I met billy on the train at Cockfosters a few years ago, I was too scared to say hello, but my mum went over, and he come over and spoke to me about what I wanted to do with football, and how he started, he then told me he was out doing something regarding the passing of his dad, it was around the time I’d lost my Nan, and we spoke on the train for about 20 minutes about how to deal with it, as I was young I was still upset about it, and he was really helpful actually, I ain’t watched F2 content in years but he was really nice. Shame that they have this reputation now.

I met Billy on several occasions as a steward and he's a brilliant bloke, I remember it was Ramadan one time i was working and I lost my date (the fruit) and he went out of his way and brought an entire box of medjool dates from Saudi Arabia (bought at a supermarket could be uk or abroad I don't know but if uk imported in they are expensive dates to buy and are very premium) for me and my colleagues. You don't forget that sense of compassion and humanity I let him take the first one from the box and sat and ate amongst his team. It was a great and normal experience.👍🏿 👌

Billy is a legend - his name will live on amongst those of us who grew up following freestyle football. I remember talking about him in class in 2007 and even my middle-aged science teacher knew who he was.

I met Billy and Jeremy during the 2009 Confederations Cup held in South Africa. I was a football Freestyler and we were performing with Jeremy and Billy plus a lady Freestyler named Charlotte Lade from Norway and Jeon Kwon from Korea. Billy was awesome and so friendly. Very collaborative and asked lots of questions about my country, South Africa. Jeremy was okay but had an arrogance to him and quite aloof to be honest. He apparently told Charlotte to go put on more make-up because they filmed a commercial together the day before. I always wondered why Charlotte was very cold towards Jeremy and it all made sense. Jeremy was the problem. Lots of Freestylers complained about his attitude back then.
I believe Charlotte works behind the scenes in a lot of UA-cam content in London now, I’ve heard great things about her. Jeremy must be a twat to piss her off
I’m glad billy is doing his own thing and doing relatively well and enjoying time with his family. He’s always seemed like an alright guy and Jeremy’s reputation flooded over to him, which wasn’t fair.

Regarding the bit about what he was told by Arsenal when they released him, think for a second about how this might just have been a kind coach softening the blow. As a dad of a lad that got a scholarship but didn't get a Pro and being the same dad that has seen his son become a coach at the same club, you have to understand that at the time it comes to decisions on lads futures they will tailor the "conversation" to reduce the tension in the room as much as possible. At least he will have left the room thinking that they rated him, which is obviously his abiding memory of that time. Deep down he will know why he didn't get a pro contract

I think it's kind of lame to make absolute judgements on a stranger's character based off rumours and a handful of ultimately pretty meaningless incidents. We always seem to forget or intentionally dismiss the idea that all of these celebrities are people who go through their own shit and can be in a bad place or caught at the wrong moment. Like any one of us has never acted out of order at some point in their lives. Seems like over time they just wanted different things, Billy appears to be Mr Football and content with that. Whereas Jeremy was all about entertaining people, he got joy by entertaining people with his (and Billy's) football skill, then wanted to expand that reach beyond football, which is where they clashed. Then working with people that Jeremy in hindsight probably didn't want to work with, prompted him to act on the separation. It's hard to stay friends in business, as it's rare that two people consistently have the same vision and work ethic. I respect both of their success, and for the most part, enjoyed the video.

Little insight into Jeremy first hand. My dad has worked within coaching and management in football for many years from lower levels to professional England FC jobs and when doing a football kids camp ages ago before Jeremy went on bgt or had any fame what so ever, he hired him in to entertain the kids as well as promote and help Jeremy. He was apparently really inpatient and unprofessional and my dad says that he is definitely a better freestyler than footballer. My dad has had pictures with him. I totally agree and understand these allegations and would not put it passed Jeremy. Billy is a legend and briefly met him at a Wembley cup game where he was polite to another extreme and wish him all the best and continue to support 👍

Knew Billy first from Becks Academy days. Played with them both at Wembley in 2014. Won’t go into details but let’s just say that all the freestylers and UA-camrs knew who the better footballer/character was that day, and he felt it.

I met Jezza at the Champions League final in Madrid several years ago. He did seem very laid back and kind of arrogant, but I felt that in a good way. He seemed happy more than anything that a fan recognised him.
Always rated Billy a lot more than Jez. However they both brought freestyling to the main stream and showed how you can make a career out with playing pro football. The thing with Billy as he's always been open and honest. Never let the fame change him think it's down to his family and just how he played a lot before. Jez just thought he was better than everyone.
Over the years Jeremy has been cocky I will admit but I've observed a major change in characters in the past 3 years, obviously ppl are different off camera and we can't be certain but I can definitely say the amount of unnecessary flexing and showboating has lessened and that ppl still focus on the old him
it's a shame it turned out like this, especially for billy, as it seems like he would be an absolute joy to have around. Jezza is unfortunately a different story, but we can't argue over the fact that he has absolutely insane skills. I met Billy and Jeremy during the 2009 Confederations Cup held in South Africa. I was a football Freestyler and we were performing with Jeremy and Billy plus a lady Freestyler named Charlotte Lade from Norway and Jeon Kwon from Korea. Billy was awesome and so friendly. Very collaborative and asked lots of questions about my country, South Africa. Jeremy was okay but had an arrogance to him and quite aloof to be honest. He apparently told Charlotte to go put on more make-up because they filmed a commercial together the day before. I always wondered why Charlotte was very cold towards Jeremy and it all made sense. Jeremy was the problem. Lots of Freestylers complained about his attitude back then.

I’m glad billy is doing his own thing and doing relatively well and enjoying time with his family. He’s always seemed like an alright guy and Jeremy’s reputation flooded over to him, which wasn’t fair.
Billy what a lovely guy, toured him round my school because his kids wanted to go there, top fella. Met him a few months later at a Nandos, he was eating with his whole family didn't want to disturb... them he called me over as I was taking a picture from the other side of Nandos because I thought it would be funny as it was my only opportunity and didn't want to disturb him or his family. top bloke remembered who I was from the tour.

I still like Billy. Seems like a humble down to earth guy, and the fact he’s still associated with people like Stephen shows that he’s at least decent to work with. But swaz lynch is just far too arrogant and it’s isolated him. Also, the fact lynch was ever associated with Haks is a bad look, but I am thankful for that clip, especially with Harry Hesketh in the background stirring the pot 😂.

As a football duo ourselves, we are currently dealing with inflated egos. One should hopefully always keep the other in check though
Regarding the bit about what he was told by Arsenal when they released him, think for a second about how this might just have been a kind coach softening the blow. As a dad of a lad that got a scholarship but didn't get a Pro and being the same dad that has seen his son become a coach at the same club, you have to understand that at the time it comes to decisions on lads futures they will tailor the "conversation" to reduce the tension in the room as much as possible. At least he will have left the room thinking that they rated him, which is obviously his abiding memory of that time. Deep down he will know why he didn't get a pro contract
These guys were my childhood. It was always fun watching them doing crazy stuff on the ball. It's honestly depressing to see how things turned out in the end..

I think it's kind of lame to make absolute judgements on a stranger's character based off rumours and a handful of ultimately pretty meaningless incidents. We always seem to forget or intentionally dismiss the idea that all of these celebrities are people who go through their own shit and can be in a bad place or caught at the wrong moment. Like any one of us has never acted out of order at some point in their lives.
Obviously, he could just be a dickhead, but there's not really any evidence of anything other than him having a fragile ego at one point in time and acting foolishly.

Seems like over time they just wanted different things, Billy appears to be Mr Football and content with that. Whereas Jeremy was all about entertaining people, he got joy by entertaining people with his (and Billy's) football skill, then wanted to expand that reach beyond football, which is where they clashed. Then working with people that Jeremy in hindsight probably didn't want to work with, prompted him to act on the separation. It's hard to stay friends in business, as it's rare that two people consistently have the same vision and work ethic. I respect both of their success, and for the most part, enjoyed the video.
This is probably the most logical and rational take on the matter. Majority of other comments seem to be just a bunch of emotionally charged individuals.

Little insight into Jeremy first hand. My dad has worked within coaching and management in football for many years from lower levels to professional England FC jobs and when doing a football kids camp ages ago before Jeremy went on bgt or had any fame what so ever, he hired him in to entertain the kids as well as promote and help Jeremy. He was apparently really inpatient and unprofessional and my dad says that he is definitely a better freestyler than footballer. My dad has had pictures with him. I totally agree and understand these allegations and would not put it passed Jeremy. Billy is a legend and briefly met him at a Wembley cup game where he was polite to another extreme and wish him all the best and continue to support 👍

All I can and will say is it’s amazing how 1 person can bring down and ruin a friendship but I will also say it’s the people who you hang around with and I believe others may have influenced Jeremy into what he is today Billy is a nice guy I met him and Jeremy when they done an autograph signing in London but you wouldn’t of thought there would be something wrong but it’s your attitude and your behaviour is what defines you and your actions that make you into who you are hence why Billy has sort of distanced himself away from Jeremy

Knew Billy first from Becks Academy days. Played with them both at Wembley in 2014. Won’t go into details but let’s just say that all the freestylers and UA-camrs knew who the better footballer/character was that day, and he felt it.

Always rated Billy a lot more than Jez. However they both brought freestyling to the main stream and showed how you can make a career out with playing pro football. The thing with Billy as he's always been open and honest. Never let the fame change him think it's down to his family and just how he played a lot before. Jez just thought he was better than everyone.

Over the years Jeremy has been cocky I will admit but I've observed a major change in characters in the past 3 years, obviously ppl are different off camera and we can't be certain but I can definitely say the amount of unnecessary flexing and showboating has lessened and that ppl still focus on the old him
