    I can pretty much say my first cubes were good enough. I once bought a Diansheng for a practice solves only. It was one of the expensive budget cube in the markets (costs atleast P80 - P100 while the usual budget cubes are only P50 below). It was ok, since this was the very fast-turning cube that I ever had. After a months, I was rewarded by a MoYu stickerless for winning* a competition. I never brought my MoYu on any competitions since I only want to keep my very first stickerless cube. This also changed my whole cubing life that's why I like MoYu and YongJun.

I learned the P case with the bar opposite, and the T case with headlights. They are only one move different, and i learned that on my own. I also modified the beginner A perm alg and it solves the superman case without headlights.

    I started cubing back in 2016. I did a lot of long brakes, so I wasnt cubing that much. But I started yesterday cubing again and Im only sub 45. Im using 2 look OLL and 2 Look PLL and F2L, but im not getting better. I want to learn full CFOP and I, bc if i dont i wont have motivation to cube in the future. I have vacation and a lot of free time. Do you think I should start?
    Cross --> ~5sec
    F2L --> ~20sec
    2 Look OLL and PLL --> ~18sec
    Im not getting faster and it so annoying. What should I do?
    (Sorry. my English isnt the best)

    That white Diansheng at the beginning is actually pretty good (for a non-speed cube), it was my main for years.

      People sleep on Diangsheng because Moyu, Qiyi and Gan have the top brands at the moment but they have great performance
