- Endings of all characters from Twisted Metal 4, re-up in 720p dimensions and 30fps. For the secret characters the ending is the same for everyone, including the final boss Sweet Tooth.

When it comes to making a wish in Twisted Metal, I feel like you literally need to bring a 200 slide Powerpoint with various diagrams and models of what you want and the exact way you want it in order to not get tricked.
that's, kinda the whole point. That what you wish for is what you get, and what you wish for is the interpretation of what you say.
Do note, the ones who wish for revenge, tend to get more straightforward results for their wishes. Axle from 2 for example, wished for the strength to face his father. He got that, and ripped his own hands and feet off to prove his strength to his father, which in truth traumatized the old man.
Or look at the wishes from TMB, and how a lot are for revenge. They all get what they want when they do that. No Face, Dark Side, Mr Grimm, and several others wanted revenge on who wronged them. They got exactly that.
Ask for 2 wishes, 1 for your actual wish and the other for a lawyer...
No one really wins twisted metal.

Calypso tended to straight shoot when the wish involved revenge or something he'd personally enjoy see happen. Like Axel in 2, or several people in TMB

@@datagrab That's likely because they weren't the original endings, known as the "lost" endings that were live action recordings. The double-crossing didn't really work as text so they just had to simplify them. Warthog originally didn't get the flight recorder. Spectre becomes living again and Calypso shoots him. The Assassin lady in the sandrail (forgot her name) doesn't get Calypso and he instead sneaks up and shoots her. You can watch comparisons between the original/cut/lost endings with the text endings straight after each one on YT by a guy called "BDCool213."
What always bothered me about this game was the fact sweet tooth never talks and had that clown talk for him

He's in charge of this twisted metal because once he wished to be the star of twisted metal. Thats the reason why he's kind of the mascot in the series. But after some years he became jelaous of Calypso so he overthrew him and stole his ring with his dwarf clowns. Also there is no reason why Melvin (the small clown) is talking for Needles, (Sweet Tooth)

The ending where stripper cop (I can't remember her name, so she's stripper cop) got Sweet Tooth to attend Driver's Ed is the funniest shit ever. Not just for the sheer ridiculousness of it, but also because of Sweet Tooth in Driver's Ed.

As a game, this was pure Twisted Metal. Just a shame that the cutscene animation was akin to that of Food Fight.
This was high quality animation in 1999, stop judging things from the past.

Pure Twisted Metal? Jaffe (one of the creators) had nothing to do with this game. This was a licensed bought out game that 989 Studios published. It’s a TM knock off.

It is canon but calypso wins and breaks free from the ring but they don't talk about it but I think the ring is one of the items on the wall in the 2012 game all games are canon because they are talked about in other games minion won one year and is mention so in either 2 or black

My favorite endings throughout this series will always be the ones where the winner tries to stop calypso or whoever is hosting the tournament. The mortician dude from the second game with the ghosts, this game that robot guy. In this one calypso fights back against sweet tooth. Minion from the second game straight up drags calypso to hell.
That terrible RC car game that came after this one had a couple.
I just enjoy seeing characters smart enough to know that the host can’t be trusted and has to be stopped as quickly as possible once they’re out in the open.
Calypso is the best character for that reason. He'll always win.

Orbital's ending was good too. In fact, it was the only ending that feels like it would be in the other games. I also thought Goggle Eyes ending was decent too. It was literally a play on the words "Butterflies in your stomach".

I think we can all agree that Mr Zombie got one of the best endings out of all the characters.
It was just parts of his video in horrible quality. I'm sure he dumped a decent amount of money but also made a decent amount off this too lol
Beginning to find all the games rather hilarious except Black. Black was pretty dark and it was pretty well made.
The odd thing is, is that Black and this have a similar premace but they're on two completely different ass ends of the spectrum.

Twisted Metal 4 is underrated. Sure its not good as Twisted Metal 2 or Black but its definitely better than Twisted Metal 3 and 989 Studios learn from there mistakes and try to improve upon it predecessor. Also I really love Sweet Tooth design in this game an psychopathic clown dress up in a ringmaster outfit is brilliant!

This is a great game. Ppl should learn to think for themselves instead of riding the butthurt SingleTrac band wagon. U ppl do realize the only reason they bash 3 and 4 is because Sony wouldnt pay them what they wanted 2 continue twisted metal so they and Sony parted ways and Sony gave the IP to 989 to create more twisted metal. SingleTrac is just butthurt, their arguments as to why tm3 and 4 are "bad" don't hold water. Needles ending from TM 1 and 2 would fit right into tm 3 and 4. I would rather play 3 and 4 over black and ps3 any day.
I know right 3 and 4 were the best nostalgia. I like the original over 2 but the handling in those games was so stupid. Just like 2012 go straight do a drifting 180 repeat.... I liked Small Brawl as well! Black was great.
