But he is shying away from using his leverage to organise the masses on the streets of the US and voted for every shit the neolibs put out in Congress or presidents like his "good friend" Biden. Talking the talk and not walking the walk is pretty cowardly. I don't want to minimise his decade long work for working and poor people, but it didn't changed "anything" for the better besides some crumbs falling down the table. We have to be serious and overcome being thankful for crumbs and cheer the people in political positions we voted in without holding them to account. The US is a heck of a neo-liberal and neo-conservative shit hole where people are more and more desperate, just like in the UK and other countries. We don't get near the pot others feed on, the pot we fill with our tears and fears. The future is looking bleak if we not only demand but pressure to get what's needed, a life in dignity and a future worth a living. Every upcoming generation lives as good or bad as the generations before fought or not fought for. For now, we have a heck of work before us to be seen by future generations as fighters or benders!
And by the way, Bernie is not a socialist like he himself claims and others repeat, he pretty much promotes social democracy not socialism.

We need to take the best of what state interventionism can offer and take the best of what the market can offer.
We must regulate the market effectively and efficiently. We must also distribute wealth fairly and reward risk taking.
