It's mainly a difference in capabilities. The PX330 has a larger selection of sounds and more recording/accompaniment features. The basic piano sound quality and touch response is about the same. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

The PX130 only has a 1/8 inch headphone output, but you can use a splitter cable to plug into a sound system. The PX130 does have a transpose function, plus or minus 12 half steps. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Yes, the Casio Privia PX130 had weighted keys, but it has been replaced by the new model…Casio Privia PX-150. The PX-150 features an improved weighted key action so it feels even more like a real piano. Thanks for watching!

    Hello,
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Casio PX130. The basic grand piano sound is the same in the PX130 and PX330. However, the PX330 will give you many additional variations of piano sound, and well as numerous other sounds like organs, strings, orchestral sounds, guitars, basses, and drums. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

    Hi,
Thanks for the question. Yes, we do run the PX130 out of the headphone amp into a mixing board and PA system for our videos. It sounds great, and the larger speakers give a fuller sound than the onboard ones, not to mention more volume. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

    Hi,
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Casio PX130. The PX130 does a pretty good job at simulating the sound and feel of a real piano. That being said, no digital piano can sound or feel 100% like an acoustic instrument. The advantage to the PX130 is that it's lightweight, affordable, and never needs to be tuned. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Standard USB cable…same as connecting a printer or other peripheral. It's a regular flat USB plug into your computer…it's a square connection into your Privia. Thanks for watching!

    Hi,
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music. The PX130 does allow you to split two sounds across the keyboard. Check out section E-8 in your owner's manual and it will walk you through the procedure. If you don't have the manual, you can download it at Kraftmusic (do a search for "Casio PX130" and scroll to the bottom of the product page. Thanks!

You will need to connect to the headphone output of the PX130. This will allow you to send signal to your house PA system. However, plugging into the headphone jack does mute the on-board speakers so the keyboard player will probably need a monitor speaker in order to hear themselves properly. Thanks for watching!

That is true. The piano sample has three velocity layers...but 128 volume levels. So as you play from softest to loudest...you'll hear a smooth transition in volume and tone. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Have you ever tried lining it through the headphone jack with an adapter to a mixer/PA or amp? Will it sound the same/better?

I really like this piano for its features and price range. However, I am looking for a digital piano with weighted keys that make it feel more like an actual piano. I was wondering if this digital piano had that feature. If not, could you recommend any other digital pianos close to the price of this one?

Do you use the pedal when you're doing the "piano + string" effect at 2:39?
    Thanks

@tapeduck21 first turn on the metronome using the metronome button. Then while holding the "function" button, look to the higher keys on the right and 6 of those will correspond to "metronome beat". and then just pick what beat you want. The 3 will give you 3/4 time and etc. Hope that helps :) Best of luck on your lessons.

Hi, I wanna buy my first digital piano and I don't know whether to buy the Casio px130 or the Korg sp170. I don't have a good pianosound ear yet as I'm a beginner. Which one has a better piano sound? Which one is more versatile? What would be the best choice?

I am thinking of getting a digital piano. I may seek your live bundle offer. Two questions 1) Can you run line outs to amps or P.A.s. 2) Does this unit also have a transpose feature for comping or playing in the key of C. I want a lightweight great sounding piano for $1000.00 and under. Thank you.
