The Joy Con straps are meant to be different colors, the left Joy Con gets the kinda darker and grayish strap, the right Joy Con gets the very slightly blueish strap
I understand it cuts cost, especially when all that stuff is uploaded digitally online now so there is no point for physical manuals, but I really think for this special game they could have included something like a manual or reversible cover. It's just more laziness and greedy on Nintendo's part IMO.
I got the cat Mario recently. I tried it on a free amiibo came. I was curious what it does. It just registers cat mario. As regular mario. Obviously because there is no cat mario on the 3ds.
It’s for hyrule warriors on the 3ds all zelda amiibo give you in game exclusive items like weapons whereas none zelda amiibo just give you resources and rupees the loftwing amiibo will register as zelda herself from the nfc tag most likely give you weapons related to her so having the 3ds printed on the boxes still has its purpose
Drove an hour to get these joycons and I absolutely love them, I hope they do more of these special controllers, hopefully the pro controller next, also I played this game as a first time player, 100% and it was amazing definitely a top 3 Zelda game IMO, love the story and it’s nice to return to a more linear story after breath of the wild, don’t really mind the amiibo functionality since they do need to do something but it doesn’t really change the gameplay, also the motion controls are pretty good, especially since I really don’t want to hold the L button for the camera, apart from the mini games, I played all of the mini games with the button controls cause it made it way easier lol
I can confirm that no, you can't use it in dungeons As for my idea, I'd say something like "Goddess Blessing" where when you die, Zelda will call to you to not give up and restores all your hearts, adding a couple additional ones in there as well while also giving you temporary invincibility, increase stamina, and double attack power for a limited time. To activate it all you have to do is just tap it when you die (It'll show an icon) but here's the catch, It'll only work once per day once you use it, you gotta wait till tomorrow to use it again.
I would want the Amiibo to make me invincible, give me an awesome weapon, or fill up my health. Or, make it so that I can use any other Zelda related Amiibo and get one of those 3 features I mentioned above. For longer games like Zelda I prefer to have an easier time.

My amiibo hasn't arrived yet so I made my own using an NFC tag. It's actually more convenient than carrying around an amiibo when I travel. Overall I like the Skyward Sword HD button controls but they should've made the L button toggle between camera and sword modes rather than forcing you to hold it to use the camera.
My idea is that the amiibo would give you a new difficulty and/or add an entire different dungeon, the feature that it comes with is not something I was expecting to be behind an amiibo, I was hoping it would be a quality of life addition for the switch, something cool and optional, not something that should be hidden behind an amiibo. Still really cool though!
i think that the amiibo has pretty good functions. I feel like technically its not a big since the save stations are everywhere and you can travel with that.
The joycons are amazing. I have to wait a few months to get the game, but I just got the joycons at walmart for like $70 and they look amazing. Once I get some clear plastic casing for them, they'll be my new main joycons.
Also they had a keyring or keychain whatever you prefer to call it also in our local game store chain in the uk we got an exclusive skyward sword hd t shirt so many retail exclusive to premote the game but what I would have loved the most is audio soundtrack physical or digital the music in skyward sword is incredible love it so much in someone’s else’s video in the nyc nintendo store they got an embossed poster and sticker sheet makes you think what other retailers had exclusive to them not documented yet
I was able to get two Joy-Con packs by ordering them at 12:30 am on Target's App, luckily they were available at that time. I got one to use and one to keep sealed and display
I've only played 1 Zelda game & that was "The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword(Wii)" back in November of 2011(I was in the 6th grade at Ridge Road Middle School), but I left it alone for 10 years. Mostly because I'm not great with Zelda games.
It would be too big of a concept to make zelda a playable character in skyward sword just cause of an amiibo at most they should make it where you can ride zeldas loftwing and it has different abilities or flies faster or flaps higher or maybe a cool faron woods mini game where you fly around as zelda on her loftwing, the only other thing i can think of is making a super hard version of the game totally redone dungeons like a master quest mode but i feel like that would be more fitting with a ghirahim amiibo

I wished they would have used buttons for controller players.. hate motion control. But the right thumbs tick barely works. My store had 8 of these joycons and sold instantly.. I got one in today,so I bought it.

You act like a Nintendo expert. How do you not know that the joy cons are supposed to be different colors? The right represents the master sword and the left represents the hilian shield. Or was the statement designed to fill more air with words that do not ho anywhere, just filler?
It's a huge turn off for me about amiibos, i hate the fact they have something behind the amiibos, i wish they could just drop it, another bs gimmick, just make amiibos cool figurines and that's the end of it, that's the main reason why people want the amiibos anyway , and stop putting they "funtionality" into the game, how come i cannot 100% zelda botw because i don0t have like 100 or more dollars worth of amiibo, ok the argument is that those outfits are justs cosmetic, but they are on disc DLC, nintendo shoulkd just drop the amiibo functionality on the games and just make amiibos cool figurines and that's the end of it, that would be cool
If the Amiibo unlocked a secret game mode (remastered Crossbow Training), it'd be a bit better than unlocking something that seems like a basic feature

I find it funny how in the back of the Amiibo boxes, they still show images of the NEW Nintendo 3DS although they have discontinued the system.
Especially when the Amiibo isn't even that usable on the 3DS because the game it was made for wasn't released on the system.

skyward sword hd is a completely different game. it’s so good. playing the whole game with button controls.
I enjoy it with motion and then if I wanna lay down I use my pro controller and use the stick feature. The game is great!
Don't sell it short. An up-res from 480i/30fps to 1080p/60fps is a huge upgrade.

It would’ve been cool if the Amiibo unlocks fast travel early. You can unlock fast travel after you beat the game once.

Great game but its so weird for me since botw is my first zelda game. So to pick it up would be beneficial for me to understand the timeline
In a way. It is radically different then Botw though. If I had to recommend one 3D Zelda, it’d probably be twilight Princess, but I’m biased
