This is an amazing song by Dream Theater, it's been a very special song to me since I first heard it in the mid 90's and this is an amazing cover. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into this.
wowwww I could very well see you doing a live show recording the instruments on different screens on stage but singing live in front of an audience. that is to say really too hot. a group of your own
Hey man, this is awesome! Have you thought about uploading a version without the lead vocals (so us mortals could try and sing it ourselves) to your bandcamp, I'm sure many of us will buy it. Keep up the great work!
This is my favorite DT song, and you did a great job with it. I appreciate it. Btw.. love the fallen DT album in the background. Octavarium must have knocked it down.
The whole thing was spot on. The mixing however needs help. Especially the bit 3/4 of the way through and all the guitars come in, the vocals sound completely drowned and confined with a bedroom echo but the guitars have massive reverb. Fix the mixing and this will be awesome.
Great job but not so sure the singer was even close to the right choice here. Lack of emotional presence and over working the pronunciation and diction of the words. Relax and put yourself into a place where your entire life has been turned inside out by someone you thought you loved. Simple,......right.
@@judowrestlerka This video is old, English isn't my first language so pronunciation can be weird sometimes. I did all the instruments, singing and mixing (still do to this day). But thanks for checking it out!
@@PathfinderProject you did well. I am just a real critical asshole sometimes and tend to put everyone at the same level of ability. For English being a secondary or tertiary language, HELL yes, you got it. This song just has a great deal of depth to it for me. It brings me back to a place of really cold and separated loneliness. The week that album, "Awake" came out, my first wife was killed in a horrible car accident and I went into a 2 year pit of despair. That song was very hard to listen to
Good job man!
Thanks louis to tell us about this channel.

Louis is a DT fan? Hype
That was really awesome man.👍👍

To this day I sincerely miss Kevin’s presence in DT. A true artist…I’m glad we got Chroma Key and OSI out of his departure though

Yeaahh, the mix sucks, I know 🤣
This was done 4 years ago, though. You should check out my newer stuff and see for yourself if it got better!
Nice.
Why's the main vocal line doubled, if I may ask?
It is doubled in the OG so :P
Your comments are getting raid by Steve jobs
Where’s the drummer?
Why it got fee views😐
not playing drums? well... you are very much forgiven...
I used to live in a very small bachelor, now in a small 4 1/2 soooo yeah live drums are pretty much out the question for me 😛
