Gotta give Rocket some props. They're not out to "better" the world in some way, shape or form because of some perceived slight or problem with it. They want money. They want power. That's all they go for. They never hide the fact.

Yet, despite their not hiding it, a lot of people have no clue that Team Rocket is up to no good at all times. It says something that the one and only Boss Rocket Giovanni is the Gym Leader in Viridian City, and yet no one mentions it or even seems worried.
To be fair, the hypocrisy was part of Ghetsis' plan. Ghetsis is a solid runner-up for most dastardly villain in the series, but Giovanni still takes the cake for being the sort of supervillain that actually exists in real life: an organized crime boss. He takes a lot of cues from Al Capone, including having enough sway in the government to basically own a major city with no backlash.

Why aren't there more remixes of this song out there? This song stood out, even in a game where practically every song was an instant classic.
It was because despite the chippy and upbeat music of routs, they decided to make a more energetic piece. If you go back to the original games the rout and town music all carried a similar theme. then they took this song and spun it on its head.

I don't know man, Team Rocket has been chasing Ash and Pickachu for literally years on end, with nothing to show for themselves, spending money out the wazoo on balloons, weird assorted contraptions like arm-extenders, tanks, electricity-draining devices, various digging machines, explosives, and on and on and on. Any even remotely prudent business man would have canned their asses by now. I'm guessing he inherited them all from Giovanni Senior.

So i finally found it. I have a weird story with this remix.
I'd say it was 2013 or 2014 when i noticed, in an old pc i had, with no internet connection, i had a music file with the name "Team Rocket Hideout Theme Remix", which is weird because i didn't remember bringing any sort of file with that name to said pc.
In fact i never downloaded any sort of music files by 2013, i wasn't a music person. And now, after randomly searching UA-cam without anything to watch or listen to, after hearing this remix, i can say for certain that this IS the same as the file in my pc.
Pretty creepy shit.

Oh man.. A revamp of Red and Blue to the 3DS would be the last thing that Game Freak would do to end Pokemon. I can say it will be amazing. I can see it being nostalgic.
If there's anything that they're going to end on, it would be a game with all of the regions.
***** Why wouldn't they though? plenty of fans would love an FRLG remake and GameFreak doesn't have to put anywork on storyline or pokemon sprite animation. They also have a map, they just need to make it 3D, meaning they'll get good profit for less work. GameFreak won't pass an opportunity like that.

And all remakes are repetitive, it's the post-game and in-game side contents that make the experience fresh.
Crimson Keshu I would love a remake of Gen 1. :3 Sadly the last time I played Pokemon Blue was when I was very young and then my gameboy broke. :l For this reason I consider Gen 3 my first pokemon games.

There are plenty of new players in the world, for them, the Kanto experience will be fresh and new and it will please many fans.
GameFreak has a bunch of ideas that they'll be implementing one by one in each upcoming games.The only reason people still play pokemon is because of these new features and concepts more than anything else.
I think that this remix shows that Giovanni is a powerful leader that does not like to be messed with, this is a great remix.

How amazing would an organization like this be:
Some clandestine team which tries to win over poor people in destroying the elite. They can start by robbing a big Pokémart and then became more and more drastic. Kidnapping a daughter of a Gym Leader to blackmail him into retreating and leaving his riches behind. Burning down the professor's lab for spending all the tax money. Some members are in every city, soon coming after you, if you twart their plans. Your own mother could get involved, because she is unemployed (who really _is_ employed, anyways?), but wants to support you with a bike or new boots. And it turns out the mastermind is someone of the elite himself who just wants all the power for himself.
That would be epic in my opinion, and still fitting of the Pokémon franchise.

Anyways, You have a good idea,a bit more darker than usual but not too dark, hence, very fitting. However, the E4 member being part of the villains have been used already, wanna twist it up a bit more maybe? Also their primary goal should be something a bit more interesting than "Taking over the world".

When I am referring to the elite I don't mean just the Elite Four. I am referring to everyone who has power they don't necessarily deserve. Professors who get most of their work done with the help from kids, trainers who just happen to obtain powerful Pokémon rather than training them from scratch.
I made that up from scratch and wanted to start a vivid discussion. I am wholeheartedly interested in the ideas of others.
The boss could use the disarray during a coup d'état to give power to a legendary Pokémon which promised him something special like healing him of an illness and granting him a long and prosper life. But as a twist the Pokémon is a trickster and all his efforts were for nothing.

Anyways,How about including the frontier brains? They are powerful trainers who don't have much importance in the usual plot of the games so, it'd be cool to include them.They also have some powerful pokemon, even legendaries.

I haven't played a game since FRLG came out, either. But I have watched many people play the Pokémon games. Kind of odd for a fan, I know. :D
And yes, that would be a good idea. I can't care much for someone with only a few lines of dialogue, so I am one who always wants maximum involvement of everybody. Which is a bit too ambitious, but too many trainers have much wasted potential.
I understand that too much story hinders the pace of the game, but I like to get to know the characters well. It could be optional to a certain level, though. A few more side quests would be nice. But I am drifting off-topic, now. :D

With what, three or four sound channels? Each song made you FEEL like you were there, doing what you were. To this day I try to go back to vermillion city in fr/lg r/b/y when I want to quit the game so when I play later I hear that familiar tune that makes the image of a port town at sunset pop into my head, with people waving hello and goodbye to the passengers of each ship that enters the harbor. This is why I love it when a remixer preserves the feel of a song. Wow that was long winded.

Look up "Lavender town syndrome". There are reports of kids committing suicide after apparently playing through pokemon and reaching Lavender town, which is where they first heard the Lavender town theme and were overwhelmed by unnerving thoughts and feelings shortly before being hypnotized by abnormal sound frequencies hidden within the Lavender town theme. Others said they had horrible nightmares and some even claimed to feel sick to their stomachs. If THAT'S not the darkest side of pokemon, I don't know what the f*ck is!

i would still call them respectable as villains over the other groups. They didn't want to change the world or remake it in their image their goal was simply just to make money, cause chaos, and kill those who get in their way. I would say that fits them rather well as the glorified pokemon mafia they are.

cyrus of team galactic wanted the world to make sense to him, regardless of the consequences
some of team plasma really did want to free all pokemon, while others went for the world domination shtick

these are perfectly acceptable opinions that have been blown out of proportion while team rocket were typical gangsters without much development. besides, team rocket was after world conquest, its just not covered well ingame.

It probably be Rhypherior. Both Rhyperior and Dusknoir are disappointments just give Rhydon and Dusclops and evolite and you'll have something better than their next evolutions, but a mega would be mind blowing.

Dusknoir and Dusclops are used differently: Dusclops stalls with trollish Eviolite bulk, and Dusknoir rapes entire teams in Trick Room (I should know, it was my MVP for a while and bitch punched idiots who thought they could take it down with Draco-Meteor).
Rhydon though, I will admit outshines Rhyperior in every way with Eviolite since the defense boost outdoes Solid Rock for SE hits and it looks a hell of a lot cooler than that fugly evolution.

Rhyperior has an extremely different color scheme than Rhydon. Even if Rhyperior got a mega, I don't think it would look like that. I do not see Rhyperior as a disappointment, as I find it very versatile.
