Why do some people care that she wasn't properly introduced beforehand? Do you not remember every elite four member before Sun and Moon? Some we saw before like Marshal, Malva, etc... But 80% of elite four members are people we never saw until our battles with them.

Looking back, I love how in my first playthrough of Moon (which was also my first Pokemon game) the elite four actually posed a challenge. I was the kind of person who didn't know what grinding was, so I kept throwing myself at them, over, and over. To this day, that moment in my life, of not being able to beat them, no matter what, is one of the coolest things I remember in Pokemon (that wasn't a cutscene or dialogue). The elite four from White also had that same effect but less so because I was more experienced when I played that.

Kinda reminded me of the Hoenn Champion theme-- I honestly couldn't tell you why, just something I noticed. I love this remix a lot though because A, its just really good and B, S/M US/UM had the only Elite Four I was able to sweep, much different from the Plains of Oblivion the B2/W2 Elite Four put me through and the Shadow Realm OR/AS nearly sent me to. 10/10 would add to my playlist

One of the main reasons e4 theme is one of my favourited is because masuda teased it as "unused" track for sumo. I mean it was not exactly the e4 theme but an early version if it. When I heard the clip, I loved it and it made me sad to know that it won't be used but when I heard it in the e4, I got super excited. lol
