I can easily recognise when I get an E-perm.
The hard part is knowing for a fact that I will get the orientation wrong and end up with a H-Perm
True i spend like 1 to 2 seconds on recognition and get it wrong like 1/5 times

Same. The lack of any blocks makes it one of the easiest to recognize, but I then spend a solid 5 seconds figuring out how to hold it.
@@aidenbagshaw5573 The recognition technique to recognise which side E perm is to be done on is quite simple.
Look at the UF sticker and then look at either the UFL or UFR sticker. If the stickers are opposite colours, then this is the correct position. If the stickers are the same colour, then you need to do a U or U' and then execute the alg.

That's technically not a J Perm, as that one(the Ja Perm) kinda forms an L, while the Jb Perm forms an actual J.
I feel like since you are usually super serious in your videos, the small amounts of dry humor you put in the videos seem way funnier than they are

I agree with your e perm, honestly when drilling, it takes the same time as a z perm (1-1.2 sec), but the recognition is so slow lmao

My favorite PLLs are A-perms, V-perm, Ga-perm and probably Y-perm. Also you might want to know how some of the PLLs are called in Russian.
EDIT: you now what, I'm gonna give them all.
Ja-perm - North
Jb-perm - South
T-perm - West
F-perm - Traffic light
Y-perm - Australia
Aa/Ab perms - Adjacent/Opposite triangles
E-perm - Turtle/Terminator :l
Na/Nb - Right/left bricks
Ra-perm - Equator
Rb-perm - Murder
Ua/Ub - Adjacent/opposite windows
Z-perm - Rails
H-perm - Chess
V-perm - Angle
Ga/Gc - Oncoming/moving away cars
Gb/Gd - Close/far snails
Yeah, some of them make sense, some don't.

The reason i learn the v perm alg is because thailand a cube rotation and i thought it look cool when i was able to do it.

When I do my V perm I don't rotate the cube I do like a fat D'
I regrip the cube once but that's just from bad muscle memory, you could learn it without regrips or cube rotations.

This V perm hasn't got a cube rotation cos the wide d' does it for you:
[R' U R' d'] [R' F'] [R2 U' R' U] [R' F R F]
and it can be turned into an F perm real easy:
[R' U2 R' d'] [R' F'] [R2 U' R' U] [R' F R U' F] (and it is way shorter than 18 moves)
I use 2 look pll and I’m trying to learn full pll but wot I do on a perms is v perm followed by a j perm cause I don’t know a perm

faster vperm well it's 25 moves long but without a cube rotation it's s conjugat well I made it a conjugate alg-R U R' U then Eperm then U' R U' R' setup is 8 moves and e perm is 17 moves means 25 moves

my favorite pll is g perm

G perm actually is one of my favorites. Actually it's four of my favorites. I'd say they're the first ones after U, H, & Z. Maybe T, Y, & Jb (the fast J).
Fun fact: it is possible to solve any PLL except H in just two G perms.
I'm barely sub-30 (PB 18.64), but the G perms are actually my favorite! Gb > Gd > Ga > Gc. They're slightly faster for me than H and Z perm, slower than Ub and Jb. Next favs are Ja (alternate alg), Rb, and F.
G perms are so hard to learn.I have only learned half of one.
I don't mind them at all. They used to be my worst PLLs, but after watching J Perm's video on them, and after about a week of practice, I kind of like them now

I got rid of the rotation in the V- Perm by changing the "U' y" into a Dw prime, and it actually works kinda well for me.

I was thinking the same man. I was very much surprised. Y perm is just 17 moves and it’s very easy to recognize and execute. I’d definitely rank it an A if not S.

When I first started learning 1look PLL I immediately loved the Jb perm because of how smooth it is. But I hated the Ja perm because of the cube rotation and the F moves. So I've been referring to them as the 'good' JPerm and the 'shit' JPerm.
One thing that I do is use the R2 move to transition into the cube rotation because it's a lot easier
maybe u can do left jb perm as ja perm.
or do left anti sune+ anti nikolas. there's a small cancellation in between. so the alg(hold the long same colour strip on right) would become: L' U2 L U L' U2 R U' L U R'
Another thing about E perm is that depending on how you hold the cube, it looks exactly like a V perm.

E perm is one of my favorites :(
My favorite PLL alg is T perm, because when you do blind fold solves using the beginners method (old pochmann method) you use T perm for to solve the edges and an algorithm simmular to Y perm when solving the corners.
But I always choose to use T perm for both corners and edges.
If you solve the rubik's cube that way, you would have to use the T perm about 20 times per solve. Which means I've done the T perm so many times that I've become attached to it. I never knew it was possible to acutally become attached to a single algorithm.
I just learned the t perm, and it's already my favorite algorithm (still have to learn G and R perms tho) xD
It just feels so nice to execute!
