Field of Dreams! That axe is cool! I think it's just a punch, not for leather. Farmers used those to knock out stubborn pins, etc. The pointy thing is a cultivator tine used to break up the surface of the soil and kill the weeds.
the bit you show at 1.47 looks like an old motorcycle foot rest. the bit in the middle is on the underside and would be for strength, the curved edges at each end would have a rubber section that goes between them and the hole would be where it mounted to a bracket on the frame. the other thing near the end, the long bar with a flat surface, looks like it could be a bicycle tyre lever.
Just wanted to say. I only did one field. 23 years ago I found a one inch GOLD HEART 13 inches down. Soft pitch low sound. It was really neat that someone lost this geart, no chain. It was soldid gold and still really gold color
Hey JTB, sweet finds on that farm permission ! If you have the skill I would totally made a handle for the tomahawk axe head. Thanks for sharing and take care.🙏
The first item you showed us looked like a very caked with mud pocket knife 🤷 I dunno ☺ Other than the Axe, horseshoe and wenches, I couldn't tell you anything about the other items. You found plenty of FE though 😃 You said that You usually always have hunted the cornfield, why not go to the other cleared fields when available? Just my curiosity question here! Have a blessed weekend 🙏
Nice hunt and finds. The axe head is in amazing shape and doesn't look like it had been buried very long. Are there reenactors in that area? Thanks for sharing, GL, HH and take care.
Hope you all enjoyed this hunt! Want to see more??? ua-cam.com/video/zfKODplE5DE/v-deo.html This is a great farm hunt!
The wrench, the intact one is 1880s - 1910s, cool find
Sweet! Thanks!
Well done on the finds amazing
Thanks!

Thanks lil buddy!
The item @2:25 reminds me of a match strike plate that was mounted next to the wood stove in my grandpas farmhouse...
Cool! It just might be, feels like it has that rough type of surface on it! Thank you!
Hi J3B. Super neat finds. I really like the ax, horseshoe, and tools. Good luck in the next field. *:-)*
Thanks man! I'll be back there as soon as the snow's gone!

Not old stuff. Blue paint????? And the hatchet? I think not, but fun to watch.
You think not about the hatchet? I don't know what you mean lol .But thanks for watching!
When doing fields led is ur friend, when ever I find led you usually find buttons and silver hammered coins :) iron annoys the heck out of me.
Agreed! But if you find old iron square nails, thats a good sign!
@@jthreeb Absolutely finding them nails is deffo good sign 👌
%100 AWESOME!
Thanks my Jedi buddy!
Nice axe, looks like a great place to detect
It is! Too bad there's snow on it right now! lol

I don't think so, but it hasn't been buried long, I believe it's from the 50's, too modern looking
Nice axe head. You plenty of ground to cover from the looks of it. 👍
Tons! Can't wait to get back out there!
Yeah right
Not sure what you don't believe?
Hey good job for yours objects. 🙂
Thanks! It was a fun day!
That is an old farm, some good old iron on there. If you ever need company I have my own detector and live real close.
Hit me up on facebook, we'll plan something ASAP!
That axe must be made of brass for no rust on it
theres rust, just not a lot of it
I metal detected a field next to my house and found an 1891 S Dime!
NICE! Congrats!
Could I join you on a hunt someday
Maybe! :)
I'm from niagara Ontario
Right on! I really want to detect there, thats the area of the war of 1812! Maybe we can meet up sometime!
Please don't put that axe in vinegar.
LOL no worries, I have other plans for cleaning, preserving and making a new handle
@@jthreeb Haha ok good!
