I always thought the narrative that they could “escape the protests” by going to Sacramento was crazy. I applaud the efforts of the fans for their efforts to keep the A’s in Oakland!
He’s also said publicly he wants to try to help get Sacramento a expansion team. If/when Vegas falls through who’s to say MLB doesn’t approve him to take the A’s and keep them in Sac

I’m not sure that the A’s would be in NorCal next year had it not been for Sac. The A’s were not going to pay Oakland’s asking price for rent. They would have gone to Vegas early or even Utah. At this point, I just hope the A’s stay in NorCal.
I hate to say I kinda agree this could be our best hope. Fisher selling to Vivek who keeps them in SAC. Anyway I still hope he sells to Lacob or someone who will keep them in Oakland. Because the A's belong in Oakland.

Any major league baseball owner would at least have some common sense not to move their team or their organization to a minor league town or ballpark. Obviously. Fisher isn't one of them owners that knows anything about common sense. Good example? The Howard Terminal ballpark deal, which the city of Oakland should sue Fisher for breaching that deal. I heard it would be somewhere around $97M, or more. I don't trust the fact whatsoever, that Fisher is man enough to take responsibility for that. He's gonna chicken out by focusing on the move to Vegas.

Maybe, you and Oakland fans should look in the mirror, figure out how Oakland became a decrepit, crime ridden, huge homeless camping, dying city. Maybe look at your city’s policies and people’s voting habits.
