If you still have problems with gun cycling put the original charing handle but or swap the new spring with the original spring. I was having the same problem and that fixed it
Not necessarily, because the point of putting a muzzle brake on a 22 is to increase the barrel mass and increase the harmonics on the bullet to improve accuracy. The heavier the muzzle the better to increase mass of the barrel.
