@@chrisread3855 that’s my bad it’s Command + Delete. Not Command + D…. Option + Delete (Mac) | Alt + Backspace (Win) fills with the foreground color. Command + Delete (Mac) | Control + Backspace (Win) fills with the background color. Command + D actually is the deselect shortcut. That’s why the lasso is disappearing. Sorry! @@FilmJams I selected the light saber with the polygon tool. Then created a new layer, but when I press command + D the selection of the light saber disappears
I’m having the same issue and it doesn’t fill white . And when I fill it while on my own it doesn’t do the glow and when I change outer glow color is stays white and does nothing like you do in the video . Help please
@@MAWY119 command + D is shortcut for deselect. It will deselect the selection. You don’t want to do that until you feather the selection and then fill it.
@@squints3146 did you feather the selection? Are you on a separate layer? Make sure to follow along exactly and check the layers and layer blending styles to match what they are in the video. Good luck!
Thank you for making this easy to follow and learn.
You’re welcome! May the force be with theeee!

That’s not Yoda, that’s his older brother Joda... he’s hurting for work and kind of an alcoholic.
