I'm ok at doing damage when their whole side is open, but if they're in any other position I can't do damage if I do hit. But when I dont hit the shells land on either side of the ship
If you go to settings just go to hud and set it to full view. It's a drop down box. I use it now but more for constant information of distance. Also the time of shell flight is useful. If you are firing at an enemy who is aware of your presence and actively engaged with you knowing the time of shell flight the type of ship your engaging and it's reaction time is key. It gives you a better chance to anticipate your shot and the likelihood of the enemy out maneuvering it. Then comes the skill of placing your rounds where you think they'll try to maneuver. My best tip for any new player is learn to use the islands and structures as cover and use angles without giving up your sides as much as possible. I like to engage the enemy stern facing them angled for full gun salvo if sitting still defending. I can run a lot easier going forward and being angled makes it hard to get a full salvo on me with dispersion maybe a single shell hits me. Dont chase the opponent either a smart one is leading you into a shooting gallery 😊
I started using the dynamic crosshairs after watching a video today, and I tell you what.... I'm only two or 3 rounds in with it, but my damage output doubled. I feel way more accurate and useful at long range.
Well presented DC, a good choice on Flamu as well I still follow his output and also iChace's features on playing the game. I'm still pretty crap at the game though but I was always good at leading a tardet in the real world so that helped 👍👍
Yeah those guys are some of the best playing the game right now so its always good to look towards them for tips on how to get better, glad you enjoyed it!
With many games played you will eventually remember the "feeling" where to put the recticle. Sometimes i dont see the timer lead especially when you aim ships that come up and gone like CL behind island, the biggest threat for me is RNG, also note on low-med-high graphic setting is also put a factor with these aiming, not all players play in high end PC.
just unistalled... one day you are god one day you can't shot a BB broadside at 7 km. Fedup after 5k games i can't anymore have so bad feelings after hours that should be relax.
Why is it that i don't have the same control page? I need to press ALT in order to have Alternate interface mode. When i go to settings i need to scroll down to see Graphics, Audio and Controls
Honestly it is about feeling lol since enemy can evade, it is about choosing the right direction, unless it is like it used to be when the game first launch they have ghost lead like how you do with torpedoes. But even with that it is not guarantee hit because RNG can ruin your day, basically the one point you are aiming is the one place your shell won't ever land since the dispersion and all because you play BB it is different with CA or DD they have way better dispersion, even the best BB with high Sigma could have dud ain even if it correctly aligned because of multiple factor. The problem plaguing this game is BB cannot tank, they have low health if you compare a cruiser can almost rival BB in health cruiser are pretty accurate in comparison to BB, cruiser also maneuverable and some cruiser has insane armor, like petropavlosk or Moksva or whatever stupid tier 10 soviet line they throw, new DD has insane torpedo speed, have Def AA and heal. They need to rework fire damage because believe or not fire damage is equal as citadel hit in a battleship, fire need to be made dynamic accordingly, it make no sense if fire from a destroyer that use 127mm HE shell has equal intensity as a shell fired from thunderer that has 457mm firepower, it is extremely annoying when you have a cruiser that can literally pissing of your ship with rain of He shell like Worcester or Smolenks, while AP do nothing however in reality overpen can cause flooding but here it is do nothing beside lowering your damage, it kinda unfair really, not to mention BB doesn't have multiple consumable like cruiser, they also make most BB secondary basically useless decoration, they really make BB suffer in the name of balance by stripping so much from it, with CV it become even worse.
So how do i get an accurate shot on a fadt moving destroyer or cruiser with a battleship when im far away from them and i dont know wether they are gonna turn or not?
problem with practising is i die before i get to do anything....and also how do i calibrate aim (is that a dumb question?) cause i dont see an option for it
I'm on Xbox one and non of the options in your setting are available to me, I'll I have for controls is control preset, x and y-axis sensitivity, invert x and y-axis, collision prevention, and controller vibration, THATS IT for the controls, and I sucks when my shells dance around the ship INSTEAD OF ACTUALLY HITTING THE DAMN THING!!! And I can't unmute my mic, it gives me no option for it
Aiming successfully really isn't that hard. If your brain works its just a matter of a few hits and misses. Torpedoes are the toughest ones just because you can't know for sure what the enemy is going to do so just launch lots of them.
sorry but this tutorial doesn't explain the aiming correctly. But all of them are the same, except something what Ichase published recently that explains better but not fully how this works

And I do switch from ap to he when they are angled/broadside, and I also aim at the water line and superstructure

@@HemantSingh-sj3iu nope its built in, see in 8:33 theres timer indicator 7.37s thats the time. its not real 7s.

all you need for aiming is the mini-map, no guessing or pratice involved, put the minimap circle in front the the ship and blast away
thanks man!

Yeah even once you aim, then its down to rmg and my rng hates me
why do i only suck with yamato i literally cant hit anything past 19 km
How do you get the like tech tree thing on your boat
How are you able to aim with no marks?
hello , Have you been playing navy field ?
No, I don't play that game.
TLDR - Watch Flamu

you aren't explaining why you aim at 4.7. What's the math?
4.7 seconds is the flight time of the shells to the target. Distance divided by shell velocity gives flight time.
Uhhhg very confusing to much over explanation.
Jesus, you need to get good first before you start preaching to the choir!
I agree, what an idiot!
