Random question… have you ever had ambient temperature issues on your Searwood? I noticed for my Searwood, most of my cooks took wayyy longer than they should so I bought an ambient thermometer and it was ready close to 50 degrees off. So when I set something for 250 it’s reading 200. I’ve reached out to Webber and I haven’t heard back from them.
I haven’t had that problem but I haven’t been paying close attention to it, haven’t been using an ambient thermometer outside of the built in one. I’ll check it out and let you know.
Loving my Searwood, and the App is fantastic since Weber updated it.
Heck yes!
YDDUB HEAY!!! CHEERS!!!
Cheers!🍻
Pellets & Pits ran into a similar issue with the Searwood. Hope we don't see a trend.
Shite, me too. Although if then trend is once every 100 cooks or so, I can live with that. The nature of electronics.
Did you try the app to change settings before yanking the plug?
I did, there was no response from the controller. I kept it out of the video for the sake of brevity.
