Kasmuel was wise to run. A smart person runs from trouble and not to trouble. It's wise to avoid getting into danger way so those criticising Kasmuel for running on nane nane are the empty shallow people who like to make the loudest noise while sitting in their couches 🛋 at home.

I spoke of community, not party. It doesn't matter how sincere your objectives or aims are. Some communities will forever be associated with particular parties in Kenyan eyes. He will be tainted as a secret plant from that community. They will say he has been "bought" even if he hasn't. And for some, many infact, this will be enough to hear to confirm their age old deep rooted bias. And it is this bias that has kept us back from real change thru the years, and what you have to fight. In Kenya we only celebrate visionaries and leaders after they die.

@@stepheningosi113 I think we were cultured into thinking that we can pray our problems away. If you study the advent of Christianity & colonialism in Kenya the two go hand in hand. In fact, under colonial rule we had a State religion & denomination. Both colonialism & religion are potent tools of oppression. Religion takes a soft power approach whereas colonialism employs a hard power approach.
The soft power approach was perpetrated post-indepence by religious institutions.
The hard power approach was inherited & perpetrated by all subsequent governments even after independence.
The unholy alliance between government and religion has persisted to date.
Kenyans feign ignorance because they feel hopeless & helpless. A symptom of people who have been repeatedly brutalised, traumatised, and forced into silence.
Mass civic education is a great way to engage citizens & a potent tool in reawakening a desire for better governance.

The idea of collectives is great but they need to expand away from Nairobi and have them in every county. At the same time call out the govt on corruption, abductions, police brutality, luck of services delivery like ID's, voter registration cards, passports, and all other govt functions from national to county. Every county has an auditor general report this should be perused by collectives basically all county functions and budgets, finance bills.

Those who are saying you said you don't fear death, but u ran.
Let them know you never promised them that you will commit suicide, but you have given your life for Kenya which indeed you have, am sure many brown envelopes have come your way but you have said no because Kenyans are greater than brown envelopes.
Wait for God's reward and we pray that it comes soon. U have sacrificed too much
You remind me of David & Goliath
    Or during Herod's time.
Let me stop there but I will continue praying for & many people are all over the world n

I like that you are also a good listener, very respectfully young man. Well-done we cant change things with the same mindset that created the problems. Dont tire Samuel be strong and courageous we are praying for you.

this is the best interview ever people have started thinking.... first research i would advise study how the ufungamano initiative worked..... then do it kigenzi.... and kenya will change.... you guys have our support... finally reason and strategy taking place.... think first accept small gains solidify the gains in law then move the next step another lesson is the teachers strikes under sossion.. from the first ones over 10 years ago and their strategy learn study then develop a plan.... sorry to say this after 2 months of genz nothing has changed because there were no laws changed in short people died for nothing.... get annoyed after that you will see what am saying.... so the storming of the parliament was completely useless....now think how 1 protest can make very significant changes in governance,,, think how 20 people can make effective change then rally 1 million people or even 100000 and better governance will happen and notice i say better governance and not addressing specific individuals

I think we just need to form structures and an ideology, get to occupy political seats mcas and some mp seats and have power in parliament under one party for like minded people and act as a swing vote... we need to do a lot of civic education first, we need influencers on board as a strategy to push our narrative and we need to register as voter I included and many more 2027 elections will be won on economic challenges who will bring new solutions we need a head start and i am willing to be part of the movement and be part of civic education count me in and again advice is always welcomed

Very interesting discussion. I like the impartial, thoughtful, very informed and unbiased analysis by the doctor. I could not find anything to disagree on. The noise from the politicians will make you think that the Iranian regime is completely unreasonable. I have learnt to separate the noise from the real strategies by the US, Israel and Iran. I have also learnt a lot about the mistakes on all the three sides. For disclosure i have always been pro Israel and two things bother me
    1. I think Bibi Netanyahu has overstayed his welcome and now he is in a huge mess. Unfortunately the man is destroying the whole Nation to save himself. When leaders hang around longer than necessary they become a burden to the state.
    2. How can Israel be assured of her security if Palestine was to be allowed a sovereign state?
