As someone who lived in Kenya in the early 1980s, I am glad to see that its culture remains vibrant as it moves into the future. Congratulations to Ms Abass for your capabilities and drive
Excellent program. We need MORE of such positive, motivating, inspirational, and constructive stories about Africa and Africans from international media companies. The story's connection of young people, women, entrepreneurship, filling market niche, service sector opportunities, etc. can (and should) be replicated many times. There are more examples out there. Entrepreneurship focus helps to address the HUGE needs for jobs and livelihoods of the teeming populations in Africa. This is far better content than the otherwise depressing and negative stories about Africa and Africans. I hope other media companies are watching and ready to do SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER. Thank you.
Our regulatory body (ARSEG) here in Angola requires to carry out an activity, specifically in the field of insurance, you must have a minimum capital of 5,000,000.00 dollars. I don't know how your laws there in Kenya work regarding this activity. I'm happy to see young African entrepreneurs, keep doing your best, I guarantee that the results will be visible in a short time, that is, your business will benefit many throughout Kenya. With much love from Angola
As someone who grew up in a trucking family in Kenya, insurance is only for compliance with the law. When accidents happen you're pretty much on your own.
Not so much the northern part. The Capital; Nairobi is and many other cities in the center and near the coast are. But majority of the land is semi-desert.
Insurance venture in Kenya is very risky , last week the main Insurance company Reliance Insurance was dissolved. There is alot of fraud involved within Kenyan cooperate companies. I hope Griffin won't fall a victim of such fake claims
Insurance is a scam in Kenya, these companies control a lot and also charge a lot. Most are richer than Banks in Kenya. It's actually strange that Resolution collapsed, might be because of the woeful economic state Kenya is due to high debt, unperforming capital markets and high taxes.
This is a lie. Reliance is not the main insurance company in Kenya. It has not been dissolved thought it is possible. Please state facts on a public platform as this.
Question is. Do they honor their commitments or its just another insurance company? Is the difference only being digital? Or how are they better than other companies.
They totally ignored that very questioned and instead just answered "we make things much easier to sign up and pay us" ... as if that was the main concern of those drivers they tried to sign up.
I am Somali and she is not my sister. If she were , she would be in Somalia or Somalia wouldn't chase her into Kenya. Think of Somalia as a policy environment, not tribal identity!
The constant serious expectations of ordinary living beings wanting to immerse themselves in a entity of low level subject platform of dull, leveled, predictable stuff. The plain beings have manifested themselves on this to propagate the idea of normal ordinary which is the same old stuff of expecting this pretentious performance simply in the name of "good".It strips of color and character and wanting even the little amount to be a component of that boring entity through fear, demands or even ugly actions of high impact. Some places on this blue entity have green lands with invisible forces of moral dogma trying to snuff out others. The equator is one such example. Relegating stuff to ordinary normalcy like the hot and humid stifling atmosphere.
@Not Human yes because shes somali and were proud of her, her success is every somali person's success, and also ur countys media mentions somalis my their ethnicity when something negative happens, their ethnicity is headline news

Love and celebrate her for her success. Women have to go through so much to make big success. And culture/tradition is usually the biggest culprit.
