I want one to add to collection however I've read many articles lately about the MC9's failure to return to battery after several hundred rounds put through it, i.e., it has only surfaced after a significant run through of rounds
@michaelbiniakewitz2329 From what I can find it seems like earlier ones were sent with recoil springs that were meant for nato ammo so luger might not work as well. Several people said swapping it out for the blue spring seems to work
I own a Canik just got it a week ago already put 350 rounds out of the barrel, love it, I chose the METE SFX and it is all that they said it was and then some. I think I will get a RivalS SFX next month !

Out of the box, the Canik wins hands down. The MC9 has a much better trigger, higher stock mag capacity (also uses other Canik mags), rail, different back strap sizes, and better included accessories. The only thing I've done to the Canik is add Talon grips. I've dumped a lot of money into the 43x to bring it to the same level as the MC9 (trigger, slide, Shield mags). I shoot them both about the same and have had zero malfunctions with both. With all that said, I find myself carrying the 43x more because it's a little lighter and slightly slimmer. If you are just looking to throw an optic on it and go, Canik is the clear choice. If your are willing to dump a bunch of $$$ into upgrades, I like the 43x. @@arielcastillo4379
Got one used for 200, it had an enormous compositor attached to it. He'd been having some reliability issues with it But I work on guns a ton, figured out the problem was the frame wasn't properly cut. I needed to be shaved down now it runs like a dream
Got one absolutely love it! It's now my new primary edc with the holosun 407k green and night fision front sight, and of course I as well got the nice slab of peanut butter
Love mine. Unbelievable trigger. I found a magazine slip-on that alleviates the gap at the rear of the grip with the biggest magazine, made by a guy on YT on the channel “bloody wheels”.
I like what Canik is doing. I would love a gun like this with that trigger & the thinner profile than the other Mete pistols, but with a longer grip. I don't like pinky extensions or baseplates. I'd prefer like the P365X length so it's a full grip even without the magazine. I'm looking forward to your review.
I'm sure they'll make a xl version in the future. Most people just want something small that can fit in their pocket which is why this got released first.

Just picked one up with a green dot holosun for $700. Was so easy to get the optic on compared to having to order a special part from Springfield if I have gotten the XD

They are literally the same exact size. METE MC9 holds 12 rounds with regular mag and 15 rounds with the extended mag in this video. Just slightly heavier but if you put them next to each other they are almost identical in size. Both great conceal carry that leaves little to no print. I chose METE MC9 over Glock. $100 cheaper and just as good if not better than Glock. Canik comes with a whole kit for your gun also.
Got the same setup but mine is black , got the 507k on it and I absolutely love this gun and optic combo. Have put 500 rounds through it and it's a machine!
I just bought an MC9 and got a Holosun 507k for it as well. Does it mount directly the slide or does it need a plate? Can’t seem to find an answer anywhere online.

I bought one for shits n giggles, picked it up yesterday. Have a plethora of other firearms that I can EDC. After getting familiar with it and the trigger keeps intriguing me, I have to send rounds through it today, just due to the trigger pull, reset and break, I hope it's a tack driver I can depend my life on. Will update this evening after 300 rounds let's say.
@@asanti76 I have to say, I love it. The trigger is excellent, I have been carrying it appendix with the included holster and it's actually pretty comfortable. The rail is a lot better than my hellcat osp as it's easier to put attachments on but the top plate for the optic was a pain in the ass to take off. I'm actually putting money aside to buy another one within the next couple months for the wife's bday.
They have a 2 tone, black slide on fde frame, at least when I bought one they did. When I got mine they were selling out everywhere. I wanted the all FDE originally but I jumped on a 2 tone version when it was the only one available because I thought for sure the prices would jump up with popularity. Well Academy Sports now has them in stock and on sale for $380, for a limited time. I guess I could have waited, or maybe not. 😊

i'm going to get this pistol and it's cheaper and i held one before so i got to get one for my conceal carry. the canik mete line is top notch and i will be getting me 3 caniks and one xd-m elite from springfield armory
I haven't had any. However, when these launched they sent a ton out to people and some had issues. Traditionally canik has oversprung pistols for higher power ammo. Since most of us in the USA use 115g practice ammo they can failures. They have had that issue with springs in the past. I waited and bought my own after some time so I am guessing the inline changes had already been made.
I went with the tp9 elite sc, was torn between that in the mc9. I hope I made the right decision 😅. I just thought the extra barrel length would make it nicer to shoot.
@silverlionblades it was definitely a flat shooter was hitting really well at 10 and good at 20m. At first I had some failures to eject and feed. Gave it alittle oil and it started running well.
I just can’t do caniks maybe the race one but nightwoods guns had a bunch of issues with his mc9 or whatever it’s called. For everything that comes with the gun it’s a sweet deal if you don’t plan on shooting hundreds of rounds though it. His at the 6-700 round mark went all to hell
@@TacticalConsiderations I really don’t do Glocks that much either. I have two one because it was a probation officer trade in and was basically brand new for 300 for a g23. The other I got to deck out the 19x which I haven’t heard issues about. My favorite is hk. Well my usp. I have had it since 2004 and it’s never failed me. Something about canik mc9 I just don’t like it has a lot to do with looks. I really like the comp one that is silver I can’t think of the name though. Maybe a rival not sure but for my carry I trust my 19x as I shoot with it every other week and maintain it well or for super concealed is the p365 which is a newer generation that I haven’t had problems with. P365 still not my favorite though it’s a little snappy. But I can see you point not all guns will be 100% reliable but track record is important.
Yeah it does have an odd bore axis but all of these micro pistols have flaws. The p365 is too small and has a spongy trigger, the hellcat has a garbage trigger and is snappy, the shield plus has a weak trigger reset and no front serrations or rail, the new fn has a bad trigger reset. I could go on and on... The truth is that this canik mc9 will probably end up being the best micro pistol once canik gets all of the issues fixed. A lot of people have been having issues with this pistol. Apparently it's having issues with failure to feed and the mags aren't dropping freely.

Son bought a black one. We put 250 rounds down range and I shot faster and more accurate with it than I did with my Glock or H&K VP9.

Yeh that happened on the tp9 they like to use heavy springs for nato ammo from the factory.
was it not going all the way into battery that wat mine does on occasion??

With caniks it’s like you have to get it in cream brown. Black is still nice but the brown just hit different

Yeah probably just have been a specific batch or maybe they did release some but it was an exclusive with like shadow systems and a few others.
