Glenn retired from 21 back in December of 2020. New years Eve was his last day. Started in radio in 1971 then, in August of 87 went to the Television department and anchor the 6 &11 o’clock newscast for 10 years till November/December of 1997. He went back to reporting for the next 23 years. Carolyn left for Richmond VA for WTVR 6 as reporter. Then, went to WUSA 9 and worked for Belo Broadcasting as their reporter and Washington Correspondent from 1993-2001. Then, did freelancing at WTTG from 2005-2009. Since 2007 she currently works for Voice of America as their Washington Correspondent. Steve left broadcasting a year later and now lives in Thornville near his hometown of Glenford OH.
Where did you find this ? If you find any more from the Youngstown stations including commercials let me know. I’m currently working on a book project about broadcasting history around the Youngstown OH area.
Found it on a VHS tape. There were also some local ads and campaign messages, like "re-elect judge Thomas Norton, a true Democrat" or "Mahoning County commissioner John Palermo is capable and compassionate". All from the same news broadcast.
