Last time I went to a Sizzler is in the 80's, when my parents took us 5 kids there.

Interesting topic
as per May 2024, only 1 American Grill restaurant left in Indonesia.
That was incorrect about Australia, it was managed by 2 companies, Jardines and Collins, each with their own restaurants, Jardines closed all their restaurants in the late 90s and very early 00s and Collins remained, unsure when their last restaurant closed but it was not long after Covid.
I worked there in the Jardines stores until i came in for a shift to a sign on the door that they had closed. Never got my last pay or any kind of severance pay
I always just got the salad bar, my mom always got steak & malibu chicken.

I got food poisoning from the Atwater village location yesterday
Did anyone else notice how disgustingly overcooked the steak was at 7:58? I would be hard pressed to feed that to my dog lol.

The sizzler is Napa was a great place but the owners of the franchise absolutely ruined it. If my family went to eat lunch, as we're all forced to buy an entree AND the salad bar. This made things really expensive for my parents and left a bad taste in our mouths. They hovered over partied with someone who just ate the salad bar and would berate them for it. It was replaced with Mountain Mike's a few years ago.
