I believe that all these so-called challenges served Cher’s higher purpose in life. And they served her well and she has become a better person rearrange my office for going through them.
She is truly not only an entertainment icon. She is a shining example of how to live one’s life to the fullest.

Cher is sooo strong and driven because of her hardships growing up. These hardships are what has driven her to thrive, believe in herself, take chances to change her life, and achieve. I admire you Cher!
You fail to note that anyone else who went through all she had been through would have given up. But Cher did not give up. She is a wonderful person and she often spoke through her heart. As of her acting career, you need the right people to meet in order to get the parts. She was an outstanding actor and her pain in her life only helped her acting career. I often wondered what happened to her after Moonstruck. Thank you for showing this on Cher but her life is not tragic, it's Life. Life throws you curveballs occasionally, but it's how you deal with them on how your going to move on. Cher was courageous and proved it many times. My wife and I must have watched Moonstruck at least 30 times. We are both Italians and Cher deserved her reward as she made you feel that part. Whoever wrote that movie must have been Italian as it was spot on and after watching it the first time we thought Cher was Italian. God Bless you Cher, you were always a favorite of mine growing up.

We watched you become more and more beautiful, glamorous and more confident as a performer. My God, how good you were as an actress too! So proud of your successes. So sorry to see your grief when Sonny passed away.

I never had a clue about Cher’s tribulations. She and Sonny were such a popular couple especially with their hit “ I’ve got you babe”, who could of foreseen an end to their popularity and TV special The Sonny and Cher show. When they separated, many of their fan base couldn’t believe it. Cher is such a presence whether in acting, putting out songs and daring to be herself in her risqué clothing, we all love Cher. She’s beautiful, gifted and soulful. I will always love Cher and miss her connection to Sonny as they really were great to watch together.

I was born in 1970. I remember seeing Sonny and Cher everywhere when i was little. Cher was so beautiful when she was young. She had the perfect look for the 70's. Her tall, thin frame, flowing, straight, long, dark hair and exotic looking face set her apart. In the mid 80's I also remember she shocked everyone when she tried to revive her career with the outfit she wore in the video to her song "If I could turn back time". Today, what she wore we wouldn't bat an eyelid to, but at the time it was provocative.

There will never be anyone like Cher. Too bad she had to go through such heartache but it proves she is a strong woman who should be admired. I grew up with her music and absolutely love her. She is a great entertainer and very versatile with her music and acting. One of my favorite movies is Moonstruck which I have on DVD which my husband and I watch occasionally. Well, I recently watched Cher on an NBC Christmas Special where she sang, danced, was interviewed, and has just released a new album! Not only could she still sing!! but she looks like she's 35!! Anyone who has been through all that she has, has overcome again and again and AGAIN, and is still radiant and able to perform with "youngsters" at the age of 77 (Not 80!!) cannot be said to be living a "SAD" life! She's amazing, and a shining example of never giving up!!

As a huge fan of Sony and Cher, we were the same age (Sher and I) I owned and wore out every song they released. They could do no wrong and I loved them both but especially Cher. I followed their careers and shared their ups and downs. I never could understand the break-up but I was (and am) Still a fan of Cher although I don't have her picture all over my walls , My wife wont let me. I love and remember when they were the number one music pair in the world, I still play their songs and hope Cher goes on as long as she wants. I have ordered that her records, tapes (8 track, cassets, floppy discs and thumb drives) be put in my casket when I go. She is, was and will always will be the best, most beautiful celebrity of all time.
Cher is an exceedingly nice person! My sister knew her back in the 1960s when she was married to Sonny and they were living in Encino, California --- just the two of them with their little dog. My sister and Cher and Cher's younger sister would go out and do things together.
I was in their home with my sister a couple of times and can honestly say Cher was a sweetheart! 💕 She had not an iota of conceit, was nice to everyone, and made everyone feel welcome! She and Sonny were both as nice and normal as anyone I have ever met.
