The word “arcane” means “understood by few; mysterious or secret”. It is often associated with magic (as in this series) but it doesn’t have to be. For instance, a secret society (or fraternity or sorority) may have “arcane” rituals they use when inducting new members or for other reasons.

Apparently Arcane is set in the Year 985 or 990 and Powder was born in 975 so after doing the math powder is around 10 and VI was born around 970 or 973 so VI is around 15.

Wait, we know their birth years??? It’s possible Vi is just two years older than Powder? They’ve got quite the significant height difference for that, but it might be a combination of growth spurts making child height differences more drastic and Powder/Jinx just being a short little bitch lmao

This is the second reaction in which people somehow don't understand that 1. yes, Vi was turning herself in by using the message tube that was given to Vander and 2. yes, she got the rabbit off the wires to give to Powder and 3. yes, she's turning herself in.
I've watched a lot of reactions, and I'm used to people not getting that Vi's turning herself in, that when somebody notices it I'm surprised. But hey, don't expect much if you hear "is that Vi?" on the Jayce flashback scene lmao
I don't get how she could think it is NOT the rabbit from the wire, just because they saw it up there earlier. Like, that's literally the point. As a viewer you only saw it up the wire, and getting explained that it has been there all this time. So Vi taking it off and giving it to Powder is basically a major red flag that is telling you that she's kinda saying goodbye to Powder. Vander immediately recognized the situation as such as well.
Do people really need to visually see Vi taking the rabbit off to understand such an obvious scene?

I mean, most shows these days pretty much spell everything out for the viewer and treat the audience like idiots, so it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy. I don’t blame people anymore if they don’t pick up on obvious things; they’re just used to shows being very face-value 😞

The moral alignment of the characters in this show is way more complex than "good guys and bad guys".
It starts out seeming that way (with hints of it being otherwise) and then ~post-time skip the “good guys” start making bad decisions and the “bad guys” start doing good-ish things or have good intentions revealed. I really love the bait-and-switch this show pulls, especially seeing reaction channels slowly realize it. Some channels, weirdly enough, never do??

Regardless of if he was acting as an asshole or not, there are a ton of criminals and criminal activity repeatedly in the Undercity so Marcus acting like he does doesn't have some amount of justification. The Undercity isn't a great place. Some good people down there, but a lot of bad ones too.

its hard to get the group together week to week for shows airing and when aot came back was a busy time for them with there main full time jobs and they don't all live in the same city. But don't worry they did record a few eps of AOT so patron should be getting in the near future
