I feel as though during ep 3, everyone is so focused of powder being a little kid, that we forget that Vi is also just a child. All music was composed and produced for this show by Riot. Riot is known as a video game company that is better in creating music, animation and stories than games (still love them). Fortiche (really good French animation studio) is responsible for animation and they are old Riot collaborator. Christian Linke and Alex Yee (Arcane's creators) knew if Riot greenlights their project they would need Fortiche to make the story shine.

Bro I love jinx’s/powder’s relationship with Silco. Like yk Silco is bad but like you also know that Silco is gonna be like Powder’s new dad in the best ways possible
I wouldn't say in the best ways possible considering how Silco only worsened her trauma response by enabling her to adopt a separate persona/identity and reinforcing her feelings of abandonment. People conveniently forget that Silco was going to murder her (an innocent CHILD) and only changed his mind because she reminded him of himself. He still used her for his own personal gain. I don't think we should romanticize their relationship as something good, rather than what it truly is: two extremely traumatized people forming a bond. Silco cared for her, yes, but he was also responsible for her trauma and the decline of her mental health.
@@lilscenechick1995 He himself had to create a separate persona to deal with being almost killed by his adopted brother, because of course he had no access to therapy either, so he tried to teach her the best way he knew how to survive. It informs his whole ethos; it's what he does to Zaun, too (making it stronger with shimmer by culling the weak). It's toxic but the only way he could cope. He's absolutely broken by Piltover and Vander.

0:07 Dogs are covered in fur so they can't regulate their body heat by sweating or opening capillaries like humans do, when they need to cool down they lie on something cold, we have a large marble fire surround and when my dogs are to warm they lie on the marble because it's always cold. Cats - being more active than dogs - have a faster metabolism and so require warmer temperatures, they tend to actively seek out warmer locations while dogs will move around from warm location to cool location depending on their need.

The way I just finished the show and came RUNNING to your channel bc I knew you reacted to it. I loooooved your reactions lol can't wait for you to watch season 2
to me vi’s reaction seems totally normal. her father and best friends were killed by her little sister (even though she wanted to help). now, do i think hitting powder was the right move? of course not. like you said, violence is never the answer, but her lashing out on powder like that just comes to show her real, raw emotions as a human being. she had pressure on her shoulders. she needed to free vander, while still taking care of her sister and brothers; it didn’t turn out like she wanted and needed it to, so she exploded. but yeah, i just wanted to show my personal perspective on her character. she’s a human, who got hurt, so she hurt back in the worse way possible. so.. yeah, i love her so much. :( (and i also adore powder with my whole heart
I love Arcane so much, and I'm so glad you're watching it. It does spike my anxiety though lol. If you're ever looking for something that tackles stuff like Arcane does, but in a more kid friendly way (less violence), I'd recommend the Monster High movies from the 2010s. They're just as good, but aimed at a different audience.
"This show is trauma on top of trauma." Best to just... come to terms with that early on. The show is pain, itself, but... it is _so_ beautifully executed pain XD
No idea why I clicked on this reaction. Then in like the first minute of your into you proved to be literate and understand what "ignorant" means. I fall so hard for intelligence. Hooked before the reaction even started. Stay you always and be well girl. (you have a new fan) 😄
waah, you reacted to this my gosh I'm getting excited. This series was so good I can't wait for season 2 waaaaakkk. The episode 1 title has a song you should listen to it.
The children's song at the beginning of episode 1 explains the relationship between Piltover and undercity/Zaun. The city spans an isthmus. At some point in the past, they decided to dig a canal through the middle of the city to make money on tolls. During the dig, undercity was flooded, releasing toxic chemicals. Piltover became wealthy from the canal, and never once bothered to spend those profits fixing the flooding or pollution in the undercity. The people in the undercity are a permanent exploited underclass, which led to the attempted rebellion depicted in the introduction of episode one. Vi is voiced by Hailee Steinfeld, who also played Spider-Gwen in Spider-Verse, and Kate Bishop in Hawkeye. The Enforcers wear masks in the undercity because of the pollution. The locals are used to it. Ekko (Little Man) is one of my favorite characters in this show full of amazing characters. Silco is voiced by the same actor who played goofy Wally in Young Justice. Mel is sex and power personified. This was the first major project by this animation studio. Up until this show, they only did ads, music videos, trailers, etc.
Love the video, Rukiya!! Your reactions are always amazing! ❤️❤️ Can’t wait for you to watch more of this show, it’s a fantastic watch 😄 The first three episodes are intense! 😱
Welcome to the lanes! Love it when people come in with no prior knowledge, makes it even better in a way :) Oh my goodness, just a few minutes in = New subscriber! DID YOU JUST SKIP THE INTRO!? lol
I played League for many years off and on, haven't played in a couple now though and despite hearing the praise for this show, I just swept it under the rug, I wasn't interested for one reason or another but decided to watch it last night and holy shit.. I feel like an idiot for not watching it sooner. Absolute masterpiece. The story, the living breathing world, the complex layered, actually compelling characters and their arcs, beautiful animation, amazing fight scenes. One of the best shows I have seen in I don't even know how long, last time I loved something this much was Haunting of Hill House. I watched it last night and still can't stop thinking about it. Cannot wait for S2, I just hope it's as lovingly and painstakingly crafted as this was.

Average Watcher: "Marcus is a jerk of a character." --Silco Betrayal Happens-- Marcus, looking around in bewilderment, visibly outraged: "What the hell have you done? This wasn't the deal!" Silco: "Deal's changed." Way too many people: "Really, was the couple of coins worth it?" Me: "HE LITERALLY JUST FINISHED SAYING THAT IT WASN'T THE PLAN." It's not even subtle that this wasn't his intention--even if his naivety caused it. How people ask for shows with complicated, mature themes while simultaneously breezing right past any amount of inflection or nuance presented is beyond me. This show's greatest strength is often the general audience's biggest weakness.
It doesn’t matter that Silco changed the plan. The problem is that Marcus made the deal with him in the first place. Especially since in Ep. 2 Marcus went on a rant about how all people in the underground are criminals and that there’s a crime behind every dollar that comes from Vander's bar. Quite hypocritical and stupid of him to then accept those same coins he was criticizing. But what's even more irritating is that even tho Silco Betrayed him and k*lled his partner, he continues working with Silco in future episodes.
@@RukiyaReacts There's a very notable reason for why he continues to work with Silco, but I suppose that depends on how far you've gotten. Disagree as I may, I do not intend to spoil. Marcus' "deal" was to go over Grayson's head to get Vander arrested, which everyone would agree was due to his previous demeanor, but it's also immediate that he realizes the mistake he made. Intent is supremely important--which is why it's the difference in manslaughter and murder. If you recall in Episode 3, he threw those coins to the grown immediately, hunched over in guilt at the unintended consequences born of his mistake. Marcus was arrogant and privileged, even hypocritical--but through his naivety we got to see that he was as shocked as anyone else. In fact, he's arguably the only one who didn't have previous dealings with Silco, which is why it was so easy to play right into his hand. The rest of Marcus' characterization will have to wait until you've completely seen the 1st season.
@@LockeNarshe I already filmed the reactions to season 1. So you don't have to worry about spoiling anything. Marcus didn't throw those coins to the ground in Ep.3. The coins fell out of the bag when Silco tossed the coin bag at him. And in later episodes, he continues taking the coins from dealings with Silco. So even though Marcus knows working with Silco is wrong, he continues anyways because he's a corrupt, hypocritical, coward. In my opinion, I think Marcus made that deal out of stupidity rather than naivety. It doesn't really matter that Marcus didn't have previous dealings with Silco. He knew Silco was from the undercity. And since he believed people from the undercity were criminals, it doesn't make logical sense for Marcus to then make a deal with the said criminal.
@@RukiyaReacts Alright, that's good to hear at least that I won't be spoiling, because there's a lot of context being missed in your argument that doesn't lend itself to much backing with in-series facts. I'd suggest re-watching the scene, as Marcus does indeed throw the coins down in the alley in Episode 3. Marcus tried to "get results" and get Vander arrested--unaware of why Grayson was giving Vander, and by proxy, the Lanes, leeway and trying to come up with alternative solutions. This stems from his lack of patience, understanding and most importantly--first-hand experience with past events like the original bridge massacre (that Grayson had). When Grayson is killed, Marcus, visibly outraged at Silco, chastises him and then, when tossed the bag of coins, shakes his head in anger, guilt and disgust, to throw the rest of it on the ground and remain hunched over in disbelief and defeat. Marcus shows guilt and regret at Grayson's funeral during his speech and his quiet moments with his daughter, Ren. Post-Grayson's funeral, Marcus constantly argues against Silco, challenging the notion of not going along with Silco's plans, constantly bouncing his leg in frustration with a scowl on his face. Silco says, "We've accomplished a lot together, Marcus. Sherriff." The next shot is a perspective-shot from behind Silco's hand where we can see Marcus 'in a box', summarizing his predicament with Silco calmly threatening, "I hope you can remain a part of it." Silco flat-out makes the comment, twice, that Marcus is faltering... it's why Marcus throws the shot glass (sitting next to a framed portrait Ren drew) across the room in anger, why he lies to Silco about what happened to Vi, why he sees himself in the mirror and slams down the sheriff badge angrily, why he can't truly pull the pin on the grenade despite wanting to, why he tries to make Caitlyn stay away from the investigation and why he struggles so adamantly right before his death not to shoot her. These are not the mannerisms of a man who is willingly going along with Silco's plans. In reference to why he "accepts" coins in further exchanges, Silco even points out that the money is a buyoff "for their families", meaning Silco's payouts are a small reprieve for the dead enforcers. Marcus isn't taking the money for himself as payment. He's guilt-stricken, which is also why he carries around a coin with Grayson's blood on it, frustrated by what happened to her and his inability to fill the void his actions left behind--as much as he's trying to do so. Much like Vander and Vi, Silco and Jinx, Marcus and Ren follow the same theme of "Is anything so undoing as a daughter?". No action he could have taken would have left Ren without a father or dead and there was clearly no mother in the picture. Do you believe Vander wouldn't have sacrificed his personal morals for Vi's safety? Because he did when he put back on the cast iron gauntlets to fight again on the bridge against Deckard to protect her, despite swearing never to do so again. How is Marcus' resistance against Silco in service of his daughter's safety that different? There's an incredible amount of inflection and heaps of characterization I feel like you're skipping out on for the sole purpose of judging him in a negative light because it suits your initial judgement--which is the entire point of it being necessary to pay attention to characterization, in life and in stories. That's what well-written, conflict-driven stories do, they challenge your perception and ask you to re-consider your stance. Whether or not you do is a personal choice based on circumstance and reflection, but you have to do so while considering all the facts, not just selective ones.
@@RukiyaReacts He was so focused on getting the kids that he made that deal, but it compromised him when his superior died, which Silco planned for-- he wanted an in with the enforcers but was not going to have a deal where he did not have control. Later Silco gets even better leverage.

arcane is one of the best shows ever, change my mind.
You spoke nothing but facts 💯👏🏾
@@RukiyaReacts exactly.
I love how you as the viewer also appreciated the camera angles and cinematography (“feels like you’re there”) Something that isn’t shown often in animated films
32:07 WHAT DO YOU MEAN “but still”, that was the most reasonable anime crashout ever, lil bro just murdered all her friends and their “dad”
I may not be a gamer, but animation never fails to impress me every time!! The characters & action shots! Powder being underestimated, I’m already rooting for her 👏🏼🎬❤️🔥
-Visuals are phenomenal well done
Agreed!!🔥❤️
*Internal screaming* I SO HAPPY YOU'RE REACTING TO THIS!!!!💜💜💜💜💜
0:13 your dog is so cute he’s like a little couch potato!
I've been binging arcane reactions and I love your editing style. 10/10 thanks
Strawberry Short Cake and Blueberry!!! Your nicknames feel so affectionate x'D
Love your commentary, and how you made enfaces in the camera movement (When Powder was falling) and how hard the impact of the punches felt :)
This was a wonderful reaction video I loved it
Thank you!!💖
So glad your reacting to this! It's a masterpiece! Keep up gurl!🥰🥰
this is the best animation like eveeeeerrrrrr. The emotional rollercoaster, the art, the writing. Every single aspect of it is perfection!!!!!!!!!!!!! And i am so glad that i was blessed with it. 10 years in the making? Thats...thats alot of time and dedication!
episode three made me cry. I didn't think they would d!e and six episodes later, i thought they were joking and i was waiting for the m to come back from the d3ad.
this reaction was so damn funny. i lost it when you described heimerdinger as a hampster lmaoo. subbed!
Haha, thank you! 😂🐹❤️
I am so hype you're watching arcane! I love this show and not enough people reacted to it. This is my first video of yours and I can't wait to see more! I love your edits. They had me rolling. 😆 PLEASE react to the rest of the series! I'm dying here for more people to watch it.
Hiii your my fav UA-camr ever
Hey!! I’m honoured 🥰✨
I just re-lived my first time watching this show with Rukiya. My eyes are bawling from the third episode 😭😭 I am so glad you finally started reacting to this show. It’s so emotional!! 😭😭😭
Love that you’re reacting to Arcane it’s amazing
Oh yessss!! Another Arcane reaction i can't wait to follow! So glad you are doing these in parts of 3 (which is kind of how Season 1 is written)!
I noticed that while editing haha. I was originally going to do ep. 1-4 in part 1, ep. 5-8 in part 2 and the finale in its own video. However the flow felt off😅 so I switched to 3 episodes per video.
And the ride just gets wilder from here. I mean, in a happy fun totally not traumatic way... And, OMG you are good at this. Loved the jokes, commentary, editing, all of it. Definitely will be checking out your other videos. Can't wait to see you watch the rest of this beautiful totally not tragic masterpiece. Subbed. Cheers!
When I saw that you were editing this reaction I could wait. Love your reactions. ❤️
You’re watching Arcane? Did not know I needed this. Thanks, beautiful. ❤
omg i’m so excited for you to watch the rest of the show it’s amazing i remember being obsessed with it last year
Bro I love jinx’s/powder’s relationship with Silco. Like yk Silco is bad but like you also know that Silco is gonna be like Powder’s new dad in the best ways possible
best way ? be fr silco was never ever good for her .
@@shayasims Sure he might not have been healthy for her- but he still really cared for Jinx
Bro I cannot tell u how excited I am😭 been waiting patiently for this, I could cry lol😂🙏🏽
I really like your reactions, they are well made. Even though you put 3 episodes into 30min I really enjoyed it with your editing :)
I´m also glad to see your reactions to little details that often get overlooked, like the one with Mel picking a birthday present for the councilor :D it flies over so many heads and here I´m sitting laughing my a** off at that scene xD
IM SOOO EXCITED FOR U TO SEE THE NEXT EPISODES OMGOGMGOGMOGMGOGM

0:07 Dogs are covered in fur so they can't regulate their body heat by sweating or opening capillaries like humans do, when they need to cool down they lie on something cold, we have a large marble fire surround and when my dogs are to warm they lie on the marble because it's always cold. Cats - being more active than dogs - have a faster metabolism and so require warmer temperatures, they tend to actively seek out warmer locations while dogs will move around from warm location to cool location depending on their need.
YESS IM SO GLAD YOU ARE REACTING TO IT YOU WILL LOVE IT BUT PREPARE TO CRY^_________^
I LOVE ARCANE SO MUCHH SO GLAD YOU WATCHED IT!!
This is what I’m talking ABOUT thank you for the reaction video ❤ ps I’ve never seen this before 😅 and I know what you are probably thinking: “How are you going to watch this video if you’ve never seen Arcane before”. Well, the show and the title looked EPIC so I thought to myself “There’s nothing wrong with a little sneak peek”. 👍🏻🤩
don't worry, it will still traumatize you watching it a second time. And a third time, and... Seriously, there is this one fight later on that just thinking about it makes me tear up. I mean, how? It is short. No dialogue. But... oh. my. freaking. goodness... :(
@@j.f.fisher5318 I wasn’t all that traumatized I was only a teensy bit scared at the beginning but it wasn’t all that traumatizing the intro and the title look epic and I am fine so woo hoo surviving the first episode of arcane🙃
Are you telegrams all just bots?
Yes, the telegrams are bots. I’ve been reporting and deleting them but it reappears in the comments each time I upload a video. So annoying!
absolutely love the parallel of vander holding silco by the chin and vi holding powder by the chin. Also how Silco looks at Vander when Powder says Vi left her!
Yes!! I missed that you posted this, but I’m here now 😁 so excited!!
Better late than never!❤️
Your the type of UA-camr that no one can ever get bored of and so entertaining. Stay positive ❤
The needle drop on "Under the Sea" was *chef's kiss*. Nicely done. I lol'd.
So looking forward to your Part 2 reaction!! Keep ‘em coming!
I hope when you watch this you notice the tiny details like the specific characters in the room. Usually depending on the person the lights in the background match the people in the area it makes everything look so cool :D
The way I just finished the show and came RUNNING to your channel bc I knew you reacted to it. I loooooved your reactions lol can't wait for you to watch season 2
i cant stop laughing at the smooth criminal edit to jayce 💀
19:44 "ok darth vader thats abit much" got me crying of laughter ngl 😭😭
OMG, I can't wait for you to do part two 😁 I officially love Arcane
to me vi’s reaction seems totally normal. her father and best friends were killed by her little sister (even though she wanted to help). now, do i think hitting powder was the right move? of course not. like you said, violence is never the answer, but her lashing out on powder like that just comes to show her real, raw emotions as a human being. she had pressure on her shoulders. she needed to free vander, while still taking care of her sister and brothers; it didn’t turn out like she wanted and needed it to, so she exploded. but yeah, i just wanted to show my personal perspective on her character. she’s a human, who got hurt, so she hurt back in the worse way possible. so.. yeah, i love her so much. :( (and i also adore powder with my whole heart
also, the whole soundtrack and animation of this series is a 10/10!!
I totally agree! Vi's reaction was understandable. I just wish it didn't happen because all it did was push Powder right into Silco's dirty paws 😭
If you didnt know, the opening was actually MADE for this show, and is now one of their most popular songs (as an arcane enjoyer it makes me proud)
lol. I love seeing you thirst over Jayce in Ep 2 when I haven't gotten to your reaction to the forge scene down the line.
Dw about references or anything like that as someone who’s never heard about league of legends before this show came out I understood everything 👍
No idea why I clicked on this reaction. Then in like the first minute of your into you proved to be literate and understand what "ignorant" means. I fall so hard for intelligence. Hooked before the reaction even started. Stay you always and be well girl. (you have a new fan) 😄
Awe thank you!!🫶
2:57 I actually can't believe they used my favorite song
I just love how heimdinger is the most handsome yordle in all the scenes
waah, you reacted to this my gosh I'm getting excited. This series was so good I can't wait for season 2 waaaaakkk. The episode 1 title has a song you should listen to it.
Slay queen: but you didn’t have to cut me off!
Can’t wait for you to watch more of this show, it’s a fantastic watch 😄 The first three episodes are intense! 😱
I’ve been like- binge watching ur reacting videos lolol. Glad ur watching arcane, loved that series

Pretty excited for this one omggg!!!
2:38-2:51 ikr!! I love the animation so much!! It’s so beautiful 💜💜💜💜🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Cannot wait for S2, I just hope it's as lovingly and painstakingly crafted as this was.
the little hamster guy btw is a another race in runeterra called a yordle. (Runeterra being the world this show takes place in. Yordles are beings that are pretty much immortal. Even if they were to "die" they would instead turn into pure magical energy and end up back in their home "bandle city"
I Love your vids tysm for spending your time to make us these vids😆
Thank you!! Glad you like them!❤️
fIrst time find you. Loved this. my only regret is that when I clicked into your channel I didn't have the whole series to watch. Nailed it.
Average Watcher: "Marcus is a jerk of a character."
--Silco Betrayal Happens--
Marcus, looking around in bewilderment, visibly outraged: "What the hell have you done? This wasn't the deal!"
Silco: "Deal's changed."
Way too many people: "Really, was the couple of coins worth it?"
Me: "HE LITERALLY JUST FINISHED SAYING THAT IT WASN'T THE PLAN."
It's not even subtle that this wasn't his intention--even if his naivety caused it.
