I've been liking Ritual Beast Zefras actually, it's pretty interesting how they interact with each other. The Zefra portion gives you another line to consider plus an omni negate to pair with steeds.
In a nutshell, it's too complicated
I didn't understand anything from the first duel I was like why you keep summoning the same monsters again and again bruh you are not in a maxx c challenge
If you know how to use it this deck can be one of the most busted decks in rhe game. But that's a big IF. Crystron I feel has the same problem
I used to play this in DL, I would say it's one of the hardest deck to play.

This deck has been 1 of my main stables for years now. The other being super quantums. In every Yu-Gi-Oh game. These are the first two decks I craft for. Super quantums and ritual beasts. I adore them both
I really don't mean to brag or anything. But you can't be a dumbass with this deck. It absolutely requires some form of brain power to be effective. Which is why pretty much nobody uses it. They would rather pilot braindead decks without punishing mistakes. Like eldlich and drytron. Despia and swordsoul. You get the idea. Of course ritual beasts is still no match for the meta though
I love these deck highlight videos, the tournaments are cool and all, but I hope more of these get sprinkled in, this is how I learn about the non-meta decks!
I love Ritual Beasts, they're a little too big brain for me but I love that they always have plays to make and I like their designs
i wanna try this deck cause i love them so much when i played DL. but im not really sure if i wanted to relive my biggest fear when i play this deck, lost to time limit lol
I love this deck and still use it but i thought it wasnt considered top tier since no one really plays it :/ theres a lot of synergy making for some big combos... which is why I love it a lot
Just because people don't use it doesn't mean you can't don't let meta 🐑 take you over ...
might be somewhat playable in the tcg atm cuz dimension shifter is a disgusting card, but the deck sucks ass if you don't open elder ngl
I mean its a decent rogue deck. Drytron isn't playd but is a top 5 deck in MD without a doubt.
sadly the deck is actually really bad,
i mained this deck in the tcg since duel terminal 2, like around 2014,
it suffers from lots of disruption,
if your opponent actually knows how to negate this deck, for example, they know how to called by the grave you, or what to actual imperm, or even solemn strike you, then you basicly instantly lose.
this deck has the exact same problem as magical muskets as well but even worse,
this deck has no high attack monsters and take forever to win a game, making games take excessively long even if you are winning, making this a horrible deck to ladder.
even altergeists win much faster (they can link climb to halq and borrosword and even memeorygeist or whatever to otk) and eldlich can summon liebe or the rank 10 to otk also eldlich has a massive attack.
notice how every game that dkayed showed they ether got dimension shifter or they bricked?
for example the sword soul bricked really hard and only got a single synchro, they actually did very good with that called by the grave, if they also had barrone or the water synchro ritual beast literally has no way to out any monster that can't be destroyed by battle, or by card effect,
for example like f0 utopic dragon or whatever. or chaos maxx, or the sword soul synchro
I used to play this deck in DL, it was one of my favorite decks after Crystron which i’ve got a 4-0 victory on “CBDL” tournament, and invoked which i performed the KC top 30.
i miss invoked, im playing an invoked utopia varient rn in master duel tho its pretty fun so far, playing around number 99 is the only annoying part because it limits me to summoning xyz mons.
I used to run it in DLs and to be honest I forgot the deck existed lmao. I've literally never seen ANYONE use it in MD
Cuz it's trash. Konami is just paying Dkayed to make them sell packs.
I was considering Ritual Beasts just because they're a Wind-based fusion archetype... Meaning they can play under Barrier Statue of Stormwinds. So I wouldn't have to worry about Floo the same way I worry with my usual decks.
OMG, my fav deck in DL, too. TY so much Dkayed and thumbs up to the builder.
As someone who played this deck unranked to plat (before diamond came out), it doesn't work half the time. A lot of hands can't put 2 monsters on the board, and therefore can't do anything. So it's basically just macro cosmos or D shifter and pass
Ironically d shifter pass used to be enough to win until floo came out
This is an honest description of what I know this deck is.
The truth most people will ignore and scroll past.
Pretty sure in that last replay, if Sprind was in the extra deck, they would’ve been able to bring that out to get rid of one of the Ritual Beast cards since the two that got brought back were special summoned that turn.
sadly most of these replays are cherry picked, dshifted basicly won both games.
this deck really needs more support
This deck was a rogue option back in the days pre-link era (competitive enough that it warranted Ulti-Cannahawk to get limited which basically gutted the deck as it now loses to Solemn). Then link monsters happened which caused a mess until they restructured the extra deck summon rules in Master Rule 5, but by that time, RB had already phased out. It's a pretty damn fun deck though.
2x the work for the same outcome seems to be the general consensus but play whatever you enjoy me I'm waiting for some new time theif and the new traptrix support to drop along with Labyrinth

Loving the negate moments on elder even in duel links. It just makes life easier lmao
mirrorjade has 2 effects.
-quick effect discard a fusion from the extra deck to banish a monster
-if mirrorjade leaves the field destroy all of the opponents monsters during the endphase
both can be chaned to however as long as a quick effect negate is available.

Ah Ritual Beast, I remember backed against the corner against them in DL, but I win due to the time limit. Really complicated deck.
I can't wait for the ritual beast support to come into MD. The new lara like winda is both a tamer and a beast. Inheritance acts like small world and has -200 atk reduction, finally nochiudrago summons itself by banishing from the GY
The problem with SB deck is the not really good to summon many monster for link boss monster (acces code, apolo), SB also not really good to summon syncro boss monster, and SB deck dont have negate to protect his trap from harpy and lightning storm. So it will be good if konami release SB counter trap with omni negate effect and have a way to recycle that trap (like salamangreat)
Emergency teleport from the time I play can help the deck search

The deck doesn't really do much without Elder and Cannahawk in your hand, but when it can go off its pretty decent.

I actually just made this deck and I love it. Got me to Gold 1, but I have accept that to play this game remotly casual to not enter the wolves den (plat) or the bear's cave (dia)... i'll soar in the skies with my Eagle bros

diamond is where the meta decks are at, im sorry but if this deck can't get to plat I wouldn't say its a good investment even for a rogue deck.
and this is coming from some one who owns this deck in real life.
ritual beasts NEED an actual negate, or an actual finisher that doesn't negate its own attack boosts, other wise they won't be able to get over anything that is immune to card effects.

its no longer the highest rank anymore

The problem is that elder continuous effect has the same animation that all activated eff that's why people are confused about it
@@4pfBulmond No it ain't . Bagooska and masq can be negated with Imperm. Elder doesn't get negated because the moment he was summoned, the effect went through. It's a very big difference.

I keep waiting for a review of rikka cards. I want to use it in master duel but there are some cards still missing for the archetype unfortunately when I see a video like this uploaded I always check to see if the rest of the cards were added.
When they get the rest of their support youll see them around alot more. Probably with sunavalon. I don't think dkayed would go deeper.
It can run D.shifter, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone will run it in the TCG lol
i tried it in the tcg, its pretty bad,
doesn't help cannahawlk was limited for years, a single solemn strike would basicly mean game over,
keep in mind that people in the tcg actually use battle traps, so far i've not seen many other players use them in master duel.
the solemn cards used to be a staple even in some combo decks.
this deck SERIOUSLY needs more support, konami needs to give this deck a counter trap to negate,
or give them an actual good fusion with high attack that can attack all monsters your opponent controls,
this would fix the deck, currently the deck has no fire power, its literally just stall stall stall every time
"monster was not special summoned correctly" also applies to cards like citadel or ruinforce if they are discarded by fortress but can still be summoned
Wait, huh? I just looked this up, and the "Must be special summoned by a card effect" clause on Citadel means it can be summoned from the GY, either by its own effect or by cards like Monster Reborn. Plus I've dumped Citadel to summon Fortress a couple times before, and I was still able to summon it from the GY thanks to Citadel's effect. Ruinforce meanwhile says "Must be special summoned (from your GY)", meaning it can be summoned if it gets sent via Fortress's summon requirement.

You should consider revisiting Valkyries, I think with the right balance of archetype specific cards and hand traps it could make a resurgence
I spend so much valkyries. But after the vfd ban, they have just no hope i swear.

@@bobjoe2955 True King all calamities, rank 9 xyz. That card carried Valkyrie deck a quite while, but it get banned and now Valkyries are so bad. They need a new support i swear. And they are so expensive deck.

I play it every new season, but it's to soft and not consist enough. It's a fun deck to play but will barely make it to Plat. The major up side to the deck is most people don't now how to play against it, but if they do it's not hard to run over.

The more I play the more I try to find cards ro play through negates. I'm kinda waiting for them to switch the meta it gets frustrating trying to play all these great decks, but because of negates most cards feel like they shouldn't exist because is doesn't make sense to play most in any situation.

Wynn and Winda teaming up is amusing at least.
Meta chasers like playing low effort win decks because those can climb ladder faster even if their success rate overall is lower, letting them get gems to build their meme projects with more quickly. And there are plenty of good decks like Swordsoul that can win quickly and almost mindlessly when they hit their ideal conditions, which is easy to do.
I'm tempted to go back to playing Despia since I haven't in a while, but I don't expect to get any good games against anybody if I do since everyone's either playing it, building to directly beat it, or scooping before I get to do anything fun with it.

Meta chasers. Want more complex high skill monkies be gone gameplay. Meta players don't like floow numeron eld crusadia etc. We want to interact more and make any game winnable depending on your decision making instead of sacky draw. MD doesn't support that at all

Their only disruption is a destruction effect? A lot of decks have indestructible cards. Or pray for the D shifter in opening hand

Hey DK and friends, new to MD and racked up about 7.5k gems and feel overwhelmed as far as what to spend em on. Any tips for the best bang for my bucks or best deck to build with that many gems?
Are you into Meta decks or Pure archetype decks? Right now the selection pack has branded support, and if you roll for despia cards you can make Branded Despians, which is damn near the current meta. Or Swordsoul.

Because i dont waste my time doing a 4 min combo while i can play something like branded and swordsoul which doesnt take decade from my life to end on similar end results if not better
Okay I feel this needs an edit i dont play neither swordsoul or branded infact i play td and tri brigade alongside other stuff main problem is howlong the deck take to set final board while other decks manage to do similar feats with less time consuming

Probably because much skill is required to play RB...
I played RB when they first came out: the deck is brain dead af and still is lol. The loop is so easy to do as long you know how to read
It doesn't take alot of skill, no deck really does. It just takes you remembering your steps and reading. Its reputation is alot more intimidating than it actually is to play it

Well basically the reason why people don't use it is because it's complicated and a lot of people like the easy bread and butter combos to win matches but you do have some people that are influenced by your gameplay so you might see it being used often now because you talked about it.
Idk much about this deck but, one thing i know is: READ THE DAMN CARDS.
Why people trying to negate something give you 2 normal/set summon, once that card get on the field is "automatically" gives you a additional normal/set summon.
Please yu-gi-oh players, read.
This kind of deck really exhaust and drag the play, like weather deck and floowanderies, and it annoys your opponent.

So pretty much the only time this deck wins is when your opponent does stupid negates? It seems like if the opponent actually used their negates the way the should this deck wouldn’t be able to play around it.

This deck is pretty insane but I just don't care for the flow of the deck. Its a very sweaty deck
Same can be said for DDD, get past the bottleneck of Gilgamesh and you should win.
