Back in 1976 used to pre deliver and service the HX range from Belmont to Statesman and Utes to Panelvans. Great times back then and sad to see the way Detroit decided to end manufacturing in Australia.
I've always liked utility vehicles. Whether it's used for business, personal, or pleasure, it needs to be rugged enough to withstand whatever you use it for. If it doesn't, it's crap.
Ahh the memories of working on these when I was an apprentice, they were so simple and near bullet proof, we even had some dual axle converted ones
