This was on of the most interesting storage unit videos we have ever done! Please let us know if you enjoyed the format! Put a lot of time and money into this one! Should we do something similar again? Let us know!
I would love to see you guys go to all 50 states and buy storage units like do a tour or something like that? Like this comment if you agree lets try and get 4k likes on this comment
Two updates instead of reponding to a ton of comments. 1. No, there were no concert tees in the suitcase unfortunately. 2. To the Karens complaining about us filming a clip while driving. The van had self steering and can drive itself, plus it was a 10 second clip. So take your negativity elsewhere
Jethro Tull was a group popular in 1970's, known for songs such as "Thick as a brick" "Locomotive breath" and "Aqualung". Also known for their flute playing lead singer Ian Anderson.
The albums are a huge score. Lots of fantastic vintage artists and bands Grateful Dead, Jethro Tull, Eric Clapton, Every record you pulled out was vintage gold. All the music stuff should be carefully checked. You definitely scored on both units. Would love to see a follow-up on actual value after research is done.
Those records are from the 60’s 70’s and 80’s so they are older than you but are the best music ever made. Eric Clapton, REO Speedwagon,ZZTop, Jethro Tull were all great and as far as I’m concerned still are. But then I grew up listening to all of them. Btw I’m 67 years old.
At 58:00 you found the Zildjian cymbals. They are good cymbals and can be quite expensive. Lots of professional drummers use Zildjian cymbals. (pronounced Zild-jan) The company has been around for hundreds of years since 1623. Originally from Constantinople they are now in Massachusetts. The drum sets could be anywhere from $1000 and up. The vinyl records made my mouth water. Those are from my era. Yes, I'm old! This was a great unit. You have a lot of work to do. If I was close I would love to research the albums. Please don't sell them before you research them, along with those drumkits, cymbals and the other music stuff. You could be sitting on a old mine. Thanks for the video! 😁✌💰🎶
I think that the Ludwigs were a set of Rockers from the '80s. I think I saw a black and white badge on them but he needs to find the rims and tension rods. I have the 20" Zildjian ride that I bought in the late '70s that I still use it.
The poorest one was the best one. Might not been everyone cup of tea. However I thought it was great. Quite plus nice view good food. Thanks for taking us along. Have a blessed day.
I know! But then again I am old😁 When he was looking thru the vinyl records and didn't know who Jethro Tull, King Crimson and Ted Nugent were, plus the box of records, I felt a little sad. Steven and Amber need to learn a little about classic rock music. Some of those albums could be worth some good money. Even the artwork on the sleeves can have value. Some of the artists have become famous and those covers are great. Oh well, time passes quickly and the things of our youth become out dated. They should also do some research about the magazines. Even they often say "those were the days" when going thru some units.
Pay attention to the Legos. I spent the summer putting together my son’s vintage Legos and have made HUNDREDS of dollars. Avoid selling them by the pound until the very end.
From what the "rich" unit has unearthed thus far, my best guess on what's on the VHS tapes are VOIOs (videos of illegitimate origin - aka bootlegs) of Grateful Dead/other concerts. King Crimson is an amazing band, btw. The unit owner had good taste!
Great concept for videos. I like it! That cabin was out of sight! You know what would be neat, if you did the spreadsheet on these units to compare all of it. You expenses, including Air B and B vs earnings from YT and What Not.
@@vinyl1Earthlink they might have had someone but that was a lot of junk in there so i doubt they would have bid on it 😂 there was another one that ended at the same time that got up to $850. It’s just an expensive storage unit area for us here
Holy Jebus! My 7 yr old screamed at all the Star Wars Lego :) He wants some for Christmas but told him he can only have 1 thing because it's so expensive and when you opened the boxes he was naming all the things he saw :) He said you should put it all together and display it nicely on shelves
You might be surprised at how much some of the music VHS tapes would sell for or the books. My brother in law is a 'Dead Head' (fan of the Grateful Dead) and has a lot of this stuff.
Really happy to see you and the family doing so well, The trip with you since the early days of this channel has been amazing loved every second thank you
The Ludwig drum set is a great brand. Depending on how old it is, it might be valuable. In general, the money is in the snare drum and the cymbals. The Zildjian cymbals should be worth a few 100 each. If you look for markings, B20 is what you want. A lot of the cheaper ones are B8 (I couldn't see it very well, but the Sabian one might be a B8) The number refers to the % of tin in the cymbal. More tin=more value. B20s are hand hammered, while the lower % ones are machine made, so that drives up the price. The clear, shallow set of three toms are Remo rototoms. With a stand they sell for $400 new. The names you mentioned on the other toms, like Evans and Remo, those are names of the drum heads manufactirer, not the drum themselves. Probably all the black ones are part of the Ludwig set. Decent kit, but probably not too expensive. Definitely check out the two snare drums, though. I think the first one was part of the black kit, but the one in the back is either a steel one or a more expensive model.
I loved the format! You should do more like this. I did not think the rich side was going to make it but the drums and albums saved you. And I had a good laugh when you pulled out the book and said oh it’s some musician… I was like ITS ERIC CLAPTON… YOU DONT KNOW WHO ERIC CLAPTON IS!? ERIC CLAPTON! 🤣 The doc did have a great music collection from what y’all showed.
I near died when you pulled out that box of The Walking Dead stuff. Yup..I am one of those die hard fans that you speak of! Looks like they were going to be building the prison. I love The Walking Dead! Been watching every series since October 2010.
I love this unique video concept! It is definitely entertaining to watch! I do equally love and prefer countryside living over city living any day of week after living both ways since my own 1970s childhood days!
I, too, was born and lived most of my life inside the beltway in VA., Falls Church City, Arlington and Alexandria City. When I retired, I bugged out to Norfolk due to the congestion everywhere! Likewise, I also don't go back as it's crazy frustrating driving there. PS, WOW, Y'all really got lucky in Roanoke. Have fun and stay safe.
You have probably already found out, but the item that you thought might have a miniature sewing machine in it is actually just sewing supplies. I ha e one of these, just a bit smaller. Slide the red tabs on the top to unlock it.
You are such a goob, and love your comedic style. Don’t belittle those records, some have value, sell as a box for 50,100 Love you all, just wish you would wear gloves! Much hugs and love to all!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Good idea comparing units from different cities! This first one is fantastic! All the stuff that rings your bell. Except maybe shoes. I have a feeling those LEGOS will bring you some serious $$$. The second unit was interesting with the musical instruments, but it didn’t thrill you like the first one! Fun experiment
I’m sorry, but I had to laugh about you and the 2nd unit. It’s common for professionals to be very into music, so it didn’t surprise me that they were a Pharmacist. You were holding the snare drum upside down. The drum with the wires across, is a snare. The wires go across the bottom. I’d love for you to research who owned it and if he was in a band. Percussionists (people who play drums) are an interesting lot. My husband is a symphony orchestra percussionist. Zildjian and Meinl cymbals are both good brands, but it depends on what they sound like. There are musical instrument stores that buy used instruments. You might learn or be able to sell without you having to ship. The set of 3 drums, are called timbales. Enough about the drums, but you may have money there depending on brand, models and condition. The records, cassette tapes that aren’t burned and CDs, brings me to a totally different animal. You really know nothing about music. Especially music from the 70s when I was a teenager. It was a fabulous. There was there was great musicians in every genre, you do have some really good stuff there. Just like there are used book stores, and used musical instrument stores, there are used music stores. Some may be interesting to them.
And you missed out without having music blaring to annoy your parents. I’m sure there were other things like gaming, but there is nothing better than a parent yelling I can’t even tell what the hell they’re singing. Priceless!
Really enjoyed the comparisons. First unit was more interesting than the second. The trip through the mountains was wonderful. Thank you Jebus family ❤from Texas
I get recorded cassette tapes all the time and I just lot them up and they sell VERY quickly! Usually between 25 cents up to a buck each depending on the quality of the cassette.
😂😂😂 your reaction to the list price of $200 was priceless!! I wanna watch that over and over. Ive been laughing for five minutes straight. You are so entertaining and im thankful to learn so much from your adventures. ❤
At the end of the video, the three drums were a set of roto-Tom’s. You could hit the drum then rotate it and it would change pitch. In the early 90’s they were the cats meow.
I see that everyone has already spoke on the cymbals, so my input is that Zildjian is probably the best made. My step son majored music and plays about any instrument but his favorite was the drums. Some Zildjian cymbals can go from a couple of hundred the thousands. Evans is not the brand of drum kit, they make the heads. Drum brand would be like Pearl, Ludwig, or Drum Workshop (DW). Remo rototoms used set with stand (I'm sure you have the stand) sold last week on Ebay for 250.00. Seriously the drums in that unit alone could be 10k or more in value, I would love to hear what the brand of that front kit was.
So far, at 23:47, I'm enjoying this format. Something I'd really like is to see is about the profit. I'd love to see how the funco stuff did, and the Legos too. Could you set up a camera on a tripod to record the auctions?
Don't be afraid of the flash drives. I am a very small time locker buyer, and early on I took one of the low end laptops I found in a locker that isn't worth much, and reset it and use it to check flash drives, I don't even have connected to the internet, I also have a program on it that will undelete the files.
This was so awesome - really think you should take this show on the road - you could do richest / poorest in Maryland, PA, WV, NC and the sky’s the limit from there !!! Air B&B is your friend - would love to see the analytics from these unit videos - best they really did well. I mean the Pew Pew units will always be number one but I really enjoyed the idea from the get go on this and really looked forward to watching and I know it was a longer video that you normally do but it really held my attention the entire time. Thanks for Sharing - the Jebus, Amber and Broly Bear w/ a little Baby Jebus thrown in for the win !!!
Loved both units, but the one with the records of my youth and teens was my fav because of the records. Def do research on those records some may be worth a ton!
I liked the concept, but i can tell you as a owner of a 20 x 10 unit , we use a unit out in the countryside rather then near by city units , the reasoning for this is that it actually has outdoor storage for rvs and boat as well as staff that lives on site something you dont get in the city , so you can't ŕeally judge a unit by location . If a site store's RVs and boats the owners are likely to also store there goods out there as well
That drum kit and especially the cymbals pretty much makes up your purchase cost. The congas from LP are about $600 each new. And the albums! I own some of those, and that is a very hot market these days especially in good condition. Recommend getting someone who sells them to give you a bulk price - they should know the worth. Musicians tend to treat their albums well, so they shouldn't be scratched up and worn down too badly. The cassettes that were recorded at home actually do have value. Not for the music on them, but for the tape itself. Not a lot, but worth something (and oddly cassettes are making a comeback with some audiophiles). The Lego kits can be worth a LOT. They aren't cheap to buy new, and some have likely been discontinued. If you have the complete kit = bonus!
Ahhh, you were in Roanoke😭 I live in Vinton and know exactly where a bunch of the places you drove past are located (sadly even the houses I can name the streets they are on)
Love you guys this video the hour-long one are great .I would double check the t-shirts maybe they are band T-shirts concert t-shirts could be money....❤
I live in Chicago NW suburbs and that traffic is very familiar. We also live midway between the very rich and the very poor, so i completely relate to this video.
Hi Amber, Steven and gorgeous Broly bear. Both great units so a win win. The first one certainly more shippable items, although the 2nd unit had all those albums, so depends on the more valuable ones. Accommodation wise first one was the winner. Yes would love to see more like this video. Blessings.
Such a cool video. I usually don’t like long videos but you guys are so entertaining. The first unit was definitely the best. Hope you enjoyed your trip. ❤️❤️
Jebus I worked with a deadhead for 20 years. They do tape concerts, because the line up of songs is different at every show. And they sell them to each other. Give it a try on auction.
I couldn't tell what the model of Ludwigs were that were in the back. I think I saw a black and white badge which would make them a set of 'Rockers' from the early-mid '80s. I think the set in the front was a lower end of Taiwanese drums. The congas were LPs but in bad shape. He'll need to find the bottom rims and tension rods for the Ludwigs. Still good finds though. Probably at least 500.00 for the cymbals, probably more. That rock ride is probably 45 years old.
Definitely need an update on the musicians locker.. There is much more value in there then you think 100% Even if this musician was in a semi famous band look for demo tapes from bands worth lots of money!
Jebus, you need to check all those cassettes..."DICKS PICKS" EVERY DEADHEAD LOVES THOSE CASSETTES . THOSE ARE ACTUAL RECORDINGS OF ENTIRE CONCERTS AND THE DATES AND PLACES MAKE THEM VALUABLE ...EXTREMELY VALUABLE ...WHATEVER YOU DO ...DO NOT THINK THAT THEY ARE NOT VALUABLE ...YOU MAY VERY WELL HAVE FOUND UNKOWN PICASSO'S. BOTTOCELLI'S OR DAVINCI'S...
Maybe you can go online, and get construction instructions, for the lego's, and sell them complete after you build. Ebay prices are very high for completed legos.
I cannot believe those Butthole Surfers posters! Omg if only I had saved all my memorabilia. I have been listening to them since I was 12! I’m 48. So man so much good music in that unit. I can’t get over it.
Some of those mini Lego figures sell for big money. A lot of about 12 Star Wars ones sold for over $2000 in August and a lot of 6 green army men with some accessories sold for $3500 in September.
You guys are working so hard ❤ take time to smell the flowers 💐 nice little road trip! Broly looks amazing. So are you waiting til he turns one so you can give him a little sibling ?

@TreasureHuntingWithJebus fyi some lego Minifigures can go for hundreds or thousands of dollars. Worth looking them up. Just a tip.
Check the books as I saw a Stan Lee hard book could be worth checking good luck. Cheers Debbie Shaw UK

We had so much fun making this one, it was a blast!
Loved both units, but the one with the records of my youth and teens was my fav because of the records. Def do research on those records some may be worth a ton!
I understand your frustration with Nova but I came from Wisconsin at 16 and lived in nova for nearly 16 years. I do like living there. 😊
Cymbals are expensive, good find
dude those albums are Classic rock gold
I love when u scan.
If a site store's RVs and boats the owners are likely to also store there goods out there as well
HEY, some Grateful Dead bootleg cassettes can be worth serious money. Don't just throw out those cassettes.
Omg, On A Pale Horse one of my favorite books in my favorite series The Incarnations of Immortality by Piers Anthony.
Great video. I like the way it is done. Different is good😊
That drum kit and especially the cymbals pretty much makes up your purchase cost.
Thanks for the heads up on the music gear! I'll definitely look into that.
Tapping on the bottom of all the drums is just amazing showmanship of musical miss. Lol
Ahhh, you were in Roanoke😭 I live in Vinton and know exactly where a bunch of the places you drove past are located (sadly even the houses I can name the streets they are on)
I liked the second unit cuz i'm into playing music ! No bongs for me though , just bongos ! Thanks Jebus & family !
This was a GREAT unit! So happy you/we got to explore it!
This video was great! You got a lot of great stuff!!! I had pen to love The Walking Dead series and spin-offs! I hope it is worth a lot for you!
That drum set is worth some money. Those symbols are high-quality. You definitely got a musicians locker.
The cassettes are worth their weight in gold! They have a collector's market. I didn't know either until recently.
Hi Amber, Steven and gorgeous Broly bear. Both great units so a win win. The first one certainly more shippable items, although the 2nd unit had all those albums, so depends on the more valuable ones. Accommodation wise first one was the winner. Yes would love to see more like this video. Blessings.
I USED TO BE WITH A BAND. IF I WERE YOU, I'D CHECK OUT THE PAGES OF THE BOOKS, WHICH WE HAD TO PUT OUR MONEY IN WHILE WE WERE ON STAGE!! GOOD LUCK.
you calling Eric Clapton "some sort of musician" is hilalious
thank you this was a well put together video. Hello from arizona.... Have a great day!!!!
Such a cool video. I usually don’t like long videos but you guys are so entertaining. The first unit was definitely the best. Hope you enjoyed your trip. ❤️❤️
There were so many iconic bands and artists. I forgive you for not being wowed about all the Grateful Dead stuff.
Great video, as always, guys!
Hope you do more in this format. Such an interesting comparison.
Think you might’ve hit the Nerd Vana Jackpot! Lol Frank Zappa actually wrote a song “ Don’t eat the yellow snow “! Lol
Jebus I worked with a deadhead for 20 years. They do tape concerts, because the line up of songs is different at every show. And they sell them to each other. Give it a try on auction.
Evans is the make of the drum heads, can't see the drum kit brand, the congas on the stand are worth around 100,drum kit around 300 dollars
There is much more value in there then you think 100%
Even if this musician was in a semi famous band look for demo tapes from bands worth lots of money!
That guy was a huge Greatful Dead fan, those records should pay for your unit
Ok I wrote a comment about that too. Deadheads are SERIOUS!!!!
Loved the video ! ! What a thing to think of. COME ON PEOPLE SUBSCRIBE. I am 64 yrs old and love these kids.
1:38 I think this AirBnB was better than the 2nd one.... any where near the mountains or country side.
Some of those mini Lego figures sell for big money. A lot of about 12 Star Wars ones sold for over $2000 in August and a lot of 6 green army men with some accessories sold for $3500 in September.
Just started and LOVING the concept
You guys are working so hard ❤ take time to smell the flowers 💐 nice little road trip! Broly looks amazing. So are you waiting til he turns one so you can give him a little sibling ?
The Remo drums are called Rototoms. Good model, good brand. Around $ 200
