I lived this exact situation. She endangered our lives and completely ruined our happiness. I went 100% no contact for 4 years. God led me to do it, it couldn't go on anymore, I wasn't put on this Earth to be tortured by her. That no contact forced her to change and she did. I forgave her, chalking it up to her undiagnosed mental illness was the only way I could forgive her because she truly tortured me my whole life. She was a raging alcoholic and molested my little brother, he drank himself to death at a young age. And by the way she was a Deaconess in her Lutheran Church while being evil to her family. Anyway, that last year of her life she changed after the 4 years of no contact. So yes, God lead me through the whole thing so that when she died 2 years ago at 81, I had no regrets at how I managed it. That is a miracle God did.

@@aheartonfire7191 and by that logic God predestined the molestation of the brother. I believe in both predestination and free will, but I think too much is made of predestination by folks who live in that camp. There are two sides to that coin. My mother was mentally unstable and she murdered my twin baby sisters that were 5 months old... simply because she could not get them to stop crying. They were probably just hungry . My other brothers and sisters saw this and they all eventually committed suicide. By the time I was growing up they were all gone and so when she had threatened to kill me I ran away and she never reported me missing. I was a victim of sex trafficking for 14 months. When I finally came home we never talked about it for the next 24 years that she was alive. I was a homeless suicidal drug addicted gay prostitute that had four multiple personality disorders until the age of 50 but then Jesus healed me in just one day. Now for over 5 years I have never been angry, had a perverted thought, felt guilt shame or insecurity, and I've been able to forgive everyone. It only takes one day to listen to the entire New Testament Bible. Push play and let the truth set you free!
May God have mercy and may He bless your life abundantly. Perverted thoughts are something I struggle with, as a 3 month old Christian. They are getting better , but still a struggle. What a wonderful testimony. All glory to God! What a loving God we serve ❤blessed is His name
Yeah...not to listen to it. If the gossiper have an issue with another, tell him/her to go directly to the person involved to resolve the issue. Gossip is a sin. It brings defamation, accusation to another. Accusation is Satan's nature which God's people should not serve.
I need to be reminded of that a lot. This isn’t ‘juicy info’, it’s an opportunity to present the gospel and take care of our fellow human beings. I’m drawn to the sin of gossip but pray against it.
i have toxic people in my family I learn to cut ties now because i need it for me to heal from the past the emotional abuse physical abuse but im doing it for me but will pray for them and still love them
Yes. There’s a time when you need to cut ties with people. There’s some extreme situations where people where molested by family or relatives. A Christian should not let that slide in twenty years and have a Thanksgiving Dinner together. This isn’t popular “Christianity” but it is biblical Christianity. If they want help and ask for forgiveness then forgive them and help them. But be careful. Protect your children. Great work, Pastor Tim.
I liked how Tim used Corinthians (saving your spouse) to apply to family members too. I never thought of it that way, but I think that is a perfect application for this situation. 👌
This was helpful to me brother ! It would have been nice to have had a dad like you with this kind of godly wisdom during the many trials of life . Of course we have our Heavenly Father do we not ? SDG
As adults, many of us give all the power to man’s labels (diagnoses) and little to no power to their Maker. The Bible says that we who imitate Christ have the same power who raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwelling in us. How many of us believe that? Much faith in man’s giants and little faith in God.
This was very helpful & enlightening. Thank you Pastor for sharing your experiences and for your frankness & honesty. I’m trying to gain insight, I was the parent deemed toxic. Not for abuse or substance issues, but struggled with depression & being over medicated. Eventually I found a Dr by GOD’s providence that understood too much of wrong meds for wrong diagnosis were my problems. I got complete healing & med free praise the LORD. My daughter has never acknowledged this healing & after over 10 yrs still shuns me & I have barely any phone contact none in person with her & grandchildren despite years of no issues as a fully productive Christian attempts to reconcile & restore as the Word calls us to. I pray for her a professing Christian & healing of her heart to soften & our relationship. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🕊Seeking Jesus I will never give up on her. 🙌🏼🔥
Love this channel especially the one with Paul Washer. He utterly preaches according to the Word, "no putting icing on the cake". Very very few preacher is that bold in the word of God. Pastor Tim, preach it. Not many God's people know how to apply the word of God into their lives. We are to be doer of the Word not hearer only; receiving the light but put it under the bushel.
I appreciate this wisdom. My whole family is Mormon except me, and my brother is gay. My mother is fully sympathetic and supportive of him in this identity, and is angry with me for believing that homosexuality is a sin. There's a lot of tension going on. I always plan to honor my mother as long as it goes along with God's word. Thanks so much. I needed the reminder.

I was just studying about our Father’s Will and how Jesus was faced with making on the moment judgment calls. Like when his mother wanted him to make wine, or when the mother pursued Jesus for healing for her daughter. Timely.
Listen up. I couldn't get the answer in this 47 minute video. But I'll tell you in this 30 seconds read. Jesus said, blessed are the peace makers. What are we to do than to break contact with people who are committed to misunderstanding you? Who wants to keep fighting you? Break communication. Break contact and focus on Christ. Is that not making peace? He said whoever chooses mother, father, brother, sister above Me is not worthy of Me. Why stay in that cesspool of hatred and iniquity while you can find freedom in Christ. Once you comprehend this, you'll understand.
Look..do not endanger your own children.Done. Finished. How long will you keep the curse alive? AND.. you can honor a parent from a distance. Sometimes it's the only way to honor them. And sorry, but no calls. Send cards- with a p.o.box so they can send whtever they want there. It's not selfish, its learning. I'm sure alot of you know what these types of people can do when you give them an ear. YOUR CHILDREN..YOUR CHILDREN.Maybe if it were just you..I wldnt say a word. But it is not! Respect a child's right to healthy, not poisonous thinking or behaviour. These people get worse w age..1 more time.. YOUR CHILDREN. Your kids will be poisoned if they see their own parent being treated like crap. When you take a negative experience from her with you (cuz you are human) to your home..it WILL seep out. Do not give them your ear. That alone can give evil or Satan a smirk and a giggle. Its a way to get under your skin. SAY NO. NO..your kids first.
My wife's niece tried to break up her father's marriage to her stepmother, now she has made me and my wife/her aunt her next target. She is 38 and an alcoholic. She has never had a viable relationship with any man. I shared the Gospel with her, and she said "Are you talking about Jesus?" and I said "Yes, I am". She replied "You know Mary had sex with a Roman soldier and that is how Jesus was conceived". I felt a chill come over me as she got up and walked away. My wife tried to share the Gospel with her and she just got up and left. Now me and my wife are struggling a bit, and my wife made the mistake of confiding in her, and now my wife has stopped going to church and told me not to share the Gospel with our relatives???? I think that my niece has had a demonic manifestation and will destroy my wife and our marriage. I told my wife she has no place in our life until she changes. My wife agreed, but has not stopped talking with her.
Good question. Today in this generation as in the days of Jesus, I say an emphatic yes. Even Jesus stayed away from toxic individuals. However, because his mission was to do His Father's Will he faced toxicity face to face. He in fact came to divide. Nevertheless, yes, stay away from toxic people.
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Do you think I came to bring peace? I did not come to bring peace but a sword. Matthew 10:34 In this verse, Jesus is referring to the idea that his message will cause division, separating the world into those who believe in him and those who do not. This division can lead to conflict, as those who reject Jesus may turn against those who believe, including family members.
Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

@@ellelane3213 As in, not everything in creation reveals God's glory, for example you can't say that Yahweh is a God of death just because death exists for example?
From what I've read and understand there are definitive situations where God has said not to be in communion with such individuals, one such verse is (and I believe this applies to scoffers as well): *Titus **3:10**-11 (nkjv)* _10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned._ *(See Below Please If You Are Willing)* Where some Christians take it to the extreme is with marriage, and concerning the verse: *2 Corinthians 6:14 (nkjv)* _14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?_ I don't believe the above verse is a reference to marriage, but concerns what company we keep. Are we hanging around the wrong crowd who are engaged in things contrary to the Biblical principles of which we profess? *1 Corinthians 7:14 (nkjv)* _14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy._ It was said to me in a comment: _"This is for people who are already married!"_ Well, that's a given, because God will never sanctify such a relationship between two people, unless you are married, regardless at what point you have come to Christ, before or after, also considering how many video's there are titled "Why I left Christianity". Note to self: Before a "Christian" refuses to marry a "sinner", must ensure he, himself is a Christian! *1 Corinthians 7:16 (nkjv)* _16 For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?_ Christians say do not marry unbelievers, while unbelievers are within our very households, so how do reconcile that, I mean, are we not the Bride of Christ? God knew us from the foundations of the world, while we were yet, still in sin. *Hebrews 13:4 (nkjv)* _4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge._ My dad was a preacher, and he was not unequally yoked, when he married my mom who was a Roman Catholic. My dad's faith was greater than my mom's faith in Catholicism, and through the Word of God, she now puts her complete faith in the finished work of Christ upon the Cross, but according to how people are defining "unequally yoked", where would my mom be if my dad were to say, "Sorry, I can only marry true Christians!" Here's the key: Someone who truly hates God, would never marry a Christian, and if two people having two different beliefs are willing to dedicate their lives to one another, I'd call that love. *Romans 13:10 (nkjv)* _10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law._ Therefore, the unbeliever is sanctified by the Believer, so that their offspring will not be "unclean". Take note, that the Bible only allows divorce due to sexual immorality, or if the "unbeliever" leaves the "Believer", I do not think this operates in reverse. *1 Corinthians 7:15 (nkjv)* _15 But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace._ CONCLUSION I pray my interpretation is correct, and that I am not deceiving myself, as I have no desire to spread a contrary Gospel, than that which was preached by the Disciples... If my dad's faith would have been weaker than my mom's, he could have ended up Catholic. THAT'S what I believe "unequally yoked" is referring to. Having the Holy Spirit dwelling within, enough faith in God, and knowledge of His Word that you are leading people to Christ, rather than being converted by them, away from Christ.
I listen to Conway an I'll be Honest a lot, and find it to be nourishing and upbuilding. But I was surprised over this one. Maybe he got caught up in the lady's diagnose. It's like the daughters fear for her and her kids lives didn't really get to him. Many people don't understand what toxic in these settings really means. It often means lifethreatening and very damaging both physically and emotionally. If it was the lady's sickness that made her destructive/dangerous - it would be concidered as phsycotic, and she would be admitted to hospital. But she is not. I'm not making a conclusion in this case. But there are times you have to ask if it is not just the diagnose, but also a asocial personality disorder. I know people hiding and legalizing physical and emotional abuse behind a diagnose. Leaving close ones paralyzed and in guilt. And the result; they get manipulated around, broken to the point that they can't cope at work or private. It's a parasittoses. The abusive person calls all the shots, the only way that is accepted is their way. They suck the life out of the wictims. I'm just asking here: is, in this case the mother the one who is breaking/ruining the relationship? Who is destroying the possibility for a healthy and sound relationship? I wonder if the mother ever has apologized for her behavior. And who is the one expressing pain/guilt? What is it to honor and show respect? "Allowing" damaging behavior? What about 2. Thess. 3.14. Could that make a person like this think of who and what she are? Again, not concuding here. But for me it's a big difference between psycological sicness (if that is what you call it in English) and to be toxic. It's two different things, though some who struggle mentally can also be toxic. Whatever it is in this case, I pray for the lady who fears for her and her kids lives. 🙏❤️🙏

A friend of mine has even tried to bring him to Jesus Christ, but to no avail. I am a Messianic Jew. Not really sure what will become our relationship. There are many other things that he has done, and has broken God’s laws. I guess, I can pray for him and hope he will change.

also: cut the Satan off, and nurture you Godly family. or just let the Satan torture you, the Satan doesn't get saved (because they're a reprobate), and you die being drained and tortured by Satan. The option one is Godly, the option two is foolery.
Our situation is a little different. My mother-in-law was ultimately excommunicated from the church where we are also members. She refuses to repent of the sins and take proper steps toward reconciliation. We have been counseled by our elders that there is freedom to engage or not engage. However, based on 1 Corinthians 5, it seems to me that it is proper to not associate with her, especially considering we have children and don’t want them to be subjected to the same sinful and manipulative behavior. This also occurred after several years of walking with her, giving her truth, allowing her to witness our life, etc. Thoughts, anyone?
What if your mother is disrespectful, cruel unforgiving and a Jehovah Witness? My mom refers to Christians as satanic derelicts abd she is always telling me how wrong I am for believing that Jesus is Lord. How do I honor that?
What if the husband is a professing Christian with a calling? The life does not match at home with his family and wife? And is self serving? What shall a wife do in this case? Please share your biblical view. Thanks
By their fruits you will know them. Be doers of the word not just hearers. If anyone does not provide for their family is worse than an unbeliever. Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and died for her.

There is a lot of unknowns here but I think if you are a minor you are compelled to live with them in a way that makes for peace. They may be toxic because of many reasons. But you can show love best by loving Jesus and obeying His leading in this. Have you asked the God who created all things for help with this issue? Start there.

John 3:36 PLS CALL UPON JESUS THE MESSIAH SAVIOR THE LORD OF LORDS
Any christian who calls another human being 'toxic', I can't take seriously. Jesus could call you toxic, but he didn't. We are all wonderfully and fearfully made. Let's start by looking at each other this way.
There are even certain verses where Paul says let people who try and draw you away from your faith be ACCURSED from God. Are you aware how strong that language is? He doesn't say pray for, he doesn't say try to convince , he says let them be accursed from God's love.
I’m guessing that you never experienced a true toxic relationship. Look up the term ‘reprobate’.... it means wicked and Godless. Ultimately people of a reprobate mind can not be saved. Look at the wheat and the tare or the sheep and the goat. How about a drunk, a liar, a whore or an adulterer. Gods wasn’t shy in calling out people and naming their sin.
The Gospel: Plain and Simple “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3 Ask someone today if they are saved and you will most likely hear responses like these: “I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually knows the gospel that saves them. These useless phrases don’t describe a thing about what the gospel is and has left a devastating effect of people not knowing what it is that they are saved from nor how they are saved; which leaves a more serious effect of people questioning their salvation. Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salvation that is in Christ with vague church sounding phrases that do not communicate anything. But rather present God’s word with clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel: plain and simple. Sin was passed upon all men by one man Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin (Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good works one might do we are still found sinners in the sight of our Creator God. And all unrighteousness and those who follow get indignation and wrath. We cannot be found righteous for by God’s law we are found sinners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even one law we are found guilty. It is for this reason of not being able to create our own righteousness and being born in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus 3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross 2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath and judgement that was intended for us sinners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial, and resurrection on our behalf that we are able to have peace with God and forgiveness of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good news is unto all but only those that believe in it are made righteous in Christ (Romans 3:22). It is then after we have heard this good news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and we are now part of Christ’s body the church (Eph 1:13) There is nothing that we need to do, no good works that are required, and no bad works that can separate us from our new position in Christ (Romans 8:35-39). Faith and belief in this information from God’s word is the gospel. The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your heart. The gospel is not making him lord of your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not being baptized with water. So next time someone asks you if you are saved. Give them the clear assured answer “Yes! And let me tell you why!” Find more free resources at: www.graceambassadors.com

HalleluYAH! Praise the Lord! This is a remarkable testimony
Keep away from gossip as well.

this was the first post from a parent that i feel compassion for. what a hard situation.
22:43 - Think of the importance of honoring your parents.
25:09 - Protecting your children from sexual abuse.
30:53 - Protecting children and yet being evangelistic to the lost.
36:15 - Tim again emphasizes the father's responsibility.
37:36 - What about when you are submitting to multiple authorities?
43:42 - Tim speaks about the early days of trying to evangelize his old friends.
Excellent question! I’m looking forward to hearing Tim’s answer! Thank you!
My mother was very physically and mentally abusive as well. She is cruel to anyone she can't control
Your videos are amazing keep going! Making heaven crowded :)
This is a juicy teaching I can tell…
Thank you for sharing this message, I'll share your message on FB, because it's much needed.

Do you think I came to bring peace? I did not come to bring peace but a sword. Matthew 10:34
In this verse, Jesus is referring to the idea that his message will cause division, separating the world into those who believe in him and those who do not. This division can lead to conflict, as those who reject Jesus may turn against those who believe, including family members.

@@briangilley5093 The heavens declare the glory of God Brian, if naure and scripture don't align, the interpretation of one or both is wrong. This is because God is consistent and he can't lie
Nature has fallen, too. The creation reveals God's glory, but it is not a perfect testimony.
@@ellelane3213 As in, not everything in creation reveals God's glory, for example you can't say that Yahweh is a God of death just because death exists for example?
From what I've read and understand there are definitive situations where God has said not to be in communion with such individuals, one such verse is (and I believe this applies to scoffers as well):
*Titus **3:10**-11 (nkjv)* _10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned._ *(See Below Please If You Are Willing)*
Where some Christians take it to the extreme is with marriage, and concerning the verse:
*2 Corinthians 6:14 (nkjv)* _14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?_
I don't believe the above verse is a reference to marriage, but concerns what company we keep. Are we hanging around the wrong crowd who are engaged in things contrary to the Biblical principles of which we profess?
*1 Corinthians 7:14 (nkjv)* _14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy._
It was said to me in a comment: _"This is for people who are already married!"_
Well, that's a given, because God will never sanctify such a relationship between two people, unless you are married, regardless at what point you have come to Christ, before or after, also considering how many video's there are titled "Why I left Christianity". Note to self: Before a "Christian" refuses to marry a "sinner", must ensure he, himself is a Christian!
*1 Corinthians 7:16 (nkjv)* _16 For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?_
Christians say do not marry unbelievers, while unbelievers are within our very households, so how do reconcile that, I mean, are we not the Bride of Christ? God knew us from the foundations of the world, while we were yet, still in sin.
*Hebrews 13:4 (nkjv)* _4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge._
My dad was a preacher, and he was not unequally yoked, when he married my mom who was a Roman Catholic. My dad's faith was greater than my mom's faith in Catholicism, and through the Word of God, she now puts her complete faith in the finished work of Christ upon the Cross, but according to how people are defining "unequally yoked", where would my mom be if my dad were to say, "Sorry, I can only marry true Christians!"
Here's the key: Someone who truly hates God, would never marry a Christian, and if two people having two different beliefs are willing to dedicate their lives to one another, I'd call that love.
*Romans 13:10 (nkjv)* _10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law._
Therefore, the unbeliever is sanctified by the Believer, so that their offspring will not be "unclean".
But God has called us to peace._
CONCLUSION
I pray my interpretation is correct, and that I am not deceiving myself, as I have no desire to spread a contrary Gospel, than that which was preached by the Disciples...
Thanks brother Tim.Godbless
Good stuff. Well done.

also: cut the Satan off, and nurture you Godly family. or just let the Satan torture you, the Satan doesn't get saved (because they're a reprobate), and you die being drained and tortured by Satan.
Hard situation, sounds like your being led by the Spirit and Word. Pray for her
Keep u and ur kidz safe.

What about toxic parents 🤔 like ik that the commandment says honor thy father and mother but how can you when there toxic to you when u show them honor but yet they show nothing but toxicity so If I cut them off it doesn’t mean I broke the law right?
There is a lot of unknowns here but I think if you are a minor you are compelled to live with them in a way that makes for peace. They may be toxic because of many reasons. But you can show love best by loving Jesus and obeying His leading in this. Have you asked the God who created all things for help with this issue? Start there.
How can you even say you honor your father and mother when you call them 'toxic'?

You are taking so long to answer the Question?
You are struggling to answer

The Gospel:
Plain and
Simple
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent
beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your
minds should be corrupted from the simplicity
that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3
Ask someone today if they are saved and
you will most likely hear responses like these:
“I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I
have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been
baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good
and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually
knows the gospel that saves them. These useless phrases don’t describe a thing about what
the gospel is and has left a devastating effect
of people not knowing what it is that they are
saved from nor how they are saved; which
leaves a more serious effect of people questioning their salvation.
Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salvation that is in Christ with vague church
sounding phrases that do not communicate
anything. But rather present God’s word with
clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel:
plain and simple.
Sin was passed upon all men by one man
Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin
(Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of
condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of
this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good
works one might do we are still found sinners
in the sight of our Creator God. And all unrighteousness and those who follow get indignation and wrath. We cannot be found
righteous for by God’s law we are found sinners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even
one law we are found guilty.
It is for this reason of not being able to
create our own righteousness and being born
in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus
3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in
the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross
2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath
and judgement that was intended for us sinners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial,
and resurrection on our behalf that we are
able to have peace with God and forgiveness
of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good
news is unto all but only those that believe in
it are made righteous in Christ (Romans
3:22).
It is then after we have heard this good
news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit
and we are now part of Christ’s body the
church (Eph 1:13)
There is nothing that we need to do, no
good works that are required, and no bad
works that can separate us from our new position in Christ (Romans 8:35-39).
Faith and belief in this information from
God’s word is the gospel.
The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your
heart. The gospel is not making him lord of
your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not
being baptized with water.
So next time someone asks you if you are
saved. Give them the clear assured answer
“Yes! And let me tell you why!”
