With all that steel, deep foundations, and concrete & rock (and gold lol) your house is going to be stronger than any fort and will still be standing 1000 years from now. The presidential palace of the future President Marwa of Kenya.
The foundation is very deep & beyond enough. By the look of things it will be super strong to easily accomodate the rest of the build. I assume ( my experience) the contractor is ( a family friend ) going beyond the specs/blueprint to do the best job possible. Looking back as a child, the contractor that built our home was my dad's best friend. He never spared any effort to make sure my Dad got the utmost out of every $dollar. I know it's the same contractor that built your parents home. Very impress with the workmanship & work ethics of the contractor & crew. Best " I've seen on video so far in Africa "... While February is normally a dry month in Kenya, the rains being experienced now in the Lake Victoria Basin regions; Western Kenya and the Central highlands including Nairobi are due to the shifting of the Congo moisture band (meridional arm of itcz) into Eastern Africa Countries... The shift is currently caused by the existence of a depression (that is a deep low pressure system) within the Mozambican channel (the area between Madagascar and Mozambique). This creates a pressure gradient causing the airmass to TEMPORARILY move eastward.
why are you using D16? unless the house will go up more than 3 floors then its ok but if its 2 levels then D12 is okay dont go unnecessarily overboard each coin saved is worth
I have noticed on your videos you don't give other people a chance to talk , like you ask your bro to explain, he says 2 words and you take over.. but great vid. Blessings

Hi Marwa, one of the trees around the foundation been consumed by the foundation, can you tell us where the tree is suiated inTHE HOUSE. Interesting anyway, to have a tree in a House and it is not a flower tree. Thanks.
Hey bro. Nice project there. I have studied the drone image of your house foundation. It is not regular. Please ask the fundi to re check the measurements of opposite lengths of your foundation. Otherwise one side of wall will be shorted than opposite side. Thank me latter.
Good job Marwa my brother not chasing fun but building. But from the bottom of my heart, you work so hard that if I were you i would build such a house in a town or city or use the money to buy real estate. Then you can build such a house later. Just my advice. You will reap more than you can imagine.
I mwarwa...is that place not wet land/marshy where a river used to pass for your building foundation? I hope it will not cause you trouble when you build your project in long term. Otherwise, good job for creating positive projects on land.
Well done, Marwa. How far with the stone found when digging the foundation, has it been confirmed to be Gold or Zinc or any precious stone? Has it been confirmed? Were you asked to continue building? Regards, your Fam Member.
Really deep foundation as it should be considering the size of the building and how soft the land is. It's a good thing you don't mention those stones because they can bring you problems on your land. Keep us updated about the project. So far so good.
