It depends on who the broker is representing. If the broker is selling the aircraft, the seller pays the commission, and if the broker is helping the client find an airplane, then the buyer.

Not 100% sure how it happens with aircraft but in real estate the broker gets the first months rent on the lease. Which is why you might see people say “The first month is double” or something to that effect. Because half goes to the agent and half to the lessor

How long do I have to be an entry-level aircraft broker before I can move up?
It all comes down to how fast you learn and how motivated you are to keep moving forward! There’s no secret only hard work!
