haha I’m local to Beefy Boys!! Their burgers are incredible and definitely worth a visit to their restaurant (very admirable start up story and have built an incredible business from a food truck!) and I genuinely don’t think the postal box does it justice!

For £45 I'm so shocked that the Rick stein box was such a let down seeing as he is a reputable chef 😮

Got so excited to see you try Beefy Boys. They are from my hometown, the kits are yummy but not a patch on going for a burger at their restaurants. A must whenever I visit home. Loved your video grack!
For a work Christmas gift last year we got gifted 1 meal from Dishpatch, and I ordered the Taco Party one too! Mine was Confit Pork Carnitas. I really enjoyed it, it felt like you could have it for an easy dinner party or something (but it was just me and my family). I do feel like the price is a bit expensive but it was yummy and a lot of food (and my guac wasn't fizzy hahaha)

I truly think the Rick Stein box should insist you heat the food ... I'm sure the cakes heated in the microwave - briefly - might make them less dry.
I feared she might get ill from it. Wondering if the food was off in transport. She should get her £ back.
Not everyone has a microwave though, I don’t so that’s instruction would be wasted on me

Can you try this but with the vegetarian options that those boxes offer? (like Hello Fresh etc.) I want to know if those are any good as well but I've only ever seen people try the ones with meat in it

@@_wish_it_believe_it_ well, she’s saying how tasty ‘she’ finds the food, which we can’t really go off because we no doubt have different taste buds to her and she’s saying how easy or hard ‘she’ finds making the food etc and what she might think of as poor quality we might think is top quality.
Although I’m sure it would be interesting to see what’s in the vegan ones but ultimately, we have to try them for ourselves but they’re a bit expensive to be ordering every day and if they’re a treat, I think most of us would rather take ourselves out for a nice breakfast or whatnot. But yeah, it would provide more content anyway ☺️

I tried Piglet's Pantry after you mentioned it in a previous video and they're fantastic. I love that they have veggie and vegan options too. We now have a tradition of getting them for Christmas eve. Definitely thanks to you for highlighting them!

When your next down in Cornwall you have to try a pips pasty 🥰 they are flaky, meaty and just wonderful. Gear farm down by Goonhilly also does fantastic pasties, sausage rolls and cakes

Me and my partner went for an 'all you can eat' in Cardiff. It wasnt all you can eat, you get 4 small plates each 5 times (which is more than enough!) We couldn't get to the 5th section and it was £95 😂

a cornish pasty does not have to be made in cornwall, It has to made with the right ingredients as per the recipe. That is why the beef and vegatable bake at greggs is not called a cornish pasty despite its resemblance to one.
That’s not correct, the Cornish pasty is a protected name and any product sold using the Cornish pasty name must be produced west of the Tamar, in the county of Cornwall.
There are various schemes around the world that give legal protection for named regional food products against imitation. Collectively they are referred to as GI’s, or geographic indicators.
In 1993, The European Union (EU) created a Europe-wide framework for GIs and in 2011 the Cornish Pasty was (and still is) registered under that scheme with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status.
The UK now has its own scheme, which mirrors the EU scheme, and gives continuing protection to the Cornish Pasty within Great Britain now that we have left the EU.
So Greggs could make a pasty with the exact ingredients but they still couldn’t call it a Cornish pasty.

Sadly Cope is not in my part of the world ingredients looked grand, my only trigger moment was the way you fryed up the eggs. I know so many people accept the brown bit on the bottom of the eggs which for me is a bust, I get pretty pissy about my eggs which is why I have a dedicated egg skillet and i place a nice pad of butter on low heat and crack my eggs in put a cover on and go about making bacon/rashers, hashbrowns and of course toast. Turn off heat on eggs, one quick flip and let them sit while I put orange marmalade on my toast and then plate it all. Not as fancy as a full blown UK fry-up but just as good and no stress when it comes to insuring an over easy egg with a nice yolk to enjoy with the toast, hashbrowns etc. Of course I had to chuckle with the biscuit comment only because I'm a Texan and we shall forever have a different opinion when it comes to the term biscuit. :( Sorry your tea kit was a bust. All in all very interesting. Oh and hell from Texas
