Congratulations on your 200th video milestone! It is evident you put a lot of care and effort into your production. Thank you for bringing particularly high quality content to UA-cam. Your videos are always happily anticipated!
Excellent video, very easy to follow due to good communication. Shed looks great and what a great way to recycle material. Some people being a pedantic with the 'free' word, its recycling material and there was no direct cost to the work.
Hi Brent! Congrats on your Milestone Video! I’ve been a long time viewer of your channel, first saw you with Leah of See Jane Drill. I have learned a ton from your videos. Thanks for taking us along in all these projects. Continued success to you!!😊
I watch all your videos. and although I don't really understand the necessity of some things (like this shed), you still have good videos. it's fun to watch!
I admit this is a bit of an odd video for me but there are circumstances where someone needs a shed but only has space for a small one. Hope this video helps those people. But no mater what I truly appreciate your support along the way, even in videos like this :)
Good use of materials that are left over from other projects, but not free... you paid for it somewhere along the way, so there is a cost..., but I commend you for keeping it out of the landfill.
I was thinking of cobbling together a shed for my garden tools and happened upon your video. Firstly I really enjoyed it ( it’s a guy thing as I believe Americans say.) Anyway, it’s clear that you are what we Brits (actually just me) might call an Uberbloke ie a chap with lots of fab tools and piles of spare stuff. I have some tools and some stuff but was inspired by your improvisational skills. I also liked it that your dog showed some interest and it would be nice if maybe next time you introduce him. For example- “Here’s Rover and because he doesn’t have opposable thumbs and also because dogs, so I’m told, only have the intellectual abilities of a six year old child, his contribution is mostly morale raising.” All that said, you have inspired me to consider the use of the odds and sods of wood and stuff that I have accumulated over the years. Thank you and well done! Brian. London UK. 23rd Sept 2024.
Good job Bent! Now I am wondering what I can build with all my scrap lumber in the rolling material cart I made from your Maker pipe video. Thanks as always.
Nice work. More vids like this from more content creators would be a fabulous thing. Got me thinking about other projects I could do around our home with what we have. I was curious if the large open gap at the top on the door side was going to be an issue with wild critters.
Was thinking of what a small lean-to would do for me, but I do enjoy woodworking outdoors on nice days so maybe I’d store some tools for projects rather than bring them in and out of my basement shop. Plans would be great!
This reminds me of the age-old question: "How do you make a small fortune in the construction biz?" Answer: "Start out with a large fortune." How do you build a shed for FREE? Start out with dozens of other projects and never return the overage. I've got to say, though, that's an amazing product! Looks great!
I've been framing for a while and it's so funny to hear you explain stuff. Also, it's not a chop saw. It's actually a miter saw. A miter saw can cut angles and bevels. A chop saw is typically meant for cutting metal, it only cuts straight and it runs at higher rpms. I actually hate when people call a miter saw a chop saw
Why did you leave the big gap between the front wall and the roof? A perfect entry point for water, dust and pests😮 I also would have put an extra piece of timber to close the gap around the door. Apart from that it looks good.
Luckily we don’t run into hornets very often in my area but I’ll keep my eye out and if they show up I’ll let my audience know for sure. Thanks for watchjng
Good idea, but not free since these materials were all bought. Would have liked seeing you search for free material off of Facebook or Craigslist or other ways.
All this came from your garage but either you already spent money on it, which means it wasn't free, or you actually didn't spend money on that wood, therefor, it would have been free.
Cute small project, but not free you purchased all that material along the way. I wish I could find lots of wood someone wasn’t in need of and build a shed.
Still expensive because not every one has nice expensive things laying around lol better off just showing a low cost to build a better shed since people that watch ur videos are diy people that are trying to save money by doing there self instead of buy something expensive or hire someone else
Loved this project - I find it so satisfying to make something useful out of my "junk pile. Happy 200th episode from a fellow PNW'er.
Thanks so much for all the kind words and all the support along the way. Especially coming from the PNW :)

Nice. I can’t remember for how long I follow you already, but it must be quite some time! Always enjoy your videos! Happy 200 🎉
Thanks so much for the kind words and all the support along the way. Here's to the next 200 videos haha :)

Congratulations on 200th video! Love all your projects.
Wow, an Absolutely Amazing and Creative Shed build project from nothing but scraps!
Well done!
Love the new shed! Great use of the hoarded materials!
Awesome job on this project!👏
Thanks for all the support along the way. Love how this project turned out :)
Thank You!! It’s been fun and educational to watch your DIY Videos!! I enjoy to see the time and effort you put into your beautiful projects!!

I think the dog was wondering what you were doing to his bathroom! LOL
Nice video!! Guess I'm going to have to keep more stuff from the job site! Just finding a place to put it is always the problem.
Great stuff Brett, I loved seeing the creativity associated with this project. Keep the projects coming!
Great use of extra materials
Big up from Scotland mate 👏

Nice video u earned my subscription plus I definitely want the plans of the lean to because I am making one basically the same dimensions
Peg board inside will optimise tool organisation. A classic for kitchen/braai storage too.
Great video and good idea using all that material already on-hand.
great! we dont see enough of those project
Good job Bent! Now I am wondering what I can build with all my scrap lumber in the rolling material cart I made from your Maker pipe video. Thanks as always.
Haha Love it Roger. Thanks so much for all the support along the way.
That front siding is kinda cool. It’s almost like a poor man’s shiplap or tongue and groove. Looks great!
Great idea! I think I would have boxed in the front eave.
Nice work. More vids like this from more content creators would be a fabulous thing. Got me thinking about other projects I could do around our home with what we have. I was curious if the large open gap at the top on the door side was going to be an issue with wild critters.
Why didn’t you close the top? You’ll get critters inside in no time
because he doesn't have enough material/ or maybe to ensure some light, i dunno, if its a material problem i think he'll come back once he gets more
Yeah thought the same
At least a facia board.
That’s awesome! Very creative.
cool brent! its kevin again! good idea :)
Plans!!!! Yeah I wouldn’t mind plans
Great to hear and thanks so much for your input!
Who counted how many times he said the word " creative"😂😂😂😂 good job dude looks awesome

Love your videos, love the music at the end, hate the background music. If I want to struggle to hear you, I can play my own music in the background.
Is there a video on the bench in the background at the beginning of the video?
Great inexpensive build
The millionaire talks about FREE!!! CLASSIC TOOLS INCLUDED. OUT OF TOUCH WITH MOST OF USA AND THE IMAGINARY " OUTER Planets ON EARTH. THANKS BRAH.
Awesome reuse of odd, leftover materials! Nice.
Realy great
Awesome!!
Nice dude!
make a shorts video of how you organise the inside
I wouldn't have fixed it to the house.
But I get that it saves on materials.

Niceeee - esteban

probably airflow. I dont think this is a particularly secure build, just keeps things organised.
Hey 👋
Why not close on the top?
I wanna pet your dog, also your other one.❤❤❤
With the openings at the roof there’s a very good possibility that you will get hornets nests in the shed.
Luckily we don’t run into hornets very often in my area but I’ll keep my eye out and if they show up I’ll let my audience know for sure. Thanks for watchjng
🙏👏👍💪
Can you build a dog house for the doggos
The top is open.
Good idea, but not free since these materials were all bought. Would have liked seeing you search for free material off of Facebook or Craigslist or other ways.
Free just spend like 1500.00 on tools lol but seriously this dude is a cohesive perfectionist
Lol, "I built the shed with free materials..." drums "...I bought earlier"
I dont have any of this stuff laying around the house to build a "free" shed.
Floor?! Soffits?? 80% done.
All this came from your garage but either you already spent money on it, which means it wasn't free, or you actually didn't spend money on that wood, therefor, it would have been free.
i notice how the young guys always make sure to accent the L in caulk.
This is the way
@@mgodbeeIt's Cawk.
It's misleading ... you had the stuff in gaage which costs money .. i dont have it
You spent money on all that material, it’s not free
Yes, it was free because the materials were leftover scraps from other projects
You pronounce it as shid
Cute small project, but not free you purchased all that material along the way. I wish I could find lots of wood someone wasn’t in need of and build a shed.
Yeah I agree, I wouldn't have used FREE in the title. Maybe: "How To Build A Shed From Scratch; Literally".
Finding free material in your garage doesn't classify as free you spend many dimes not too long ago
Still expensive because not every one has nice expensive things laying around lol better off just showing a low cost to build a better shed since people that watch ur videos are diy people that are trying to save money by doing there self instead of buy something expensive or hire someone else
Absolutely delusional calling that huge waste "FREE" !
Ok but free for who? Just u??
So in reality you bought this wood at one point in time so it was not free
