A few tattoos ago I was a week into the healing process when my cat jumped on me and caught me with his back claws, right across the new tattoo. @@Robert_Reacts, it was terrible. I do not have dyslexia, but still found it nearly impossible to get through. Incels are apparently allergic to punctuation and grammar.
They think they know everything even when it's clear something is wrong. I got a piercing infected once and when I talked to the piercer she asked "who told you it's infected?", well I worked in a lab, everybody had degrees related to health, including me, and she said "oh they are biologists, no piercers, they dont know what's happening". No, my love, a biologist should know an infection when they see one.
He also said that doctors don’t know anything about how skin heals. Doctors don’t know what now?? Excuse me? Just like lab workers with health degrees don’t know an infection I guess, maybe they all went to the same school.
Plus, you're and adult and it's your body! We know when there's something wrong with our own bodies and most adults are able to diagnose a simple infection. That would have made me so angy!
It's not an allergic reaction and that's evident from the concentration of inflammation and purulence SOLELY where the skin was penetrated with the needle with no telltale hives/rash on the entire area of skin. Not that anyone with any sense confuses a crusty, oozing infection with an allergic reaction but unless she applied the saniderm precisely only to the tattoo rather than over the entire patch of skin, it doesn't make sense even if there weren't obvious signs of infection... But I'm sure we can trust the diagnosis of a grown man who still calls people the r-word, and can't even manage to spell it correctly 💀
"Doctors automatically suggest antibiotics for any tattoo due to being unaware of how the healing process works." I always trust a tattoo artist with a first aid certification to know best practices for wound treatment over a board certified medical professional! ✨

@@kszoknyikIt depends on what kind of infection it is, if it’s a deep-tissue infection then 100% otherwise they’ll usually give you an antibiotic ointment.
@@kszoknyik I don't think that tattoo was actually infected (I used to be a tattoo artist) I think what happened is the client either got bad aftercare instructions or was having a reaction to the ink + colored tattoos tend to look super gross when healing because of the pigment & the blood/enzymes all mixing together and can be mistaken as an infection especially if the persons skin is rejecting the ink. Antibiotics can slow the healing process on a tattoo because it doesn't work the same as say a cut due to the ink being a foreign object in the body. The artist was correct in everything she said. The owner on the other hand is (in my opinion) where everything went wrong. If he wasn't so awful I think this could have been handled very easily and calmly but unfortunately he seems like a terrible human and caused a lack of trust in the client which is where the real problem happened. Tattooing is all about trust and vulnerability so him saying what he did no one can blame the client for not listening to anyone else at the shop even though the artist was saying all true things. Even the Neosporin part, you really should never put that on a healing tattoo even if infected bc it will make It worse. The best thing to do is keep it clean by washing with gentle soap, my favorite is orange dial and keep it dry but not like super dry so the infection can heal up. If this tattoo was infected it would have been red/swollen/hot to the touch and it didn't look red at all just like the skin was rejecting the ink which isn't uncommon especially with pigments containing red and yellow. red/yellow are the most common pigments people reject and or are allergic to. The tattoo really didn't look that bad...obviously it didn't look good either but it was nothing to be super concerned about which is why the owner really f**ked up by reacting the way he did. I'm sure if he had a calm conversation with the client about the healing process on color tattoos and what rejected ink looks like it would have been fine. In my opinion I don't blame the client or the artist and fully blame the owner.
@@schuii6195, I believe the second photo we saw was taken after the infection had started to clear, so that's why it doesn't look so bad. It was taken at a point when the situation wasn't at its worst. Justine, the former nurse/tattoo artist whom Robert cites in this video, says as much in her coverage on Twitter. (To be clear, Justine was not involved in the incident.)
This is so unprofessional... I don't have words. A grown man and a bussiness owner (!) using this kind of language is actually scary in my opinion. What is he going to do if someone decides to sue his studio? 🤨I have many tattoos and never had any issues with the artists. They are some of the most professional people I've ever met. The only thing I've ever found out is that I'm possibly allergic to red ink. I contacted my tattoo artist and she was so helpful! There is no need for this kind of people in tattoo business. Also, the "tattoos" on his page are so ugly it's laughable😂
I loved that he used the "r" word (and apparently not autocorrect) pretty early on, that's always such a reliable indication that everything else he says is fking stupid. If only every disgusting creep waved their red flags so confidently.
100% agree about tattoo artists, I hope nobody lets this guy scare them away from getting ink because he is not a representative of the majority. DO let it be a lesson to vet any person who will be permanently modifying your body in any way! No shade to victims of people like him, but that's the only message anyone should take away.
I have scaled way back on my tendency to correct grammar because I know it comes off as offensive and elitist, but when the individual is this repulsive, I don't feel bad at all. I have a feeling that reading through his Facebook posts would put me in into a coma.
@@claritybadbSame! I only correct people if they spell things wrong or use poor grammar while also making fun of someone else or leaving a generally hateful comment.
Even if it wasn't an infection and was an allergic reaction to the second skin, there is still no reason the artist and owner of the shop couldn't help their client get her skin healed up. And even if they didn't want to help, directing her to someone who could help. Attacking her in her messages especially the way he spoke to her is just wild to me like i could never say any of those things to anyone, doesn't matter how mad I am
I would worry about anyone who wasn't disgusted by him, it goes so far beyond unprofessional, no man his age should be talking like that to anyone. He is close to my age and literally sounds like every angry millennial teenage boy ever, it's disconcerting to read that in 2024. Peaked in high school and he's still there, I suspect the awful tattoos are the only thing he's added to his existence since then and I can't say it's an improvement.
As a pro, do you think anything can be about that poor decision he got inked on the side of his head? The way the bottle is drawn makes it look like plastic and the water flowing out resembles poorly drawn anime hair... If I saw that when I walked into a tattoo studio I would spin 180° on my heel and keep walking. But I have designed cover-up tattoos for friends with bad jail ink and that looks like a fun challenge for a more talented artist. At what point do you tell someone it's hopeless??
@@LunarEleven some of my artists specialise in coverups, obviously sometimes the client may need to Lazer the ink abit first especially if it's very big and colourful. I don't think we've ever told anyone we can't do their tattoo, the whole point is that you work together with your artist to bring your idea to life, they'll draw it up as many times until you're satisfied then tattoo it. The problem is people don't research first, I always tell people visit a few studios first, make sure they're clean and the equipment is sterile. Ask to see portfolios. In my studios we try to match you with the artist, if you want black and grey you'll get my best black and grey artist, same for colour, portrait etc.

I've got tattoos and I've had one get infected, a Bulbasaur on my foot. When he was infected he looked like he was literally melting off of my foot, I called him my Zombie Bulbasaur. But, ink did fully reject in certain areas and the entire piece had to be redone. I'll never say it was the shops fault as I have had all of my tattoos done there before and since and never had any further issues. However, it was TERRIFYING. I can't imagine going to your artist with any type of problem(s) to get a reaction like this. That's inexcusable and just disgusting behavior. My artist was very concerned and immediately advised me to go to the hospital, which I did. Got a prescription for antibiotics (because they heal things), and the infection was resolved within days. I waited a year before I got him redone, but he is redone and officially a full Bulbasaur again, razor leafing on my foot 🌿💚.!
I'm covered in tattoos and on the occasion I've had an infection. When this has happened I've contacted the tattoo artist to check what products they used incase I've developed an allergy etc. Not once has a tattooist been rude to me about it. They have never shouted at me or swore at me. They've been understanding and helpful. I don't accuse them of anything as sometimes infections and reactions can just happen, but they also aren't rude to me. They are professional, as they should be. I hate the mentality some tattoo artists have that they are better than everyone. Some of them love the drama and it's so boring 🙄
Same!! A lot of people (including tattoo artists) are commenting how getting an infection is "not acceptable" - when it's actually quite common (because usually they are simple bacterial infections that can happen from an allergy reaction or excessive heat, especially if you live in a warm country, and can be easily healed with a course of topical and oral antibiotics), when two of my coloured tattoos have been infected and the second time I realized that this only happens to me when I do large coloured tattoos (FYI, I have a total of 37 tattoos, both black and coloured). Regardless, my tattoo artist always checked up on me (both times), every single day, helped me to properly care for it... and that was it!! I felt a lot less anxious and both my tattoos healed amazingly. It doesn't take money to be nice and empathetic ❤
I agree for some reason this man was giving me strong British vibes 🤣 Should probably just add about the Tate brothers they are currently on trial for human trafficking in Romania after which they are being extradicted to the UK to face charges of r*pe. If someone is still liking their content at this point, that is what they are supporting 💀
Talk about unprofessional attitude. I think any tattoo artist I’ve met would have been horrified. They always say to contact them if anything happens during the healing.
That was a hard read for anyone. Dude hopefully lost all female clients forever and decent men. I can't imagine talking to anyone that way much less as a business owner. He definitely isn't the brightest. He is acting like his shop is the only place around and he can behave however he wants and still be successful. Just those pictures you showed from the gym, he has no right to comment on anyones body tupe 😂
This guy is a slime. She should have reported him to the department of professional regulations, he would have gotten shut down, and his license to operate would be suspended or terminated. It’s so important to do your research when getting something evasive done to your body. If I were her I’d get a blood test 😢
I have to say, seeing that the tattoo artist was a woman and clearly much more well-spoken and professional compared to the owner of the shop… I cant imagine how she deals with her employer!!😵💫
“I’m gonna rewrite this in the comments so you can better yourself” very graceful and educational of you, Robert 😆 10:00 “and this is interesting” I’m screaming at that side eye
I'm so embarrassed to have worked to promote this man's product around West Virginia. The artist, and the other female at this shop did walk away and are dedicated to doing good work in the community.
I could never get a tattoo, I can't decide what t-shirt to wear everyday, let alone a piece of art to have on my body for the rest of my life 😂 Maybe I should just get a tattoo of my favourite twins 😊
The vaguebooking made me LOL, and my hat’s off to you for reading through all that bad English! Dyslexia is tough enough when people use proper grammar. ❤
listen- that tattoo is ROTTING, that's not an allergy. usually allergies in tattoos come from specific colours (often red ink iirc) and the skin would simply reject the ink and scab over, which looks VERY DIFFERENT to an infection which is absolutely what happened here. it's the lack of accountability and the poor grammar for me 💀
I mean, ive had an allergic reaction to ink (all my tattoos are blackwork) and the skin around the lines literally split open and was so incredibly sore... the ink did reject once the splitting healed but its not as simple as your skin just spitting out the ink and scabbing over...
When you go to a tattoo artist and say you have an infection, they normally go “oh I’m sorry to hear that, this is what you should do, and maybe next time do this instead when it’s fresh. Once it heals, come back for your touch up!” He’s the worst kind of tattoo artist! Also, I’ve had 8 tattoos, many large. The ink does push out and peel but if she when to the ER and they said “it’s infected” it’s freaking infected! His tattoos are also bad. He’s got no right to criticize an apprentice. It’s very small town old school artist “I’m right, you’re stupid” attitude.
Appreciate Robert, everyone. He's over here torturing himself by reading this guy's "writing" with his dyslexic ass so he can make videos I think I had a stroke while reading all that
I have 6 tattoos. 4 of them are full color. 2 are just line work. Not that you need that experience to tell that her tattoo is infected. But it is clearly infected. I got so mad when he said it's going to heal differently. It should generally heal the same. It won't look THAT infected unless it is infected.
I used to be a tattoo artist and an infected tattoo will be red and swollen/hot to the touch. That tattoo wasn't red at all. I think her skin was just rejecting the ink which isn't uncommon with pigments containing red/yellow (the pink will have red in it). Do I think the owner handled it well at all?? ABSOLUTELY NOT. but I also don't think it was infected.
2:02 oh my goodness! You said that they were balding incels with terrible jaw lines and now they're nothing but burnt marshmallows because of the roast you just gave!!!!😂😂😂😂
The use of antibiotics to treat an infected tattoo CAN affect the healing process because it can cause the ink to be expelled from the area. BUT it is necessary for an infection like this one. I am a professional tattoo artist, and I always explain after care very clearly to my clients and tell them to reach out if something happens with the tat. If this would to happen to me, I'd try to figure out what happened and suggest a free touch up. The attitude and the way this was handled was completely unprofessional, but sadly, it's fairly common in old school tattoo shops.
Wow, this is wild! It never ceases to amaze me how unprofessional some business owners act. That’s never how an owner should treat a customer, especially when a health risk is involved! I feel so badly for this person because that tattoo looked very painful and raw. As someone who has a full back tattoo, I sat in the chair for many hours over several visits with no issue and then developed an infection after my last visit. My tattoo artist and the shop owner were excellent with communication and incredibly apologetic and helpful. I never blamed them because both family and I were customers for a long time and knew that they took all precautions. They’re a really clean shop and have really wonderful artists who care about the people that they tattoo. That said, any time you’re making a wound like that there is a small bit of risk. It was kind of a freak one-off thing and they were very helpful, so I’m thankful for that and that’s what I would expect. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics because it was cellulitis and the pain was awful. It took a lot of time to heal and I’m lucky that it was ok in the end. My tattoo artist offered to touch it up for me for free at any point down the road and I know he felt awful about it. It was unfortunate, but I still love my tattoo and the shop. I think it is the mark of a good business when they really care and take care of you when something goes awry. I would 100% prefer to support that instead of someone like that Paul guy even if his tats were any good.
Seeing you cover heinous drama from my hometown is WILD and I was shocked to see it pop up 😂 This guy has an…. interesting past history of this kind of behavior.
His comment - after the first few lines, has given me a migraine …a prime example of why “common rules” on the English language and the usage of punctuation marks are so important in the school system…and side bar to “Heather”…neosporin is designed to fight infection and heal the skin 🙄
I feel a good rule of thumb may be to not let someone tattoo you if you don't see them putting NEW needles onto their gun, if the coverings on the gun aren't brand new and CLEAN, and their flash sheets are filled with a style you want drawn by their hand. I've been lucky to never had an infected tattoo, but something like this shouldn't happen if an artist genuinely cares about what they're doing and isn't just in it for the money or fame. But I digress...
Bless her heart! Homework, referrals, etc are the only way to go for ink! What a complete man boy, to use your wise words! As an older woman with amazing body art, I would have lost my brains on this man- IF I had darkened the door of his shop! I truly hope the artist has found another job & his business tanks!
Ok, but the artist also gave bad advice as well...they may have been more professional about it but still told her it was something different and not to trust doctors. _I will admit that most medical professionals are terrible when it comes to knowledge about tattoos and piercings, but they definitely know an infection when they see one_
8:00 😂this is the perfect advertisement for their business!! Letting everyone know not to go to them. Idc if they do amazing tattoos, that behaviour would be the reason ppl won't go there. Hope this lost them lots of business. Plus the whole adding the money symbol after the numbers is one of my hates
People who have very sensitive skin can have a reaction to saniderm. If youre unaware of saniderm it's a clear film like bandage that was originally used for burn victims. It alows for your own body to heal the tattoo without needing to clean and apply tattoo safe ointment or lotions. Youre meant to wear the first piece for 24 hours and them remove it, wash it, and let the skin air dry, then put a new piece on. The second piece you wear for up to 5 days. In theory, by the time you take it off, a lot of the healing has taken place and you can continue with lotion through the rest of the healing. I dont have any trouble with it other than a little itchiness towards the end. My niece cannot wear it she gets a rash from it which causes everyhing under it to get hot and slightly raised. In her case our tattoist told her to remove it, wash the tattoo and surrounding area , and then continue applying a tattoo safe ointment or lotion. If this girl is allergic and didn't remove the saniderm that could have caused an infection but the tattooist or anyone at the shop should have advised her to remove it if this was the case.
UGH How did I know what country he is from? (America) How did I know what part of America? (South) And OMG, Robert, I totally did the same thing in my research, and was I shocked at what I found? NOOOPE!!! Just about all of his tattoo photos are ALL red and raised. Oh but hey - he’s a self-taught tattoo artist, so it must be ok.
fresh tattoos on most people will be very red and raised though??? Most people swell immediately after because, you know, they have a huge wound on their skin now...
10:23 These are the types of tattoos you would see posted on the r/shittytattoos subreddit, not on a business page. I love the sass in this video. Fixing your hair while telling Paul that you're petty, practically shoving your eyeballs into the phone screen looking for the realism, i cannot 🤣🤣
Antibiotics are a common treatment for tattoo infections. Depending on the diagnosis and severity, it may take multiple antibiotics to clear the infection. Many people need to be on these drugs for up to six weeks. For severe infections, intravenous (IV) antibiotics may be necessary. That’s what pops up if you look up how to heal a tattoo, that’s infected. You go to the doctor, you don’t just keep washing it with a mild soap. I had tattoos, all my siblings have tattoos, friends, if they had gotten an infection that’s what we’d do. A tattoo artist isn’t a doctor. Also a trusted Tattoo artist wouldn’t get upset, if their client got an infection, everyone’s skin is different. This story is banana’s. I’m sending this to everyone.
As a person who has 7 tattoos (planning the 8th one currently, healed all of them successfully), I can say that tattoo was definitely done very "heavy handed" and it WAS infected. The client's skin will be scarred for sure after this. I'm sensitive to second skin, so I always use the "traditional" method to heal my tattoos by using a light tattoo healing cream with plastic foil wrap in the first few critical days (changed in every 4 hours, using a gentle antibacterial cleansing at each change, using only paper to dry it gently so no fibre and bacteria can go in the wound from the towel etc.). If the tattoo artist didn't go too rough on the skin, respected all the hygiene rules during the tattooing and properly informed their client about the after care (and they followed up with it!), then the healing process should go without complications. This clearly didn't happen in this case. The client's only mistake was acting out of desperation (which is understandable, an infection this close to major blood veins is no joke). Based on this guy's social media you can see he is a major @sshole with no talent and no respect. But unfortunately a lot of people, specially people who is about to do their 1st tattoo often make the mistake that they don't check properly who they are going to, so this is why he can still be in business unfortunately. Do your researches, it is your body and your health folks.
I’ve had reactions to both ink and to saniderm on 2 separate tattoos. Nothing about that photo suggests an allergic reaction; that is flat out infected. I’m always amazed at how absolutely horrible people can keep their businesses running for as long as they do. They need to have health inspectors check that shop out.
I have quite a few tattoos and that one is DEFINTLY infected. I know someone who's allergic to second skin, the area around the tattoo gets puffy, red and blotchy like hives. He said it itches like crazy but still uses it because he likes how uncontaminated it keeps the tattoo.

Psa: to everyone I am no longer associated with infinite ink or tattoopaul blaney I do not condone his behavior or how he talks to women! I am a woman's woman! I am still tattooing that will be told later on. To my clients thank you so much for supporting me and my work I really appreciate it! Hopefully I'll see some of you around! Again thank you all so much here's to the next chapter in my career
Having a tattoo get infected is really scary. I've have a lot of tattoos and thankfully that's never happened to me.
I love tattoos. My skin develops keloid scar tissue so badly so I’ve never gotten any. But this is scary!!!!
Love how they blame the doctors as well... for an infected tattoo, yes, you should get an antibiotic and a strong one at that. Omg
Also, the "tattoos" on his page are so ugly it's laughable😂
me too i just went silent like 👀😂
I loved that he used the "r" word (and apparently not autocorrect) pretty early on, that's always such a reliable indication that everything else he says is fking stupid.
I’m from this area and I am rather tattooed. I would like to say from the West Virginia tattoo community, we do not claim him.
I am going to be shouting “grammar Paul!”, every time I see mistakes. 😂
And the thin is… I can’t even use grammar correctly and even I know it’s meant to be there!
Punctuation Paul! 😂😂😂
Balding incel with a terrible jawline AND a pencil neck. 😂

As someone who owns 3 tattoo studios i'm absolutely disgusted by this man.
Those of us who have several tats, and are part of the inked community know about, and tend to steer clear of him.

Once it heals, come back for your touch up!”
He’s the worst kind of tattoo artist!

Agreed. No tattoo artist can treat an infection. And tattoo artists should send customers with infections to the doctor.
"Nothing is as permanent in life as a tattoo... or herpes"
OMFG!! Robert's one liners are epic!! 😂😂😂😂😂
I’ve had reactions to both ink and to saniderm on 2 separate tattoos. Nothing about that photo suggests an allergic reaction; that is flat out infected.
