For the price this is a really fun Droid. I have the yellow colored version, but I wish Disney would have used a Orange and Black wire combo vs the all black for the yellow colored version and all orange for the white colored version. Makes no sense to me. As far as the size of Disney's remote..LOL Disney LOVES BRICKS. Same issues with their MSE Mouse Droid and other RC units.
Both droids seen in the video were bought from Double Boxed Toys here in the UK during different promotional offerings. They are pre-built, boxed products. If you were going to buy them in the parks the BD-1 would have been $109.99 USD & the R2 unit would have been $119.99 USD, however this R2 unit was a special for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary so price maybe different to other R2 units in the park.

Just bought one yesterday for $110
