- In this video, we each give our list of the only 5 whiskies you need for specific occasions. The criteria are Daily Drinker, Friday Night Pour, Perfect Mixer, Impress Your Guests, and Special Occasion Bottle. This was inspired by a Reddit trend that was popularized by @ADHDWhiskey @BourbonJunkies and others. We had a lot of fun making our lists and were surprised that we had different lists for the most part. Comment down below your list and let us know whose list you agree with more.

If you like knob creek and you want some new pick up a bakers 7 , I always look for one that is 8+ years old. Very good bourbon for the price.

Special: OF Single Barrel Barrel proof Rye.

Man, Im looking at these lists,and I feel like I'm the type to wear flip flops to a White House banquet.
Sticking to Bourbons, and keeping in mind that I'm really a low budget drinker:
Daily drinker, yes I drink it every day is Wild Turkey 101
Cheap mixer would be Evan Williams BIB
Friday Night, I'd select OGD 114
Something to surprise my friends, since it's so rare to find people that have tried it would be Mellow Corn. Yes, seriously.
Celebratory? Probably JD Single Barrel

Old forester rye - mixed (and great neat!!!)
Eagle Rare store pick - guest bottle
Woodford double oak - Friday pour
Knob Creek 15 LTD as long as I have it for celebration pour

One bottle covers it all: Wild Turkey Rare Breed. If you have to have an additional bottle for daily and or mixed drinks, add 101.
Rare breed is a great omen
I really want to like rare breed, and it’s not bad, but I tend to enjoy the Russell’s stuff more. I still have a bottle and keep going back. I enjoy it when I do drink it.
@@BigfootBourbonNerdI have yet to try Russels and keep hearing it’s good. Adding it to my list of bourbons to get.
Now what I want to see is this video being made after every 2 years. You’ll both have evolved palates and have tried so many new bourbons. When you’re both a 100 years old and make the video, that shall be the “Ultimate List”. Also which “one” bottle you think will last until the Ultimate List? 😂
