One of my favourite videos so far. Not only because the heating system is essential to live in the hut when it's cold, but it also helps tremendously with cooking proper meals.
My parents own a hut and in the cellar there is an old stove of my mum's grandparents. It's so satisfying to heat it and use the heat to cook something. Warmth and food... it's the little things that make us happy.

Besides something being perfect or not (something isn't more perfect than something else) this heating system is decent at best. Absolutely awesome young man! Of all the 'cabin builders' on YT, with especially your roof build and the correct insulation you've used, you're the ONLY one who's taken full consideration in correct engineering when it comes to the 'R-Value' to stay warm! Yes, you'll have the MOST comfortably warm cabin of all the builds, and done right!

Erik has amazed me from the start. He is only like 19, and has demonstrated skills that guys three times his age do not have. He approaches everything he does with consideration, determination and a sense of perfection, and somehow manages to film, edit and present it with that same style and precision. I have known some very accomplished craftsmen, but they were all of advanced age, having garnered their knowledge and skills over their lifetimes. Apparently, Erik is a natural.

If we had you on the cold winter nights we wouldn’t be in any hurry to get artificial heat. Truth is I wish we had UA-cam in my day, so many brilliant ideas. You can show the younger generation that you can do things for themselves.

Nice job. Very beautiful whatbyou have built. It seems there are other videos to this. I've only seen this one. What you built looks amazing but im a little worried about your "liquid" pour on your firebox. That may not hold without cracking for very long. Enjoyed watching. Take care.
