But its nothing to compare others to because I have been into Death Metal before they were labeled Death Metal Slayer for a example were considered Thrash Metal back in "1983 to " 1990" when Death Metal was in a name of a song! Like Possessed Seven Churches in "1985" when it came out! It was Thrash Metal back then! Latitudinarian is a good song. The sound of double base drum however, reminds me the sound of my girlfriend knocking her finger nails on the wooden table, when she doesn't get her weekly allowance😂
Who the f@#k dislikes this album? I mean if you listen to death metal how can you not like it? If you don't listen to death metal, why did you came here in the first place?
Azazel Acheron Yep, I know and it triggers me. I wonder if they recorded them with the live mics. I don't know why he would intentionally mix them that loud. Maybe it's just me. The guy has mixed/engineered/produced a shit ton of good death metal records, though. www.metal-archives.com/artists/Scott_Burns/11774
Not at all, the album was mixed and mastered by Scott Burns after we, the band went home. This was his shitty work, so be it, it sold 40,000 copies regardless of the shit production! This was the last Master album recorded with triggers!
Thanks for the comments you guys, I was just bummed a bit that we had nothing to do with the mixes, but sometimes this happens. Glad you like it regardless!
The solos have a lot of the technical wizardry that Masvidal and Chuck had in common, but otherwise this sounds totally different than Human imo. This draws more from early Discharge and hardcore. Even the drums have a lot in common with 80s Discharge. The production is similar obviously though, that Florida Morrisound vibe

An underrated old school death metal gem. Better than their first album. I cannot think they have a bad song in both of them. But sound quality wise, the mixing is a little... weird and overuses a lot of triggers. Nonetheless, its great. Later albums didnt make such hits. They are not bad, but pretty... generic.
I actually like The Spirit of the West and For More Years of Terror, but after a while I thought maybe I had enough with Master? I don`t know, Its just my opinion to
A really good death metal band can make a good death metal album by not using blast beats, not that blast beats can't be good when used sparingly. Master succeeded.

And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit” (Revelation 9:1-2)
The streets and the cities
The alleys of woe
The forces of hatred
Are out of control
They lurk in the fields
Alone in the night
A sickly perversion, excursion
That's not in sight
“And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death…” (Revelation 9:5-6)
He travels the streets
Different weapons in hand
He searches for victims
Befriends the demand
Ridding the world of
The homeless disease
Laughing out loudly
Ignoring their pleas
Victims of the chosen
Have been clearly marked and pushed aside
Many body parts were frozen
Simply just a waste of life
Eating the flesh of the virgins
The taste of blood
Picking the brains of desertion
Forever more
Stabbing the hearts of the weakened society
Killing the worthless for pleasure now
Raping the dead it's so silent
A twist of fate
A wave of sick violence
A question of give and take
Taxpayers earning just
Feed them the deathly row
The chair gathers dust
As they age in their cell
Documented murders often
Skip the press and go unsolved
Morbid visions, gross divisions
Multiply the cause of death
You fucking heathen!
Go back to hell, right where you fucking came from!

Left us midway through
A cowardly way out
The alcoholic way
A loser there's no doubt
A weakling in disguise
He's 31 years old
Supported by his friends
He'll never leave his home
Guided by his peers
A follower at best
Success his only fear
He'll never lead the rest
His demon is his crutch
In life he has no clue
Consuming way too much
And acting like a fool
Left us midway through
A cowardly way out
The alcoholic way
A loser there's no doubt
A weakling in disguise
He's 31 years old
Supported by his friends
He'll never leave his home

Oh pitiful for smoggy skies
With amber lanes of waste
With dreadful mountain poverties
So many infants slain
America, America
God shed his death on thee
No livelihood, it's just no good
From sea to blackened sea
Time ticks away, but still they play
With plans of conquering
The industry, they think they're free
Toy soldiers of the damned
America, America
God shed his death on thee
No livelihood, it's just no good
From sea to blackened sea
Oh beautiful for spacious skies
With amber waves of grain
With purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain
America, America
God shed his grace on thee
With crown thy hood and brotherhood
From sea to shining sea
9. Whose Left to Decide 04:13 Hide lyrics
Existence of his presence is his goal
Flawless lessons strengthen his control
Illustrations rest upon the walls
Worship him but soon the devil calls
[Chorus]:
Pledge to the one, the one who wallows
Worship the son, son of sorrow
Pledge to the one, the one who follows
Worship the one, no tomorrow
The hopes and the dreams
Of the one who achieves
Pleasures of flesh
They'll be down on their knees
Father and daughters
The bond will erase
Tortures of fires
The smile on his face
The threat to existence
Involves many forms
The thought of resistance
The power forewarns
Evil verses sorrow in our lives
Borrowing the souls left to decide
Afterlife a question no replies
A fallacy the preacher has no eyes
[Chorus]
Pledge to the one, the one who wallows
Worship the son, son of sorrow
Pledge to the one, the one who follows
Worship the one, no tomorrow
Look at the graves of the thousands who've died
No one remembers who is left to decide
The flowers have wilted the maggots arrive
Who the hell cares where you go when you die
The church is in ruins the memories erased
The preacher will die and I spit in his face

You dumb fuck....
Didn’t know Paul Masvidal played on this album
He just did the leads
An underrated old school death metal gem. Better than their first album. I cannot think they have a bad song in both of them. But sound quality wise, the mixing is a little... weird and overuses a lot of triggers. Nonetheless, its great. Later albums didnt make such hits. They are not bad, but pretty... generic.
I actually like The Spirit of the West and For More Years of Terror, but after a while I thought maybe I had enough with Master? I don`t know, Its just my opinion to
Great album!
DO CARALHO
Varg vc falou a verdade eles tem conteúdo não são falsos
Is It a real drumer or Is It a Rhythm box?
Thats how death metal sounds like
Fodidão
Não tem pra bater, é pau na moleira
A really good death metal band can make a good death metal album by not using blast beats, not that blast beats can't be good when used sparingly. Master succeeded.
If you love master you need to check out super underrated death metal sensation the news boys
Newsboys are brutal as fuck!
The last great album (personal taste)
