In this video we show you how to :
1. remove the bottom shelf of the Samsung french door refrigerator.
*Once you have loosen the shelf, now rotate the shelf 45 degress from the left side to pull it out.
2. how to remove the glass from the bottom shelf, becareful you might break the glass.
The glass has two clips that can be removed. Flip the shelf over and push on the clip tabs to release the clips. After removing both of the clips, hold the glass and rotate the shelf for a second time. lift the glass slightly and pull out the glass.

1. Remove both fruit and vegetable drawers. To remove the drawers, angle them slightly toward the center of the fridge as you slide them out.
2 Next, Locate the tabs on both sides of drawer divider/water filter housing.
3 Press in on the tabs and separate the shelf from the water filter housing.
4 Now, remove the shelf by slightly lifting up as you pull it out.
TIP: It helps if you angle one side of the shelf downward as you pull it out of the fridge.
5 Locate the shelf glass retainer clips. The retainer clips are located on the back left and right corners where the glass meets the white plastic.
6 After carefully turning the shelf over, and placing it on a clean flat surface, locate the tabs that hold the retainer clips in place.
7 Lift each of the back corners (one at a time) of the shelf and gently push in on the tab that is holding the clip in place. NOTE: Only push in on the side of the tab that is closest to the center of the shelf.
8 Once both clips are removed, gently raise the shelf and then separate the glass from the shelf frame.
9 Clean the glass panes with water and a mild detergent or glass cleaner and wipe dry with a clean lint-free cloth.
10 To reinstall the glass shelf, repeat the previous steps in reverse.

This video helped me a lot. Thank you! Do you happen to have a solution for getting it clean inside the two bottom drawers? The fronts of the drawers lock on, but they leave a gap where crud can get in. I’d send a pic if I could. I can’t seem to get that part clean now. I’m not so sure I like this fridge design. I barely was able to remove the bottom shelf without breaking it. Matter of fact, if it wasn’t for you I probably would have broken it. That plastic is brittle and the clips aren’t easy to deal with.

I don’t see clips to push I have3 tabs that don’t seem to move

@@estebancarrillo6103 no I called Samsung they sent me videos I’d already watched I tried to lift the tab on top at the back it broke off so I ended up breaking the other one to get the glass out never found a tab to push on a the shelf is attached it the water filter it’s clean now but shelf and glass were one piece and shelf snapped onto water filter with tabs that once on don’t come off where you pushed I was able to put fingers all the way through. You… you didn’t show how to remove the bottom shelf. It’s already removed when you start, and pushing those clips together does nothing for me. The whole filter assembly still lifts up with the shelf even with those clips pushed in. Guess I’ll have to go find another video that actually SHOWS me how to remove the shelf.

My God! That was one of the worst things I have ever had to to! Trying to orient the shelf correctly to remove it then angle it back it...invented 28 new curse words trying to do it all. Don't let anyone help you. You will be very close to a divorce or losing a friend when you do this. Hope to never have to do this again for at least five to ten more years from now.
Samsung....not a good idea! This is a pain. I'm not cleaning this for a long time after this!
