I am now looking to get another HT but was not sure if I should/wanted to get the Yaesu HT or another Anytone. I feel good now that the Anytone is a good choice for me. Again, thank you!
I'm thinking I'll stick with my FT3D, and my Kenwood D74 but the Anytone is looking more tempting the more I see of it. I have the Ailunce HD1 but I think the Anytone will be another good edition to the shack. There's always more room for more radios lol.
I have noticed that when you delete a channel in front panel programming, it remains unavailable for modification. I suppose the ADMS14 will solve this?
Yaesu need to work on their styling I think. The 878 looks like a proper radio, the 5d looks a bit "toy like" to me. The orange buttons don't help either.
That is a negative on that I already have the FT5, And I have debating on getting I'm getting the any tone just for that reason, We only have one fusion repeater here and we only have 1 DMR repeater here but but if I get Internet I plan to get a bridge where I can talk all over

Coming from a FT3D, the new 5D looks like a Baofeng Yaesu ripoff. Prefer the 3D appearance.
