This was the first machine that caught my attention at the show. Its a really cool bagging station. I hope Kyle starts a channel too. He's definitely got the voice and attitude for it. Awesome capturing this thing in action Mike💪
Great guys. Say the Vepak machine online and the guy wanted me to pass it along to a gentleman i know that does the Mobil stores in St Louis. If they are doing 50,000 bundles. A few years and that machine paid for itself or in less times. Roughly 400 hours spent just making the bundles, however that is a lot of time cutting and splitting the lohgs into bundle grade firewood. Great video!
Hello Bill! Thanks for watching! They were all very nice and genuine guys. Just excited about their product. Those are the kind of people you hope really succeed!
@@DanielAtkinsFirewood i did the quick math…60 full cords bagged in 3/4 cu ft packages is 10,240 bags. 300 full cords would be 50,000 3/4 cu ft bags. Maybe in a year or two you could get one?!
@KNLFirewood : I would have to flood my market with bundles just to complete and get started. At this time, I am not interested as my market is already saturated with them..
@@DanielAtkinsFirewood just the volume of wood it would take to make 50,000 bundles is mind boggling. Not that either of us want that type or volume of business 🤣
Mike, there was a blue auto bundler at the 2022? PB show. Heard it got a massive jam that they had to take things apart (Can anyone confirm that?). This one looks alot more simpler. This machine IS NOT for us 'hobbist' - lol
Yes there was a blue one there last year. Can’t remember the name. I didn’t hear about the jam 🤣! This thing seemed to work well. Well enough for Kyle to buy 2 of them 😳!
this thing costs over 80.000 eur in Europe (latest I asked). What the main issue is, as a buyer of firewood, try to extract the firewood from the net. It is a hassle. Net is not a good packing solution. Box, maybe.
Hello! I agree. The bags aren’t great. We’re trying out a rubber coated mesh bag. Not been featured on the channel yet, but soon. Keep watching for details!
@@dioncurline3266 I'm not sure. I don't own the machine, just saw it at Paul Bunyan 2023 and made a video. Reach out to Kyle Crawford at High Country Firewood. He'd know. He uses them. I suppose it would depend on the size of the bag too.

He’s a super cool guy! I’m kind of surprised he’s not already doing stuff on youtube. Too busy making bags apparently!!

Hey Craig! Right! If you’re making 50,000 bags per year you’re on a whole different level.
Yeah, That is all this guy does is Mobil Gas Stations. He does not deal with Cord Wood at all. @@KNLFirewood
Hello Craig
Nice job, that is a sweet machine. We wanted to get a video but never got to it. The VEPAK guys were very nice.
Thanks! Nice people and cool machine. I could rent that thing for like 10 days and have enough bags for a lifetime!
That bundler was awesome! Neat story behind the young man who engineered it too. Great vid Mike! I hope your channel goes viral too👍🏻👍🏻
Ole and Kyle were pretty interesting guys. He’s in a whole different universe when it comes to bags.
Thanks for the in depth video on the Vepak machine and they are very personable!

Scuttle butt around the industry says KNL Firewood made a down payment on one of those. Goin big time.
Well, you know how scuttle butt is sometime. Occasionally they get the story all mixed up. But keep watching anyway, you might see one 🤣
That thing was amazing to watch run, definitely a money maker in the right market.
Ramping up to make 500,000 bags! That’s a ton of bags!
That is one serious bundle maker there…you will need a fleet of trucks to haul all those bundles 🤩🤯 Rick
You really would. 52 weeks a year, 5 days a week…that’s roughly 2,000 bag per day!
@@KNLFirewood Mike, I really enjoy firewood…….but NOT that much 🤓
I saw video of this machine from another show. Impressive for sure! Bet it's a pretty penny too
130,000 big ones!
@@KNLFirewood 😲🤑
Great video on the bagging machine. I sure wish that I could have made it to dinner and the Live stream. Later
Hi Allen! I hope you’re feeling better. There is always next year.
That was an interesting machine to watch for sure
Yes it was. I’m not sure all of us combines could make/sell 50,000 bags!
That was a cool machine !!!!
Yes sir!
That’s pretty cool! I wonder if it’s limited to 13” firewood pieces? Thanks for sharing Mike👍👍
13" is the largest option we have at the moment, yes.
Hi Jeremiah! 13” is where they are right now but I bet if you order one they’ll make the shoot 16” for you 🤣
Wow half a million bundles is there plan... Mike you gotta show him how it's done! Lol .
Even 50,000 bundles is a lot of bundles.
I was thinking about that when I was editing. 50,000 bags in a lifetime is pretty impressive…this guy…whole different level.
Wow Mike. That’s quite a machine. 50,000 bags and wants more !! Any idea what it costs ?
Have a great day 🪵🪓👋🚜👍🏻
Hi Noel! 130K
@@KNLFirewood A lot of bags of wood to pay for that. 👍🏻👋🪵🪓
Wow what a nice looking machine..
They have a really nice machine for guys producing a ton of firewood. I couldn’t imagine making 50,000 bags.
@@KNLFirewood: Same here.. but I only do a small 60 full cords a year..

How many bags per 1m3 of wood
I'm not sure what you mean by "1m3"....one cubic meter??
@@KNLFirewood yes 1 cube meter
How many bags when you put 1m3 of loose wood in the Hopper
