The song of my high school life. I listened to this everyday on my way to and from school. I miss those day so much. This song will always have a special little spot in my heart. 💕
Honestly guys, this song is probably the best this genre has ever heard. It is a timeless song that carries energy, emotion, and especially at the time it was something nobody had ever heard before. Tyler Carter is EASILY the best singer in the genre (yes Jonny Craig is good, but cmon now, listen to Tyler) and the technical work is flawless. It gets my vote as one of the best ever; great job by the original Woe Is Me, and rock on, Issues.
Years later I can still say that this is pretty solid. I really enjoyed this record back then, and now I can look back and see how Woe Is Me were kinda unique. They were catchy and had the basic elements of post hardcore from that era but they put their own sparkles and created a sound different. Well, this record rocks.
Woe, Is Me was so underrated and a tremendous band. Those guys are better than a lot of bands from the "principal cast" on that era of Rise Records, i sincerely don't know why they release the band on Velocity.
Selena Switchblade Issues is good too, but I think Woe Is Me on Number[s] was more timeless and less trendy. I still listen to this album like it just came out.
Yeah I listen to issues too, but their newer stuff is just leading them down a pop jazz driven path by Tyler.. So its disappointing. Woe is me will always be so much better in every way
