Visitor come to my room and see all the trash I made.
Stay a while, I'm on the verge of laying it down.
A vagabond, and all his trash in search to find his crown.
Your mind is like a candle stick, my ambitions are constantly burning out.
I'd hate to, rain on your parade,
But everything you know is taken by this flood,
You were blind but there's no hope.
Dig a hole but there's no blood,
Who am I to pretend, who am I to recommend there is something less.
Than timelines and whores that drag you back to the floor, and cut your eyes out.
Find me, oh Saint, I'm bending, breaking, at my knees, praying.
I've exposed, this earth has taken pride in seeing my, most vulnerable state.
I find no humor in letting yourself stray away, from those pictures.
When they cause you to see shame in yourself, you can run from your problems.
But they'll follow you like a trend,
One shot to forgetting, six shots to falling in the end.
I was the king, of kings, I stand for one rule, and one rule for myself, as a man.
I will fall and as my son you've watched it all.
Behind every mask, lies a man, who can't live in his own skin.
He lives by the flask, he bathes in his past, and he dies by his own sins.
"Behind every mask, lies a man, who can't live in his own skin.
He lives by the flask, he bathes in his past, and he dies by his own sins."
That hits the hardest
Jesus christ. Vessel comes sadly to mind.
Back when Woe were absolutely fucking incredible.
true that
.
Honestly they were good till the very end
@@thegraintrain5255 On a very different scale, I think so. But by the end they were almost a completely new band, their style wasn't as sporadic and melodic, and their songs/lyrics were primarily based on the feud they had with Issues/past members - it almost became very petty and childish.
To me, they went from a 10/10 to maybe a 3 or a 4. But if I look at WIM towards the end as a completely different band, I'd say they were still "good", sure. I still bought the album (Genesis) and still play some of their songs today. So they weren't all bad. Just I see this (Delinquents and the "Number[s]" album) as their prime for sure.
yeah, before Tyler Carter went on an ego trip and released a ton of shitty pop music. Bro never realised his talent was perfection in Woe, is Me.
Metalcore with synth was an excellent trend during those days. I'd kill to have stuff like this in recent times. This song is an absolute throwback. I miss Woe, Is Me.
Thornhill and the album the dark pool. Very similar vibe, amazing album as well. Coven or lily and the moon first listen
@@DeoFavento whole album cranks
Metal core with synth? Listen to Enter Shikari. One of my favourite bands and seen them live twice.
Kingdom of Giants - Passenger album.
@@bvanquish777 dude!!! I was gonna suggest this! I was meant to see Kingdom of Giants 8 times on the Crystal Lake tour but Covid cancelled it 😭 I was only going for KOG and Caskets lol
I honestly miss this haha. My favorite part about this song is the fact that it constantly grabs your attention. How come there are no bands like this anymore?!
right
+Chris Fronzak Just wait for Into The Night
+Im Jonnyboy Who's that?
+Im Jonnyboy Email me a track, I wanna take a listen: BusinessFronz@gmail.com
I'm still heartbroken over THIS band not being around anymore. I said that in all uppercase because fuck everything other than Numbers and Fame > Demise.
almost 2030 boys and girls! who's still playing this on repeat?
count me in
Me sir
Sou brasileiro e vira e mexe eu venho aqui pra sentir nostalgia e ver um vocal gostoso
I do
@Metal Head goat milk my friend
The fills this drummer creates are so underrated any genre.
Feels like he's poppin off the entire song... So sick.
this song has all the good elements of crabcore/metalcore without being too annoying or offputting. Boyband vocals, synths, breakdowns, screams. Ahhhh
cool guy i saw you in some metal vids
I miss this music. Nowadays it's rare to find such bands with simple and hooking breakdowns and such beautiful choruses.
Issues is such an amazing band, but nothing is better than Woe, Is Me with the original members.
They made magic for a temporary time
Poison the well
Amazing? I guess shitty as fuck means amazing in your dictionary
@@victorrancor90 Music is subjective. Whatever, dude.
@@victorrancor90 Issues is great, fuck off
The true roots of what we hear now, before bands like Issues truly surfaced. This is a 💎
Lol before hance alligood
Years later I can still say that this is pretty solid. I really enjoyed this record back then, and now I can look back and see how Woe Is Me were kinda unique. They were catchy and had the basic elements of post hardcore from that era but they put their own sparkles and created a sound different.
Well, this record rocks.
og woe is me was godlike
Honestly guys, this song is probably the best this genre has ever heard. It is a timeless song that carries energy, emotion, and especially at the time it was something nobody had ever heard before. Tyler Carter is EASILY the best singer in the genre (yes Jonny Craig is good, but cmon now, listen to Tyler) and the technical work is flawless. It gets my vote as one of the best ever; great job by the original Woe Is Me, and rock on, Issues.
Thank you for mentioning Jonny Craig
Agreed I hold him with Jonny and Anthony green as Amani vocalist
Kyle Inman It's debatable, I find Howard Jones to be far superior.
I'd deffs have to give it to Jonny but Ty is a very close second
Excellent song, the lyrics are divine and so is Tyler's vocals. The synth really added something strong.
It's 2020 boys and girls! Who's still playing this on repeat?
Fuck yeah! Miss these guys
For Tyler 🤤
дада:)они крутые
Me! ✋
Me
The song of my high school life. I listened to this everyday on my way to and from school. I miss those day so much. This song will always have a special little spot in my heart. 💕
BbyTraz same! Always!
I remember the first time I listened to this album my freshman year of college. I was blown away with how amazing this album was. It still is. This album was a game changer.
Josh Ray best album in the entire hardcore genre
ikr! i also first listened to this my freshman year of colleg
I'm still loving this song.
Tyler Carter's voice is unique and original. Every band may sound the same, but they're all original and unique in there own way.
My cousin showed me this year it came out. Damn those years feel like cherry waves
it's been 9 years and i still feel like this is the best album post-hardcore has ever given us
This takes me back to them feely feels
Even though you are gone, your music is never forgotten.
Forever a fan, love you Woe Is Me.
2024??❤
THE BOYS ARE COMIN BACK
one of the sickest albums for drumming
James Howell I’m a guitarist and I can’t get over how good those drums were even if they were programmed and shit
The drums were 100% programmed
Stef James Nice Joke
true!
Austin’s drumming is some of the most generic and repetitive in the genre lmao.
Tyler's voice♥
XSunjayXlovesXkatXlovesXbloodX What about it? It isn't that great :/
Woe, Is [S]unjay Haha, thanks, mate.
Woe, Is [S]unjay Well, I appreciate that a lot. Thank you.
woaxxerica Sure thing, just don't forget me :)
Woe, Is [S]unjay I won't.
this time era of woe is me will forever be better than anything issues ever produces.
oh my god why were they so perfect
Truer words have never been spoken
Selena Switchblade Issues is good too, but I think Woe Is Me on Number[s] was more timeless and less trendy. I still listen to this album like it just came out.
Yeah I listen to issues too, but their newer stuff is just leading them down a pop jazz driven path by Tyler.. So its disappointing. Woe is me will always be so much better in every way
Selena Switchblade Numbers is the best album of all time, everyday i hear the album a lot of times :)
WoeisEuTu [&] ahhh same same!!
Who’s still jamming out here in 2019?
You already know!
Always!
I just wanted to listen to spongebob music
What was the reason they don't tour anymore?
Jonathan Vida they aren’t together pretty sure I know the band broke up years ago
The golden age of metalcore and posthardcore.
Tru
Jack Hinrichs i prefer post hardcore i like some metalcore bands but true metal is true metal.
Zambic Games True metal is stuff like 80s heavy metal, thrash, black metal ect. LOL
but metalcore and posthardcore are great regardless.
***** I can't believe you didn't mention Underoath, you silly goat.
Jack Hinrichs nah, it was 2007/08
(&) Delinquents , ISSUES Version would be awesome to heard. hahaha
hardcore girl
+EpicGirlGaming The Slipknot Fangirl Y menos mal que no eres emo, me cae muy mal esa gente. Por cierto, los emo de ahora, no los de antes
Nah they would probably mess it up putting some jazzy shit in there....This is perfection
Randy Evan SO TRUE
sic sic sic Emo isn't edgy anymore. It's moved on from those days.
Also, emo has nothing to do with metal, so why are you talking about the genre on a metal video?
I just cant let this song go man
2:26 eeeeee
Why is this part so.. YES 😤
his voice 🤌🤌
Just went and saw these boys on their first show back in 10 years. Fucking incredible.
Back when Woe, Is Me was good... and had all the original members... Easily my favorite band in the type of music this is
One of the best metalcore bands in history
This is sick, never listened to them but I'm an Issues diehard and definitely feelin it. Awesome song.
They’re coming back boots and girls!!!
Numbers is still my fav album of all time ❤
Love Tylers singing and Michaels screaming.
I kinda think maybe this was ahead of its time
I remember these guys playing in Birmingham Al, wayy back probably ten years ago at this point, they were touring with as blood runs black and a few others, came out on stage and said “we’re just some Georgia bois that like to bounce and proceeded to open with this and BLEW my mind, HOOKED ever since then.
All time classic..
This whole album will never get old.
back before all the beef. God it was beautiful 😢
I'm more of a death metal/progressive metal fan, but while this song is a tad overproduced, it's a well written song, with a singer that can actually sing...this is as good as post-hardcore/screamo/whatevercorethekidsarecallingitthese days gets. To those who like it, congrats you got something pretty damn good here. More power to you all, music as one.
Oh, how I wish this lineup were still together.
How I miss that era 😣 This song is legendary ❤️
Whatever happened to their Facebook link? That link doesn’t work anymore.
Ghost Killer Entertainment 2019!!!
Tyler just revived their Instagram though
It turned into Favorite Weapon
It got turned to Favorite Weapons Facebook page (Hance Alligoods solo band) when that was a thing then it got deleted again.

1:44 on repeat in 10 years is something
When a drummer consistently carries your band. Woe is me.
If you’ve seen the history behind this band you’ll see he’s the reason the band fell apart in the first place
thats what happens when you know youre doing the carrying @@thatoneguy2136
The band lost most of its uniqueness when Tyler and Tim left the band. Wasn't Austin carrying the band 😂
Welcome back dudes.
This song is what got me into metalcore
got to see one of their first shows. very much in the same boat haha.
hapki9 Same
True shit bro. This is what got me into great music.
Me too
2022 Still a banger
I'm still here August 2020!!!
where all my 30 year old boys at still listening
A few years younger but I'm here
And I still don't understand what this video is about. RIP Woe, is me. You will be missed in the metalcore world
It's about an old man looking for something through a microscope.
It's about alcoholism :)
Listen to the lyrics.
Joan Tr kek
Joan Tr iAmTheTrueWarrior Apparently he watches the band playing in his microscope. But since he's old, he should be like : "OMG why are these young guys so noisy ?".
No seriously, I wonder what it's REALLY about. But it really seems that the band is playing in the microscope. Maybe the man understands the message of the song and tries to do something about it.
Adoro esta banda ♥♥♥
Good
Listening in February 2017, yeeeet! Throwing it back to the OG era
Tyler was such a baby😭❤
For a ten year anniversary of this song coming out they should remake this song with all the original members just in idea
10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TOUR LETS GO
FUCK. Covid happened.
Where has time gone? I’d sell my soul to go back 11 years in time… I miss this scene, this music, this it all
in the loving memory of the duo micheal and tyler :'(
TrinityRVx Yea too bad Michael got kicked out of Issues kinda a douche move of Tyler nd the rest of the Band
the scientist was like:
"lets check this sample under my microscope"
*sees Woe is Me screaming at him*
"MOTHER OF GOD!!!.....i...i may have found the cure for cancer!"
you have cancer, good
yaaaaaaay
After years and years of having watched this video i finally understand whats going on in it....
@@nicolashalac3420 which is.....?
Holy shit, this song was so fucking good.
top metalcore band for its time, no debate
Still watching this masterpiece in 2017
Same here!
can you edit it again?
2019 :)
Lmfao I saw your comment on the most recent of mice and men song, talking about aaron when he was in Jamie's elsewhere. Saw your name and had to come back and watch lol. These guys were the band that really opened up harder music for me. I miss these days of music lol.
Same
"Aww, boo hoo, let me play you a song on the world's smallest violin".
i fell for it too
yes play "woe is me"
lol
Only legends fell for this
x)))) (that's exactly the comment i expected)
Metal para sempre, para sempre metal 🤟🏾
Can't believe it's been over 10 years. Guess that proves, good music never dies.
i'VE TRANSPOSED THIS SONG RHYME FOR RHYME!!! IN SINGING ALL THE LYRICS THAT YOU MAKE
When woe is me was good
Did you honestly think for a second they’d played their final song?
this album is one of my favorite cds
Middle school memories
Early college for me brother!
I miss this sound so much. :(
They are officially back together again boys! (minus Carter)
And Sherrill
After knowing that the song is about Alcoholic addiction, the lyrics and the video suddenly made much more sense now
This band had so much potential, sad that the members were little girls who created a lot of drama. This band could have been HUGE
It was all Tyler imo
HaRdCoRe 466 Mind filling me in? Used to love this band back in middle school and was quite upset when they broke up.
@@ixnexus it wasn't Tyler lol
@hardcore4665 It was Austin not Tyler lol. If it was Tyler then Bohn and Ferris bros wouldnt have left after Tyler did.
Sad to come back to watch this video, never saw them live, takes me back, I love these guys, I wish they would reunite. Makes me wana fk shit up when I here them 🤘😈
i honestly prefer tyler and michael on wim than issues….
How about doriano?
Its been 14 years, and Number[s] is still the best album in the history of the genre. I miss this Woe, is me formation so much.🥲
Issues is nothing like this :/
This has aged well! Hoping for a comeback with these guys and attack attack!
Theres Issues
That’s never gonna happen bud.
@@hardcore4665
Attack Attack is back and Tyler got Kicked out of issues so it totally could
@@spottedmunkey5059 hahah I seen
But I didn’t fw attack attacks single, just how I feel
And damn the thing about Tyler leaving is that
Issues is now now stuck like woe is me was
So idk man Tyler was the star of the band and idk how it’s gonna work now
2023 anyone ??
The answer is no, I am not listening to you and anyone else asking this stupid question. Do I have to listen to your comments and answer your horrible questions? Hell no! What if somebody (Not comments on social media) actually said that to me. Damn this bullshit that you and any immature guys put, even if it's partally related to certain video or audio, yet almost all are compelety unrelated. Do me a favor and delete your comment right now?
THE BOY[S] ARE BACK!
I wish Tyler and Michael could bring this to issues
yup me too, I wish issues could at least sound like like whatever genre woe, is me was, now michael doesn't even scream that much anymore
+Sebastianbaraj5 screaming is hard on your vocal cords most people have to get surgery on them. he's probably taking it easier on them lately
mitch c that's not at all true lol
so much production.. you can't reproduce this live.
What do you mean? You just back track the synth parts Ben can't play lol
sorta missing the point
So much potential. Issues is good but will never hold a candle to original Woe, Is Me. Same goes for Dance Gavin Dance.
Saw them live in 2012 and I'll never forget it.
Its a shame they all had to fight like little girls and ruin woe, is me. Issues is cool but if woe is me's 2nd album was gonna be anything like fame>demise then it would of been waaay better then genesis and issues self titled
Austin was controlling and being manipulative.
Luke Bullard
shut up
I really have no idea exactly what about you dudes, but i have been looking for a band like these for a extremely long!
*watch?v=js6TBze6vNA*
Damn, I really like it!
You might want to youtube it
little girls.. bc little boys dont fight.... Anyways, tbh this one and fame>demise are 2 of their best songs
Nah issues self titled better then this
Wow, Enrique Iglesias is on a post-hardcore band now? Cool.
metalcore
Ghanem Al Kuwari wow... sorry :/
Well at least the closest we have now is Issues, RIP Woe Is Me 2009-2013
in my opinion, issues is not even remotely close to this. in my opinion the closest thing to this would have to be outline in color. if you don't know them, check them out. (y)
well let's just say different people different opinions :). The reason I said that is because the former Woe is Me members are in Issues, and it kinda brings the feel back.
Issues is more Rapcore. Again I like the old Woe Is Me, and I like Issues to. I agree Outline in Color is a really good band. The lead clean vocalist even sings better than Tyler Carter in my opion.
Rapcore is mainly rap music with elements of metal music: distorted guitar, unclean vocals,"raping" vocals and synthesizer beats/rhythms. Issues is more towards metalcore with some R&B...I don't see how Issues can be called Rapcore -- since Rapcore is more heavily upon Rap...why else would it be called RAPcore?
Matt W "Raping Vocals"
I'm here in 2022 and so happy they're coming back 🔥
chasing nostalgia as this is the last post-hardcore shit i will ever like :'(
+Alex McGinnis-Yates what about issues?
Scott Coulthard I like issues a lot, they're really unique though so i don't think i'd classify them as post hardcore
+Alex McGinnis-Yates Check out Thats Outrageous!, Lifelike (to make sure you get the right band, look up "lifelike all or nothing"), or call it home. The last 2 bands have not broken up yet and are touring I believe
Jon Forbes I didn't like That's Outrageous at all but I haven't heared of lifelike so i'll check that out, thanksyo
Take my bagel, sell my road rage, bagel was just a man!!!!!!!!!
Literally laughed and almost blew my coffee out of my nose on my keyboard at work. Greatness!
There will never be a band like Woe, Is Me for a long time. The reason I loved them so much was because their lyrics really approached the concept of following your dreams, not caring about your enemies who are out to get you & bring you down, & to overall never give up. They also had a unique pop/soul feel to the metal which REALLY stood out. Plus, Tyler Carter. Not gonna lie he made this band stand out a lot too..
well said my friend, well said
2021 anyone?
It's such a shame seeing such a great band go to waste. If this exact line-up stayed together their music would be amazing. Don't get me wrong, I liked Genesi[S] I just feel this line-up was the absolute best!
woej I liked genesi[s] but I don't like that the album was targeting Tyler and Michael
Sad Prodigy genesis was the one targeting them. This album was numbers if that's what you mean? Lol
They had the best crabcore sound compared to other bands, it's a Shame the band didnt last long, Tim Sherrill and Cory Ferris really carried this band hard
