You did a great job on this. Might I suggest you back off on the treble and gain a little on your amp? PTV used orange rockerverbs on this album which are much darker sounding amps. You can really tell on the palm muted parts before the final chorus, your tone is more gritty than percussive like theirs

Yes I am! I’m using a Quad Cortex! And yes I definitely have noticed my tone was a bit on the trebley side after watching back a few times, I mainly use a Marshall plexi amp for my ptv tones
great cover man, also off topic but when you upload PTV covers, do you get your video partially blocked or is it fully public? i just finished working on a drella guitar cover, but it blocked my video when i uploaded it :/
Yo thanks man! Been a fan of your ptv covers for a good bit now! And some of them do yes, all of my jaws of life covers are blocked but only in like two countries, I know one of them is Belarus, russia and I’m not too sure about the other one. Are your videos blocked in a lot of countries or only a few?
@@ethanguitarcovers any videos involving any song from a flair for the dramatic gets blocked EVERYWHERE unfortunately.. thankfully tiktok doesn't remove my videos so i uploaded the drella cover there for now and am trying to find a way to upload it here on youtube
@@eyedin2545 hm that’s really odd, I haven’t uploaded any from ffad yet so I haven’t had any experience with it, I had a couple fall out boy covers get blocked everywhere but I just filed a claim on it saying I don’t own any rights to the song and I’m not making anything from it and it got unblocked after a few days. So my best recommendation would be to just try and see if you can file a report or get in contact with somebody at UA-cam and explain the situation to them.

Hey sorry for the late reply, got it from reverb! tony released a run of his signature guitars back in like 2016 but they sold out super fast but a few have popped up over the years on reverb so keep an eye out on there!
