Hi, the piece installed in my car, came out 2 days later! Any idea why!? The company will send me a new one, how can I make sure it will stay in place, 2nd time around!?
Use self tapping screws instead of the cheap ones that come with the lip itself. I would buy the 3M tape off of Amazon it will cost maybe about $10-15.
Hi, unfortunately they took the link down from eBay but you can look up "universal front lip" for your year make and model and one should pop up. Thanks for watching!
@@EVILAKUMA well i mean look up civic front lip if its not the first thing on the page. i had this lip on my hyundai. plus you can compare the look from the video to whatever on ebay
came off after awhile I did another one for a different car. This is the advice I gave somebody else if I did it over again "Use self tapping screws instead of the cheap ones that come with the lip itself. I would buy the 3M tape off of Amazon it will cost maybe about $10-15."
That would look better on a not 100% stock car with plastic rim thingy tho...like a lowered car with some sick wheels and the same kit for the side and rear of the car and dark windows for example.
Yes I used 3M tape and used the factory holes on the driver and passenger side. The lip came off after awhile so I'd recommend using self tapping screws for longer durability! Thank you for watching!
It would of been nice if you explained the reason behind doing this and how does this help the car and why you chose to put it on your car i have 2018 Honda civic ex similar to yours bought how does a lip for your car benefit you at all? Or does it decrease downforce and drag if so that i might find it worthwhile since it could save me more money on gas.. otherwise it's an accessory with zero benefits
I think in the video I said that I put the lip on just so when going over bumps it wont scrape as bad. The vehicle already gets 31-42 mpg and takes regular gas so I would not worry to much about that. Thanks for watching!
Highly recommend using self tapping screws instead of the cheap ones that came with the lip. But if the vehicle sits at stock ride height you shouldnt have any issues!
The lip looks great! However does seem out of place on the car from a side view. Hoping that matching side skirts were purchased to complete the look.
Neber got to see how it looks.
Too much snow over it
How well did it hold up I had similar one and if fell off within days

at least yours fit. mine is like 5" too long
does it fit to 2008 honda Accord 4drs?
Honestly you would have to check the description of the item to see if it fits. Thanks for watching!
I hope this fits on my si brother and what is that blower thing you had approximately how much that cost?
It is a Heat Gun I picked it up at Harbor Freight for like $12. Thanks for watching!
Hello, what size of the screws that you used? Thanks!
How's is holding up after 7 months?

It would!! We simply put it on just so it wouldnt scrape the bumper as bad. Thank you for watching!
u just used the 3M? did u have to make holes in bumper
Yes I used 3M tape and used the factory holes on the driver and passenger side. The lip came off after awhile so I'd recommend using self tapping screws for longer durability! Thank you for watching!
You think it would be possible to just use 3m tape instead of screws?
itscamberlyfe No. there is too much downforce you need around 10-15 screws or bolts
there's lots of down force like stated below . I'd recommend using screws.
Did you use the stock bolt also?
Yes there are two factory bolts one on the left and right side of the bumper. You just have to line it up correctly to use the oem hole.
TheZGuy what is the easy way to line the bolt?
@@Boxie740 Honestly just eyeballed it. Measuring might be easier.
The z guy. I though it was about the Datsun 240z 😅 or Nissan 300z

Does this lower your car?
It definitely makes it look lower
Nice job. Did you have to jack the car up or there was room underneath?
Thank you! I did have to jack the car up. If you don't have a jack I would recommend using the spare tire one or investing in one!
Do you have link on front lip sir?

Next time put the link loll this guy ..
Bro the sd card rating has nothing to do with capacity. It’s all about the read/write speed lol
Oh really? I must have got lucky then because my last sd card was terrible. Thanks for watching!
TheZGuy you good bro, nice video though! Helped me set mine up on my 2018 vw Jetta 😁
