It is difficult to find a restaurant that serves pork chops these days. As a child I remember enjoying thick, juicy pork chops that had the ring of fat which added taste.

I fry the thin cut chops but like to serve them fried with creamy mashed potatoes and fried mushrooms on the side. If I have a leftover pork chop, I make myself a pork chop sandwich
Если всё это посыпать пармезаном, добавить немног трюфеля и, чисто для эстетики, украсить красной и черной икрой, то вместо свинины можно взять стельку от старого дедушкиного керзового сапога и всё равно будет очень вкусно!
I just love how the pork chop was smothered in chicken stock and cream. I often wonder why chicken stock is used most often than other stock. I came to realize the reason when my brother and I began cooking new dishes that what we were used to: chicken stock is more abundant and can easily be made, especially in our area where majority of the populace raise poultry. It is apparent that the chicken and cream sauce has seeped in the pork yet not all the way to overpower the taste of the pork. This will be an awesome dish to cook during our planned office cookout sometime this week.
Looks delicious, and I intend to try it. I might make one 2 changes, specifically 1) substituting sweet apple cider for some of the chicken stock & 2) perhaps adding some apple cider vinegar to the cabbage wrap filling.
I do almost the same way except...I put a sprig of thyme on each side of the chop and then vacuum seal overnight. When making the gravy I had sriracha sauce, just a little. But if the meal is just for me, well then, I make it spicy. Cabbage rolls are almost identical...then a couple of beers with the meal. Great video...Frank, the old half German dude from NC.
I make this without the soy sauce but add rosemary, thyme, and parsley. We love them! The chops are nice and tender and flavorful. We serve them with mashed potatoes and a side vegetable. The gravy goes great with the potatoes.
That sounds absolutely delicious! Adding rosemary, thyme, and parsley must give the chops such a wonderful, fresh flavor. Serving them with mashed potatoes and vegetables sounds like the perfect comforting meal. And I can imagine how amazing the gravy must be with the potatoes - so satisfying🤗❤
Hello fellow Canadian! Exactly! I did it both ways. My family could not tell the difference and it was a fraction of the cost using a can of Campbells mushroom soup. So much cheaper too!

This is exactly the pork chop recipe I’ve been wanting - except it came a few months after my husband swore off pork! 😟 Maybe I’ll just do a pork chop feast for me someday. Looks delicious. Love the cabbage rolls except for the egg. Would have to substitute.
Pro tip. Fry the pork chops just like in the video. Instead creating the mushroom sauce, open a can of Campbells Mushroom soup and pour onto the pork chops. You will get the identical result with only 2 ingredients!
I’m going to try this recipe, it looks really good and simple….. I typically will cook the recipe as is and make changes I see fit, but this looks good as is…. I make a smothered pork chop but I use a cajun roux recipe I come up with years ago. I’ve only sharing with one person over the years. The best pork chops I have ever grilled were from Niman Ranch. They have the best marbling of any chops I have ever cooked. I usually cook them like steaks. Dry them thoroughly and apply your favorite dry rub. Let them rest for 30 minutes. Grill them over direct medium heat for about 4 minutes, flip and grill for another 4 minutes. Check them with an instant read thermometer. The desired doneness is 140 to 145 degrees. If they are below that temperature, move them to indirect heat until they reach 140 degrees.

The last time I bought pork chops, no matter how I cooked them, they came out tough enough to derail a train.
You have to add bicarb to it and wash it out after 15 minutes. Chinese method. I add soya sauce to it too.
These chops look bone dry also
You are cooking them too long. Try about 3 minutes each side. Don’t let them get over 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Good luck!
Mine too😢
