This video was even more funny when it dropped cuz it came out in *2004* they're making fun of things going on at that time. *Boy Bands* were all the rage *Bizarre* wearing the *green dress* is making fun of *Janet Jackson's* breast exposed at the super bowl halftime show & *Bizarre* is making fun of *50 cents (In Da Club)* music video etc
They are still friends. Proof was Em's best friend and was tragically killed in 2006... this was one of the reasons for Em's overdose in 2007. Con artist, aka Mr. Porter, has been Em's hype man on stage, since he returned in 2009. Before him , Proof was his hype man😥 Kuniva, Swift and bizarre all refer to Em as their brother... and vice versa... but D12 died with Proof😥😥
So true proof was well respected in Detroit. One reason his death hit hard for them. He even squashed the beef with ICP before he passed was always the problem solver
Lex seems like the most genuine decent person in the universe. Watching her discover old music for the first time is like witnessing pure innocence. The universe gave you a true gift Brad :) Much love to both of you.
D12 is the dirty dozen, six members, they all appear in em songs as either backing vocals or have verses, he shouts them out in songs constantly especially proof who was such a lyricist, they were all good though
D12 were actually very underrated. You have to react to these 2 now after this. D12 - Fight Music D12 - How Come 3rd song I would recommend Purple Hills which is a more jokey song similar to this one.
Man I wish there was an uncensored video for this song. It's hilarious to me that the only official music video was censored just given Em's music in general.
I love when u guys react to a song I suggest, this era of em is hands down one of the best of his career. He was like the top entertainer in rap at this time, when everyone else was tryna be too gangsta.
I went to Anger Management Tour like 25 years ago with these guys, Limp Bizkit, and Papa Roach...Eminem and D-12 ate some ecstasy on stage before doing Purple Pills.
Not a “bumper” today but when I tell you they Played this song the hell out it was everywhere like TRL all the radio stations had it on repeat it was nuts back in the day
Best reaction to this video ever, you totally got the whole point, could tell how much fun they were having, and could appreciate how they nailed what they were going for. Should check out Fight Music with lyrics next, some killer bars from Em.
you guys should react to each lead single of each album, to see his growth, and how his sound changed over his career also if you ever have a question, just ask the comments section, or search up on google, because it would make more sense at the time of watching the vid.
This was the golden era Shady aftermath D12 was big not as big as Eminem but before Eminem got his record deal his plan was with the other guys to come back and get them once he got big and that exactly what he did proof was his best friend and unfortunately was murdered in a nightclub they had another big song called Purple Pills or the radio edit version purple mountains as I was saying this was the Golden Era for shady aftermath you had Eminem D12 then 50 cent and his group G-Unit and Tech Nine all on Shady aftermath
U should check out their song "How Come" its about Royce da 59. And as far as if they are still friends check out Em's song stepping stone. He breaks down the whole story of him and D12
You two never disappoint 😂 have to start rating every song now on wether or not it’s a bumper. Bizarre is the big guy that had his shirt off - the part he did is a rip off of “50 cent in da club” when he’s working out
To take on a rock group persona where the lead singer always gets all the attention even *#Lex* has said on some *(Guns N' Roses)* videos *Axl Rose* seems like a prima donna. *90%* of all lead singers are primadonna's & that's what this video is joking about. Plus *Eminem's* this big Superstar & he's pulling some of his friends up because. *D12* existed before *Eminem* blew up & it's *6* of them but each of them have *2* names *Eminem/Slim Shady*
Yeah, this was full on slim shady! Hilarious - but wouldn’t get away with it now! I’m an older hip hop fan (mid 40’s) so remember all these tracks from back in the day! This was so funny because it was what a lot of people were saying at the time so they all decided to parody it! Most are still friends, Proof was one of Em’s ‘day ones’, really close in high school and did the freestyling circuit together for a few years before Em ‘made it’. Then when he got bigger, Proof was his hype man - they had great chemistry! Check them out doing ‘Without Me’ live at the MTV awards! He sadly lost his life 15 or 16 years ago (approx! Might be a bit longer), the effect this has on Em’s mental health was clear to see and his drug use escalated - I believe he continues to struggle with losing Proof to this day, he still mentions him any chance he gets. (Most recently in Killer Remix from last month where he says, ‘the only L I ever took was when I lost Proof’.) He has a huge ‘Proof’ tattoo on his forearm. Mr Porter is still Em’a hype man to this day, and they’ve stayed close. He had a few after Proof died, Royce did it for a while too. Bizarre is doing a parody of the 50 cent ‘in da club’ video - with the hanging upside down! Then also the green dress with the holes cut out and bows over the holes was in reference to (I think) Janet Jackson’s ‘wardrobe malfunction’ where Justin timberlake tried to cover her up! This also ties into the ‘N-Synch’ section where they’re dancing in the white suits! The whole thing is brilliant and always makes me laugh! We waited years on ‘My Salsa’ being released though - still nothing! Lol!
Doing a re-watch and aw man! At like 4:18 you reminded me, Asia. Nah this is the band D12, and y’all should react to How Come by them. It’s about the group D12 but obv can be applied to anyone in life. Thanks for all the Em reactions!!
I like how we see a version of eminem we dont really see in his life or other music videos he has love to see him smiling laughing and enjoying himself kind of made me feel bad for him.
He did this right around the same time as the solo stuff. These were his stage guys when he was on tour and then they kinda formed this side group. 🤷♂️
Putting the song in the class of the real slim shady etc is correct. Once upon a time it was important to have a “radio hit” to sell records. So slim or d12 would have a couple goofy songs but the rest were dark...
It came out right when he was on top of the world. Most ppl just assumed this was an Eminem song. Almost everything he did back then was funny like this. He didn't get like super super serious till like 2009 on recovery. He had songs like mockingbird and stuff before then, but since that it's been all serious.
D12 isnt bsd. I mean proof was insane good They had a live perfomance in Detroit i was at 20 years ago. Every 10 Seconds in a song they screamed fu#k marshall, and the whole crowd aswell. They where having fun... Their live performances was insane because the crowd was totally insane. Hard to get that crazy today
The young lady is right, I’ve heard a ton of D 12 songs and they are talented but they don’t standout Em gave them a chance to be recognized but never took off. Although his best friend Proof who died could have made it cuz he was second in talent to Em
Bizarre to me was the weakest rapper in D12. I mean he doesn't suck at all but I personally think he never really stood out compared to the rest of the group. Mr. Porter was probably 3rd best rapper in that group. His incredible. Proof 2nd best..A phenomenal talent that was taken too soon.
Another underrated song and video you should check out is I'll Shit On You. I think that was like their 1st song they did. I don't think was on the album though.
Proof was the hype man for eminem, and they both started this project with the rest of the band. Proof was eminems best friend. He was shot fatally in a drive by shooting in 2005 I believe. Thats when eminem fell off and started abusing sleeping pills and painkillers
Eminem and his crew had an unspoken deal that if anyone of them broke, they would try and bring others into the gane. Your wife is very beautiful, but she needs to see the humor in it. They didn't care, they were just having fun. That's what makes this track repayable, there is no diss, no political statement to be had. Just rappers having fun. Respect 👍
That last part, where Brad is laughing his ass off, was my favorite part of the video. Both for the reactions, and the actual music video. It looked like both Brad and Lex enjoyed it. And then, yep, you probably couldn't do that anymore. I mean, it's not done from a place of hate, but still, people who wake up offended would kick up dust in small numbers, and Company X would bend then knee to the. Funny thing, I went to watch the official music video, and UA-cam has the new feature that shows the most watched part of a video...guess which part people liked the most? Ha. ua-cam.com/video/ttWQK5VXskA/v-deo.html
I think the "self-mockery." of Eminem also makes him one of the greatest! Also his sarcasm....it just makes him different, apart from being the best lyricist! PS: Please look for uncensored versions :)
Greetings from Sweden. This music video is awesome. Bizzar hangs up side down like 50 cent in his video: In Da Club. Sorry for wrong gramatic and spelling errors. As you notice, english isn’t my native languish.
Don’t overthink the song it was a parody song because Eminem was so huge back then that when he introduced his group fans and critics would forget their names and mix them up and call them a band so they made a joke song about it lol and that was the great thing about em and D12 they was such dope ass spitters at the same time never took themselves too seriously they loved to joke around you can tell they was all genuine friends and crew even when you watch old videos of them behind the scenes on tours and stuff but this was usually the format the first single would be a lighthearted song then a more serious song with the bars for the second and third single. Both their albums are dope.
Marshall already opened up a "Mom's Spaghetti", when is he gonna brand a salsa "My Salsa"?!?! We're all waiting!! 😂😂❤ And he'd need to put a pic of him in that hilarious outfit!!! 😂😂😂
I spent majority of my teenage year's with "My salsa" stuck in my head lol xx
Ohhhh yaaaaa!
I should Grammar Nazi your comment, but I won't. You get a pass this time.
I’m 32 and still do
This
And we're still waiting for that single 😂
Eminem is joking in near enough every one of his ‘shady’ songs, that’s what makes him so good the fact he can be joking and it still be a great song
That’s true! I like his candor a lot 💝 its nice to hear stuff that’s real, no matter if you like what he’s saying or not
This video was even more funny when it dropped cuz it came out in *2004* they're making fun of things going on at that time. *Boy Bands* were all the rage *Bizarre* wearing the *green dress* is making fun of *Janet Jackson's* breast exposed at the super bowl halftime show & *Bizarre* is making fun of *50 cents (In Da Club)* music video etc
This type of awesomeness would straight get canceled by today's culture.
Hahahaha I was a kid and I was just enjoying but now I get it hahahahaha 🤣👌👌👌 oh pearls.
They are still friends. Proof was Em's best friend and was tragically killed in 2006... this was one of the reasons for Em's overdose in 2007. It was also the reason for his weight gain.
this is why we don't hear any music from D12 any more :\
Lex seems like the most genuine decent person in the universe. Watching her discover old music for the first time is like witnessing pure innocence. The universe gave you a true gift Brad :) Much love to both of you.
🙏🏽💝
'How Come' is a pretty decent D12 song. And 'Purple Pills' was a big hit. Both might be worth reacting to. :)
yes purple pills is top 5 d12 songs also fight music
Yes please do purple pills and not the TV/radio edit purple hills
but pleeease the UNCENSORED version 😬
“How come” for sure
The blue and yellow purple pills? Legend.
That's the fun side of d12. Fight music and purple pills.
Pistol Pistol is one of my favorites
Fight Music and How come were really good. Proof was so underrated
@@NathanCline12-21 Pistol Pistol is crazy. Everyone, except for Bizarre, goes hard 🔥🔥🙆🏾♂️
D12: "One Shot, Two Shot" "Fight Music" & "How Come" are some of their best work.
One shot two shot 👍
Both albums were awesome
D12 is the dirty dozen, six members, they all appear in em songs as either backing vocals or have verses, he shouts them out in songs constantly especially proof who was such a lyricist, they were all good though
They did another big son together. Ya gotta check out Purple Pills.
Also Fight Music.
D12 had all kinds of bad ass songs.
Purple Hills
Purple hills? Lmao
@@ezharkonnus5649 Purple Hills is the clean version name of the song.
They had so much fun shooting this video. You can tell.
The freedom Em had for creativity is absolutely insane. He ran his label's,Dre knows it.
Been waiting for 17 years for My Salsa to drop
D12 were actually very underrated. You have to react to these 2 now after this.
D12 - Fight Music
D12 - How Come
3rd song I would recommend Purple Hills which is a more jokey song similar to this one.
Not Purple Hills ghat is the edited version, the real one is called Purple Pills
@@tj_2701 Good point 👍 I'd still have it 3rd on the list of D12 songs
It's called a BANGER🤘
And the memories come flooding back!

There is for sure i saw it on someone reaction. Serach for dirty version or just search for more reactions from people.
Em blew up solo first then brought his hometown friends up. Devil's night, instigator, bitches and purple pills r some good songs
I’m with lex, his old stuff has a lot of humour.
He was in the group D12 (The Dirty Dozen) before signed with Dr. Dre and did solo albums.
D12 Rocks!! Need to find more to react to. Love you guys.
R.I.P. Proof
Music doesn't have be one feeling. You can analyze. as well has having fun laughing,or be hype .That's what makes a great artist.
This track was just meant to be goofy and funny, which it was. And yeah these guys are all still tight.
We’re STILL waiting for “My Salsa.”

Not a “bumper” today but when I tell you they
Played this song the hell out it was everywhere like TRL all the radio stations had it on repeat it was nuts back in the day
Pretty much anything em was on at that time got the most airplay
You have to check "How come", "Words are weapons", "Relevation", "Fight music", "Under the influence"...
"Get My Gun" is a good D12 song, keeps the humor and shows off the others better as well!
This is the comment I was looking for... 👍👍👍
D12 the hardest boy band in the world. That line always make me laugh.
They were all great especially Proof R.I.P.
Lex's reaction when Bizzare came in LMAO!
I love that Brad is cracking up🤣
Purple Pills With D12 is so good

Fight music and devils night is really good. This is just a one off funny radio song. Album is really good.
More of D12 please :D this is awesome
When the music stops, Instigator, Pistol, Pistol are all D-12 songs worth checking out
I'm so glad y'all did this one
They straight clownin boy girl pop bands in this 1 😂😂😂
That's what you get with Eminem.. there's a song for every occasion.. 😌 you get to choose any of the three modes: slim, marshal and eminem.. 😄
