Great, informative video. Thank you for sharing! On the price difference with the canopus gold model vs the sedna gold model: Both are 18k gold which means 75% gold. The price difference lies within the 25%. >80% of this 25% (20%+) is palladium. The current price of gold is $59.4 per gram, palladium currently sits at $77.2 per gram. It is also notably more difficult to construct cases and bracelets out of this white gold alloy vs. the sedna gold.
Perhaps watch brands should receive more criticism when charging absurd amounts of money for platinum vs. various 18k gold alloys. Some brands have charged double for the platinum model vs. the gold model...

I agree. Platinum is supposed to be harder to work with than Gold, but do they really need more time to manufacture a platinum vs a gold watch? I think at the core of their price decision lies "how much can we get?" instead of "how much does it cost us"

Is there anything listed about the box? Do both come with the big box kit of the previous generation? I haven’t seen anything about this yet.

Unfortunately not. They changed it to a smaller box without any accessories (beside a smaller inner box that you can remove and use as a travel box). They were too busy increasing the prices, no more time for accessories :-)

I think the Omega web-site is too tedious to navigate to know EXACTLY which watch is which.
The Rolex site is way more straight forward; as are their watches.....
    Thanks!

Welcome. I agree, Omega just has too many different watches. Especially the Seamster line. Takes you like two hours until you really understand all the offerings.
