The sheer amount of confidence Wario has in this game was strangely comforting to me as a child despite me being horrified of the bosses. Wario’s demeanor made me feel like I could win.
Wario stares down jacked monster dudes, dinosaurs, dragons, giant spiders, and all kinds of eldritch horrors and just flexes on them all the entire time.
He’d yell “IM’MA NUMBA ONE!” before beating these nightmares to death barehanded, all the while further insulting them by telling them to leave or telling them to have an awful day.
And then after all that punching? Time for some straight up raw cloves of garlic. Bad ass.
the Best part is that Wario goes full wrestler, sticking their head to the ground or just throwing them like they were nothing
Yet in Golf Toadstool Tour's intro he's freaking scared of an angry Bowser and runs away? >_<
Bullcrap! Bowser is no more threatening then some of the creatures Wario has fought here and in his other games. Wario can easily take on and kick Bowser's butt!
@@robonaught You seem to forget that Bowser himself has taken down his fair share of eldritch creatures as well.
This game was just so satisfying. The impactful sound effects when pile driving an enemy just felt amazing.

This game dipped straight into the uncanny valley in the best kind of way. These are some of the most terrifying bosses I've seen. And I love them.

This game is SO underrated. Seriously. The effects were awesome, great level design, very unique boss designs, great soundtrack, challenging, LOTS to collect... I truly wish this game got more love, since it truly deserves it!

Perhaps I'm odd but I like the Wario plat former games more than Super Mario bros despite getting lower review scores. Notably Wario Land and Shake It Dimension
Unique art style, unpredictable bosses, trial and error style gameplay, and an more complex protagonist. How often is an greedy glutton an hero?
The next Wario plat former just needs multi-player with Waluigi (and perhaps Wario Ware buddies) then it would be perfect

Does anyone remember how if you fell off the map in the game, you ended up in this weird place where ghost dogs chase you and shake the cash off you, the water makes you lose your cash, and you have to keep breaking crates until you find a spring to get back up? What was up with this game?

Sadly none of them returning in other games. Heck I don't think any of these characters from Wario World made it as spirits in Smash Ultimate!

Are you serious right now? Do you know anything at all about Mario? Mario stomps on Enormous Dragons, Mechs, and Demons and Giant Dinosaurs as well, have you played The RPG games or the mario galaxy games? In galaxy the villains Mario fights are even powered up by grand stars which are powerful enough to destroy the universe, as stated by the instruction manual of the game.The creatures he fights are much more powerful then these guys, to top it off he even is capable of restraining giant chain chomps in sunshine and even punching and kicking giant stone creatures and stone hands in Super Mario 64 as well as picking up Bowser by the tail and sending him flying, who is leagues more powerful then any villain wario has faced. Bowser uses Magic, he’s strong enough to drag islands , and powerful enough to take over the universe. Mario also fought super dimintio , dreamy bowser, the shadow queen, and antasma who all threatened the mario universe and the dream dimensions. mario even helped kill the mario universe equivalent of satan, the dark star, who is way more powerful than a demon obviously. Mario’s feats and abilities are way more impressive then Warios. Btw Dying to Koopas and Goombas is just a game mechanic and it doesn’t make Mario weak. It’s to make the game balanced.

Every time I fought Captain Skull, I would always execute the piledriver on him after jumping off the crow's nest. It looked so much cooler, and more devastating that way.

Wario seriously fought some of the most freakiest bosses in all Nintendo history.
Don’t forget about Luigi, some of the bosses and enemies he fought in Luigi’s Mansion are pretty creepy
I have to say Wario World and Luigi’s Mansion are pretty much the only Mario games that I know that have the most creepy, scary Bosses and Enemies

Probably my favorite thing about this game was the sound design. Everything has this otherworldly feeling to it that made the adventure all the stranger :)

Out of the few games I've played, Wario World has some of most re-playable boss battles. They're simple, but fun enough to go back and replay the game again just for the battles, and that's not including all the random mini boss battles in the levels.
Also, being able to spin the bigger enemies and make a spectacle of it was just the cherry on top. The amount of times I've yeeted the black jewel into the void.

That's one of the big things I felt made this game so much fun. Being able to spin and throw enemies only to see them glitch and bounce never failed to be amusing.

Grant1 Nordin1 It's because Charles, Wario's actor changed from a higher pitched, more enthusiastic voice to a deeper rough one. Personal preference is all. Going from this to Mario Party Star Rush really shows his changing voice

This game had a lot of unique and creepy bosses: I always feared when I was younger that if you looked at Winter Windster during his red eyed-hypno attack, that'd insta-kill Wario in some terrible way!
When I see Winter Windster, several questions come to mind.
The Dual Dragon boss I liked was great after you attack the two stupid dragon heads and they go dying in the water like crazy!
