Career as a research staff with a PhD?

Becoming a principal investigator (PI) and getting a tenure is not the only way to stay in the academic world. Today, I’d like to share with you a career path that is in between academia and administration: research staff.
My name is Ju. I'm a PhD in neuroscience turned machine learning engineer. I talk about tech career, machine learning, and life.

I think so. But they may be too busy to reply. I'd also contact people working for the PI, such as technicians, postdoc, grad students.
