anytime I am completely and utterly void of nostalgia, I put this on and the memories flow back to me like im re-living it. thumbs up if you started with this album as a young child and still listened to it as a teenager when youd come home after your first kisses or nights out with your friends and you felt so alive. this album raised me, all i need is to have a drink and put this on and those memories are so alive still
No. Urban voodoo was first. Also, bernhard locker the dude who wrote brutality is a co writer for xray dog. So the dude who made brutality also made screaming souls
It will forever remain a tragedy that this band didn't take off and put out more albums. My favorite song off their album is Social Intercourse, and it's remarkably hard to find anywhere even if you want to pay for it.
I tried to ask the vocalist, but he didn't respond. He had a patreon. Maybe he was answering there, but I have problems with money. Anyway here is his channel. He sings various songs there. Mostly covers - ua-cam.com/users/KamaryPhillipsvideos
@@arseniy he's an acoustic cowboy now, i dont remember where I saw it but he gets upset when this stuff is brought up. Think he moved on from that life

Too bad this one isnt on Spotify. Would love to have it in my playlist. Bought the mk annihilation soundtrack end of the 90s in the us. Still a great song.
Mortal Kombat Annihilation soundtrack bought in 1997 still listening in 2022 (fits better than Mimic, because a 'Brutality' is actually a finishing-move in Mortal Kombat)
Listeninig in 2019! This is for sure Urban Voodoo. The non-film version is from their Elegant Friction album. Album version has a guy saying "it's got the intrigue of a Hitchcock story", right before the song explodes with Berns guitar. Sounds to me ya'lls X Ray Dog probably owes these dudes some dough ha! Kamary Phillips & Bernhard Locker are UV.
this song is pretty ill. it all works really well together. separately i dig the raunchy and explicit song writing, as well as the use of the breakbeat w some industrial stuff and the little details in the production. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The ending of Mimic 2 and noticed he took or X Ray Dog took from him no idea the music. Usually I’m slow at noticing movies using songs I own, but this one I noticed immediately.
If I remember correctly X-Ray Dog and Urban Voodoo are the same guy. X-Ray Dog is his company that makes "production music" for trailers, commercials etc... So he made an instrumental out ot Brutality.

This movie came out a few days before my birthday. I saw this in theaters, I've loved this sound track and both mk movies since then
Powerful track for a powerful feeling, been rocking for 24 years, already. Timeless...just like brutality. Welldone, Urban Voodoo. 😑
Very powerful.
Brutality with that Animality.

But it has mentioned in the final credits.
1 dislike.. someone really got pwned hard at this game
Mimic 2.
Mimic 2 also used this song in their end credits
Can confirm. $4 well spent.
When nostalgia hits like a truck. The only thing good about that movie we don't name.
the band broke up cause their photographer got murdered around the time they were recording.

It's finally behind me
There are some wounds that will never heal
It bio-physically comes to haunt me
It leaves a scar I can't conceal
