Am I the only one who feels MKA was just missed potential rather than being straight trash? Like, the recipe was there but the dish was cooked so unevenly that it turned out awful? (After seeing MK 2021 and rewatching the live action 90s duology, Annihilation isn't as bad as I initially thought.) Anyway, the turd salad was the 2021 with 0 redeeming features whereas Annihilation at least had a few outside of the music. For one thing, Annihilation at least had a plot and character arcs. lol
I know it's quality is not as great as the first one but I really love Mortal Kombat Annihilation because it has Shao Kahn and it is the plot of the third game.
Like Power Rangers got me into Van Halen, Chili Peppers and They Might Be Giants (my favorite band), this timelessly catchy soundtrack got me into techno starting in middle school but for some reason took me time to a actually appreciate this one. I think this is my favorite other than Megalomaniac. The movies are nice for different reasons to me.

My favorite soundtrack albums of those years were An American Werewolf in Paris (1997), Godzilla (1998), Batman & Robin (1997), Blade (1998). I discovered very good bands through these soundtracks. They played this song!? HOLY CRAP!! When I bought the soundtrack for this movie. This was my favorite song in that soundtrack. Ha! Guess I was a face to face fan without realizing!" Seriously guys! I heard more of their tunes and not only the original song sounds better. But a lot of their songs are freakin' awesome!!! Check them out! Plus they sounded great live!

So if you want a rough approximation of what Face to Face actually wanted the original song to sound like, listen on UA-cam at 1.25x speed.
